This place should really be called amazing head, face, neck, shoulder, arms, and legs spa! I went with a friend and we had the most relaxing time. We wanted to pamper ourselves so we chose the 2 hour treatment and we got a really lovely experience! Jade did my service and she was amazing!!! Anna did the service for my friend and she got glowing reviews as well! We didn't know it, but they had a special promotion going on in November where they added on a bunch of free upgrades to the service. Not only did we get the full 2 hour treatment, they also did advanced face massage, as well as leg and feet massage. The place is small but so incredibly cozy. There's only 2 spots so we had a private and pampered experience. It's called a head spa, but it was truly more than that. We started off with a heated eye mask and scalp massage, followed by a face and neck massage, leg massage, and then a thorough double cleanse and conditioner. My hair felt so soft and revived after the treatment. And my face felt so smooth and glowy! Truly 2 hours of bliss. Once the massage and washing were over, we were treated to some cute snacks, followed my a thorough drying and even light styling of hair with Dyson hair dryers. Jade made sure to dry my low porosity hair thoroughly and even changed out some of the dryer heads to give me a little blow out! I debated on leaving this review but I went to this place and compared to the reviews, I'm unsure if I came during a busy or off day. If I were a potential customer, I'd prefer to read all the reviews including the good, bad, and ugly to make an informative decision so this is based on my experience. For starters, we started roughly 15 minutes late and we booked the 2 hour course and even paid an extra $35 for a 15 minute add-on so in total, the course should have taken 2 hours and 15 minutes. Looking at when we ended, we ended right around the 2-hour mark. I asked for hard pressure and it was very soft so for those wanting a really deep massage or one that you can feel, I personally can't recommend this place. I've been to a different place where she went so hard, I felt it the next day and it was amazing. Here... I felt nothing but just a bunch of light touches. I also understand I have a lot of hair and know that it takes a while to blow dry. I left with damp hair and will have to finish up drying my hair at home. For a place that advertises making your hair soft and silky, my hair disagrees with that. So it was $189, $35 for the add-on - so $224. Was it worth the $224 and tip? Not really - I can name a different location I went to last week that was cheaper, applied better pressure with the massage, and fully dried my hair. Would I ultimately recommend this place? No. I live quite literally across the street and really wished this was a place I can be a regular at but I'd rather take the drive elsewhere. Were the ladies there nice? Yes. Was the tea they give you at the end delicious? Yes. Was the ambiance or vibe nice? Sure. But if you do go - please do not do any add-ons. You're essentially doing the same as tossing $35 into a fire pit. read more

I visited Amazing Head Spa in Orange for the first time after usually going to a Black-owned head spa in the Valley, which can be a bit far and hard to book. I decided to give this place a try knowing they don't specialize in ethnic hair. The experience overall was very relaxing, the scalp and back massage, along with the facial, were amazing and definitely worth it. The only challenge was during the blow dry portion. My stylist seemed to struggle a bit with detangling and blow drying my hair type. I ended up finishing the process at home using my Dyson with the comb attachment, which works well for me. Next time, I'll opt out of the blow dry, but I'd still return for the spa and massage portion, super soothing and a nice way to unwind. read more

A thorough scalp massage, neck, shoulder, and back massage, followed by a foot massage. It was very relaxing, coupled with aromatherapy. I had the Healing Oasis head spa, which is the 2 hour treatment, with Anna. I left with my skin hydrated, my hair feeling so soft, and overall feeling relaxed. Located in the Phenix Salons, they have a nice setup with a very relaxing atmosphere. The treatment I chose included face, shoulder, neck, arm\hand and foot massage (some with hot stones), gentle stretching, face mask, steam, essential oils, warm steamed towels and treatments with several different tools on the face and scalp (that felt amazing) in addition to the scalp massage, hair shampoo, oil and conditioning treatments.
