However, Linh was incredibly gentle and thorough throughout the process, and to my surprise, I ended up napping through 90% of it! It was a great experience. I had some redness afterward, which faded within two days. Light peeling started around day four, and by the end of the first week, my skin was glowing with noticeable fading of some acne scar. Linh shapes my eyebrows so beautifully and so precisely, but the last time I went a year ago, I got burned/skin peeled under my eyebrow, so I didn't go back for around a year. I decided to give her another chance yesterday before going to Coachella this weekend, and told her how I was burned last time so I was afraid, and she said she would take extra precaution. My eyebrows were waxed/shaped beautifully, but she also waxed my upper lip and unfortunately burned my upper lip... I'm frustrated to write this review because I now I will be going to Coachella with a large dark blemish in the middle of my face. I have gotten my eyebrows and upper lip waxed for years and I have never gotten burned before. I recently treated myself to a Dermaplane Facial from Linh. After years since my skin care treatment and spending lots of time under the sun, I decided it would be good to take care of my skin. Linh was very professional and skillful. The procedure started with a dermaplane or removing the tiny peach fuzz on your skin. There was also an extraction to help remove whiteheads from your pores followed by a hydrojelly and soothing mask. Following the treatment, I noticed the surface of my skin was glass smooth and also glowing. I met up with some friends later that day and they noticed the same thing. If you're a guy out there, don't be afraid of getting a facial and treating yourself especially if you spend a lot of time outdoors. In addition to having my skin treated and restored, Linh was able to answer a lot of my questions about how to better maintain and take care of my skin. If you work in a field where you have to see clients or patients and want to put your best face forward, definitely come and get your skin treated a few times a year.
