Horrible experience with Hannah. I've been coming here since 2020 when Joy was the only one working here. I always booked with Joy til she disappeared. Now I book with Jennifer or Thi since they are the ones who are somewhat consistent with their work altho they still do things differently everytime I go (ex: skipping cleaning lashes before starting, skipping removing some old, longer lashes and I ask for cat eye or whatever style I want but it's not that style). I go every 3 weeks for my refill but I went in earlier this time (2 weeks 2 days) because I wanted my lashes to look fuller for Mother's Day. My usual techs were booked so I booked with Hannah since she had last min availability and I regret booking with her so much. She took a really long time and kept pinching my eyelids without saying sorry and kept pulling and getting frustrated with my lashes because they kept getting stuck or something and I could tell she kept pulling out bunch of my lashes forcing lashes to detach. And she had audacity to charge me extra because she says my lashes kept clumping and she took so long for me. How's that my problem? You are the one who placed them all clumped. And I told her it's only been 2 weeks since I've been here and she says it's a whole new set. WTH? And I asked for volume and she barely did hybrid probably because she pulled out so much of my lashes. She still charged me for volume with extra charge because of "clumping". Really?? What a joke. Like I said I've been coming here for 6 years and I never had anyone charging me extra like this just after 2 weeks of my last fill and telling me I'm getting charged more because my lashes kept getting clumped. She got frustrated which is her own fault and decided to charge me more for her own lack of skill. I tried to contact Joy about this but she's never available. Don't book with Hannah. read more

Got my lashes done today by tiara and I left so beyond happy. I got a lash removal on a set I did not love and was just not happy with. Tiara then did a full set hybrid on me. She walked me through the process of lashes and styles and asked what I was looking for. She took exactly everything I asked for and made it happen. She was quick and efficient, the place looked clean, cozy and peaceful which made the experience even better. Tiana was the best and I let her know I wish she was more local to me because I would continue going to her! They were so awesome when I contacted them yesterday evening about getting in that same day or early the next morning and they answered almost immediately and offered me an appointment for the next morning. I am so impressed with this lash studio. Here's why - they DIDN'T give me a set of lashes. I saw Thi for a quick consult and she was honest with me saying my lashes, that are slowly growing back, were not ready yet(1 year post chemo). I appreciated her honesty and professionalism! She even applied a few "test" lashes to see how my eyes responded to the glue, etc. So far so good. She recommend that I try an eyelash serum to promote growth and she kindly said that she hopes to see me back when I'm ready. I've tried two other lash places before and for whatever reason, I lose my lashes in about a week - maybe because I have oily skin? So I told my tech tiara about that issue and lo and behold - my lashes last for over a month! I could def smell the glue that she used tho; I didn't smell at the other two places, so I knew it must have been strong. My lashes did seem to grow back slower so I took a hiatus from refill. I was going to another place called Sarah's Lashes for almost 1 year (2 wks shy). I was quoted $65 beforehand for eyelashes removal. Sarah found out where I live during my last visit. After my service was done, she charged me $80. I asked her why it's more than what I was quoted. She replied, "because it took more time." I don't mind paying more if I was told ahead of time, but to add more money because Sarah found out where I live is B's! Anyhow I'm very happy to find Joyful Lash Bar!!! I like that I can book online. I can modify my appt online or via text. Tiara and the rest of the ladies are so professional. My lashes last 3 weeks! I was going every 2 wks like I did at Sarah's Lashes. I'm super happy with Joyful Lash Bar. I have referred my older son's girlfriend and my friends. They all loved Joyful Lash Bar!!! I also like that this place is super clean. When I'm done having my eyelashes put on. Tiara hands me my own brush in a tube. This review is long overdue, and I often think about how I must write a review while I'm relaxing and having my lashes done! I have been coming here for over a year now, and I'm always so happy with the quality and service. Mindy typically does my lashes, but I have also seen Hannah, Jennifer and Tiara. I have been happy with my lashes time and time again and highly recommend each of them. I used to be hesitant about lash extensions because I feel they can sometimes look overdone and age you, but I explained the more natural, wispy look I was trying to achieve, and these ladies nail it each visit. My lashes feel and look natural and last a long time. I come in about every 2-3 weeks, and look forward to the relaxing experience and calm music. I'm usually in and out in about an hour. I also love the convenience of booking online, although I will recommend -- book in advance, as the schedule fills up! read more

This is my second time coming here and I'm planning to come here from now on! I got the classic because I'm not one to wear makeup all the time and the classic is just enough for me. Joy is great! My lashes look full and they last longer than another place I use to go to. She takes her time and does an amazing job!!! There's ample parking in the back or there's street parking out front. They respond within 10 mins! I book my appointments via Yelp because they never answer the phone because they're always with clients (which is a good thing), but they do have this automated thing that texts you back saying "sorry, we missed your call, how can we help you..." sort of message and you can text them through that or through the Yelp messages. They are also really good about responding through that too! read more
