It honestly feels like I paid for nothing. They finished a full face in less than 10 minutes, which has never happened at any other threading place I've been to. My daughter also got her eyebrows done, and they gave her a horrible shape. I would never come back and would not recommend this place to anyone. The morning of, I called to pay in advance and was told to either pay at the front desk or send payment immediately through Venmo. The owner texted me her Venmo, so I sent $180 using Venmo Purchase Protection. After payment, I was told it was "on hold" and that they hadn't received it, even though the money had already left my bank. I sent proof of the transaction. Shortly after, my appointment was canceled. I was told I would be refunded, but I never received the money. My calls and texts were ignored until I called from another number, at which point I was told to "talk to Venmo" instead. I had to open a dispute through Venmo Purchase Protection and was eventually refunded through Venmo, not the business. This was handled very unprofessionally from start to finish. I recommend reading the other 1-star reviews as well, because they show a pattern in how the owner handles situations and treats customers. ---- UPDATE in response to the owner's reply (Google review): Their response leaves out key context. My concern is not the Venmo processing delay itself, but how the situation was handled afterward. I did not repeatedly request anything. I have proof of that as well. I followed up twice, and requested on Venmo like they had told me to. The issue remains the lack of communication, lack of basic professionalism, failure to issue the promised refund, and how the situation was handled once the payment issue arose. No business should ignore a customer and leave them with no explanation.

I'm a cosplayer and I prefer to have eyelashes extensions with Hannah. This is Shoujo Manga Cat Eyes style, it's dramatic enough to enhance any character look, yet still natural enough to wear off-stage. It lasts pretty long even though I use strong make up remover. Having lashes on save me so much time doing make up and of course they won't fall off when im sweat in costume. If you are a cosplayer and want to wear lashes (and avoid falsies fell off awkwardly at the con), you definitely should come visit this place. read more

She did an amazing job on my lashes, I mentioned to her that I normally do a doll eye and if she can suggest what would look the best on me and SHE PERFECTED IT. I showed her the look I wanted, and she delivered exactly what I asked for. I would highly recommend Moon Lash! A couple of suggestions: the Tustin location isn't currently listed on the website, and the pricing is on the higher side for first-time clients as well as 2-3 week refills. I'd love to see more perks or loyalty incentives for returning clients, as the $167 price for a new set and the refill costs can add up. That would be my only hesitation about returning because otherwise, I absolutely loved my experience!

I was initially excited to find this studio because it's so close to my work. I'm also a lash…read moreartist based in Tustin and was hoping to find a convenient place to get my own lashes done. Unfortunately, this ended up being the worst lash studio experience I've had. For my first appointment, I requested a light, wispy set and explained that I wanted as many of my natural lashes filled as possible while keeping the fans light and natural. Vicky was nice and attentive to the style I wanted, but afterward I noticed quite a few natural lashes had been left unlashed. She also seemed rushed toward the end because her next client was already waiting. I contacted the studio the next day and asked if they could make the set slightly fuller. Ashley handled the adjustment, and from the moment I arrived, she was extremely cold and unfriendly. Instead of greeting me, she immediately asked, "What do you need fixed?" When I tried pointing out the sparse areas, she interrupted me and said, "I can't see what you're pointing to. Lay down." I explained that I liked the original style and simply wanted the bare natural lashes filled. Instead, my lashes came out significantly darker and thicker, uneven between both eyes, and with little attention to the original mapping. When I told her I wanted the lighter fans Vicky had used, she responded, "Well, I don't know what she did, so I can't do the same style." This was surprising considering they work and train under the same studio. I eventually left dissatisfied and booked at another studio the following week. During that week, my lashes became increasingly uncomfortable and felt like they were pulling on each other. When the other artist removed them, she took photos confirming that multiple lashes were stuck together. In some areas, approximately 3-4 natural lashes were glued to a single fan, and some fans were glued together as well. The removal was difficult and painful due to Ashley and Vicky's poor application. Although Vicky was much nicer and did a better job with the styling, some of her original application also had natural lashes stuck together. The bases of the lashes were very boxy too, which explains why I felt like the lashes were poking my eyelid anytime I closed my eyes. As a lash artist myself, I don't leave a review like this lightly. Proper isolation is extremely important for the health and integrity of natural lashes. Between the application issues and the way my concerns were handled, I unfortunately cannot recommend Moon Lash. The experience showed a lack of consistency between artists, poor customer service, and most importantly, a lack of attention to natural lash health.
