My schedule did not work with me and by 7:00pm I was stressing to find a place to get threaded. I found Eyebrows By Arlin via yelp through a couple of searches and called to see if they were still open. Thankfully they were and I rushed my butt over. I did not expect the establishment to be in a middle of the outlet, I was so confused when maps led me to the mall, parked and had to run around to find where the actual shop was at. There was about 15 min left before closing and the lady at the booth waved me inside and quickly accomodated me. I kept telling her I was so thankful to find them at this hour and that I got lost for a bit. I'm used to threading so pain was nothing for me and she went fast and efficient!! We were done before closing and it was the fastest I've ever had m face fully threaded with no problems. The price is a little bit more than where I usually go but for how quick and great the experience was, it was worth it! 10/10 recommend for your threading services. Always come to your appointment without makeup. Don't blame the stylist for messing up your brows when it's common sense to clean your face before you get anything done. That's not her job to clean your face of makeup. I came yesterday (blonde girl) and was a bit nervous to go because I heard a lot of things about the lady being rude or messing up (which was not true, she was very quiet but professional!!!) Upon waiting I did see she had a few customers (busy lady) but the wait was very quick. Her work is AMAZING. She is absolutely professional in what she does. I cannot stress how amazing this business is. Even when I left to LA for college, I would make trips just to get my eyebrows done here because of how consistent and natural they make my brows look. I've been going here for 2 years now! On another note, I was present when a customer was being extremely rude to one of the workers while I went in this past Thursday who told her friend outside the shop that she's going to complain until they offer to do her brows for free... When the lady who was working asked how she wanted her eyebrows she responded with "I don't know it's your job". Which honestly doesn't make any sense to me because the more you describe what you want , you will get it because everyone who works there is attentive and does really well with threading. It was one of those experiences where you just wanted to apologize that a customer was treating a worker like they were less than. Went there today with my girlfriend to get her brows done and she's been coming here for up to a year almost now , and the one time the business owner is there things just go south. She began to tear up because they messed up her eyebrows badly and when she asked to be fixed they began to become aggressive and yell at her , "you've just had a bad day and come in here to take it out " I got up in a calm manner and asked them to please calm down there is no need for yelling she's just asking you to fix her eyebrows and if it's coming off wrong it's because she's very sad and upset because they looks really bad . When she proceeded to continue yelling she blurted out " you people always try to do this " keep in mind we're both Hispanic . We're not broke we weren't looking for a free service we told her we just asked her to fix it . She then began to say she'll call security if we don't leave immediately . I don't know if it's just me but if I was a buisness owner I wouldn't run it like this . She escalated the situation way more than it should've been could've simply offer to fix it in a good manner I don't ever post reviews but besides this there's nothing I can do about a buisness that treat customers very rude at the end of the . Passed by this place and was in need of some eyebrow action. Checked out the prices that are visible for you to see. I walked to the entrance and a woman opened the door and I asked the price of the services I needed and if she had time. She stated in 15 minutes because she had an appointment. Sounds good and told her I would be close by. So I walked around for 15 minutes. I came back after 15 minutes and she had a client in her chair still. Once the client was done she exited and the woman changed the signage from open to closed. I went up to her and requested to know if I needed to come back or if she could take me. She was very polite about it brought me in and took care of it. I asked if it would hurt and she said yes. I sat back and she threaded my eyebrow and upper lip. This was my first experience so I didn't know what to expect. The pain was mild for my eyebrows. My upper lip was very painful and my eyes had tears in them as she finished my upper lip. She proceeded to tell me she had not taken lunch and needed to eat or she would get nauseous and throw up. I sympathize with her but I felt she was giving me a guilt trip. That made the entire experience uncomfortable and hard to want to return to get work done here. She did fine on my eyebrows and upper lip. Nice clean up. She always makes the small amount of eyebrow hair I have look good. I'm so glad I found her! I have really thin eyebrows (naturally). They also grow very funky. Because of this, I only do eyebrow threading because it helps it "grow" just a little. Everywhere I've gone, they've always make it thinner or uneven. Do NOT go here if you want your brows super thin!! I had grown my brows out and needed them threaded pretty bad. They were thick, I was expecting the lady to just clean them up and still keep them full and lengthy but no, the lady full on thinned my brows out to the smallest size I've ever had my brows... Then she gave me the mirror and asked if I liked them as if she could go back and redo them. This lady needs to research face size to brow ratio because these brows do not suit my face whatsoever. A good brow lady will never overdo it but that is exactly what she did. Overall not a good place to go if you just want them to be cleaned up. Right in the center between Starbucks and DKNY, this place doesn't draw a lot of attention to itself. But that's a good thing! It is very simple, very clean area and I love that about it. Nothing drawing you in with fancy promotions or a lot of bad 70s photos of women. Just a nice, overall clean environment. So this was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded/done ever and I don't know if she knew that or not but she was very easy going and did her thing. It was surprisingly really fast! I read things before this that it takes about a half hour or more and this took like 5 minutes if that. I was in and out of there before I knew it. More like 2.5 stars. First time doing tinting in my eyebrows and I was really excited to try it. Unfortunately the tinting only lasted about 6 days max, so definitely not worth the price. They did look nice for the 3-4 days but that is about it. Customer service was not the best for us, I understand the place is small but I was a first time costumer and I was with my dad, who is an elder and cannot be left alone at any moment, there was one chair free still and I gave my seat to my dad and the lady still asked me to wait outside. Did not find to be good and appropriate customer service specially to an elder person on a hot day. Located among the chaotic layout at The Outlet of Orange is where you will find Arlin. It's not a store but a kiosk near Sak's Off 5th / by Starbucks but it feels surprisingly roomy, fits 4 chairs/stations, has lots of natural light so it doesn't feel claustrophobic inside, and extremely clean. I went in for eyebrow threading and it cost $10, which is only a couple dollars more than my usual place. However it's definitely worth it for the convenience since I'm already shopping. The person who threaded my eyebrow also took her time and my eyebrows looked great. While I was there I overheard that eyebrow threading + tint is $30. I have naturally fuller eyebrows so I haven't considered tinting my brows but since they are so meticulous here I might try it out and see how it turns out. read more
