The clinician called me to ask if I could come in early and I said yes hoping to be feeling better but as I began to work on some things at home I felt worse and worse. (I just found out I have Covid). I attempted to reschedule through Vagaro, but because my appointment was less than six hours away, the system would not allow me to do so. I called the salon and was informed by a staff member that I would be charged a $10 cancellation fee despite being sick and wanting to reschedule rather than cancel outright. Since my service was only an underarm wax, the fee amounted to approximately 40% of the total service cost. I asked whether an exception could be made given the circumstances, but was told it was the "manager's policy." The response felt very scripted and lacked any empathy for the situation. I ultimately agreed to pay the fee, but asked that the manager be informed they had lost a customer over $10. Unfortunately, the experience became even more disappointing. The manager, Sarah, called me after I had already explained that I was sick and wanted to discuss the situation. I was really not feeling well and did not appreciate receiving a call to discuss this further. I told the manager that, because I wasn't feeling well, the only discussion I was interested in having was whether the cancellation fee would be refunded. Instead of addressing my concern, Sarah ended the call abruptly by HANGING UP ON ME. I understand that businesses have cancellation policies, but customer service and compassion matter. A little flexibility for a client who woke up sick and was trying to reschedule, not avoid paying, would have gone a long way. Instead, I was charged a fee that represented a significant portion of the service cost and was treated in a way that ensured I won't be returning. If you book here, just be aware that if you wake up sick on the day of your appointment, you should expect the cancellation fee to be enforced regardless of the circumstances.

I was doing everything I could to still make it to my appointment and expected to be only about five minutes past the grace period. I was even willing to shorten my service to just the Brazilian wax, without the mask, so I could still be seen, and I was willing to pay the full service price with no discount. Unfortunately, the receptionist was not willing to accommodate this. I also asked if I could speak with a manager and was told to email, but that management would not be reaching out to me. I was charged a $40 missed appointment fee, so I emailed management to explain the situation and request that the fee be refunded as a one-time courtesy. Berlyn Ramirez, the founder, responded that she would look into the matter and get back to me. I provided the requested screenshots of my calls. Since then, I have followed up twice requesting a status update and have still received no response. I completely understand having appointment policies and late fees, but I'm disappointed by the lack of communication and follow-through after I made several attempts to resolve the issue directly. I'm normally very punctual and was genuinely trying to make it to my appointment despite an unexpected situation. I would have preferred to resolve this privately, but after multiple attempts to follow up without receiving a response, I feel it's important to share my experience.

Linh is seriously the sweetest. I went to her for last minute last lift back in April. She was just moving into her studio and hadn't even received any of her equipment and products yet, but told me that if it comes in, she'd reach out. Give it about 2 days later, I'm walking in and getting a lash lift. I was beyond happy with the results and happily referred my best friend to give Linh a call 24 hours later. A few months later, I saw that she had a few openings, so I reached out to see if could get a facial and bam! I got my very first facial the next day! Linh talked me through step by step what she was going to do and what type of products she was going to use. Her care and work is just stellar. You can really tell she loves what she's doing. OMG, I still cannot get over my experience with my brow lamination and lash lift w/ tint. FIRSTLY, I flew in from Oklahoma for a medical procedure and literally the day before reached out to her to see if she could fit me in on the only day I would be able to make it work which happened to be a day she was fully booked. She put in woe to accommodate me and I was able to get in the next day and I am so THANKFUL to her for that personal effort. SECONDLY, she absolutely SLAYED my look, exactly what I asked for with soooo much attention to detail and precision and patience. Linh was sooooo amazing. The studio was super cute and the service bed was incredibly comfortable. I got a Korean lash lift and it was such a relaxing experience.
