I love that she decorates the office for each holiday and season, and it really is just a joy to see her each time and catch up. She is very accommodating and in my experience it is best to set up monthly appointments for maintenance. Susan also gives great advice on maintenance and which products can help. Unfortunately I decided to write this review for future clients, she does not tolerate ppl not being able to come in and charges not only deposit but extra she charged me 90 in total and wanted more for when I was able to come in...I was a loyal costumer and she didn't excuse my absence although I called. She didn't return my money and was unkind. I feel I needed to post this because I wouldn't want this to happen to a future client also I do recommend Kay's esthetics she is not only more fair with price , she also understands when you need to reschedule in a decent time even if it's not a decent time she was able to understand way more Than Susan. I've been getting waxed by Susan for almost 3 years now! I found her through a friend who recommended her and I've never looked back. She's super easy to talk to and her price is very affordable compared to other places. I'm a punctual person and like to get to appointments early (like 10-15 min) and often times she's able to take me in early! Keep in mind that this isn't always going to happen though since it also depends on the appointment before yours, but doesn't hurt to tell her when you're there and she'll let you know when to come in. I highly recommend Susan. Honestly not sure why she has some bad reviews, but everyone has their own opinion and experience I guess. I had my first Brazilian with Susan about a little over two years ago and I've always stuck with her ever since. She makes the process very comfortable and painless. In grown hairs have been an issue for me before but Susan has helped me over the years on managing them and almost getting rid of them completely. I don't feel self conscious wearing tiny bikini bottoms now! The salon was closed due to covid for a while but now it's open again and everything is extremely sanitary and safe. If you have a last-minute change, she is rude and abusive on text and will not schedule you again. In fact, she'll block your number if you try and reason with her. I have been going to her for over a year and had to cancel last minute because of a issue with my daughter. I booked a time a lot with Susan at 830 am on a Saturday October 10th, in order to reserve this spot I had to go to the bank to put down a deposit or she could not save my appt. she gave me detailed instructions not to be late or to cancel last minute and if so my deposit would be lost however I showed up 30 minutes before my appointment texted her when I got there, texted her again at my appointment time which is 830 to let her know that I was outside and for her to come get me (policy due to covid 19) YET I never heard from her, she never answered any of my calls or texts! But she was quick to take my deposit money! I have not received a refund for the deposit! This is BAD business and I will be letting others know! I have a newborn and a toddler at home and it was not easy to leave them to come out your way to not even be serviced yet alone even answered! Shame on you!!! read more
