First time getting a massage, I am in recovery from my pregnancy, I went in 4 weeks postpartum. Made my schedule online, selected which date and time, submit my reservation with my card info, they also let you do add-on to the massage. I selected 90 minute massage versus the 60 minutes. It was really nice, I needed the relaxation badly. I went in to the reception table, wrote in the form they have included which area of your body need more attention to. So you'll circle in which part of your body would like the massage on. I circled my lower back and arms that needed attentive. I had the pleasure of getting my massage from Joy. She was great, she definitely targeted area I needed to recover, during the session she asked me first if some of the massage was alright so I wouldn't get hurt or uncomfortable and I appreciate that. There were oil massage, and hot towel to wipe the oil off. I did the aromatherapy scalp massage, that was really nice. My head was aching so much so I really like that. Definitely gets a little oily after though if you do get it. After the session was done, I got clothed, and they offer me water to rehydrate. There was also a shower included there too if anyone needs to shower afterwards. I would have liked some more time on the parts where I was hurting more, it'll be nice to have more of the massage on one part than the others for sure, but overall it was a good experience. Update: I was invited back in for a massage to make-up for my first experience. This massage was SO much better. It was obvious that Coco is experienced and knows what she's doing. I was extremely relaxed the entire massage. Her technique was great. Took her time, would check in every now and then to make sure it was feeling good. Really focused on the areas I mentioned when filling out their form. The manager was there and I let her know that it was great and this is how I expected my first massage to be. She apologized again. I thanked her for inviting me back. She then ASKED if I would like to leave gratuity for Coco. I reminded her that I tipped during my first massage even though I didn't enjoy the experience & that since this was a make-up I didn't bring a tip. Because of that I deducted a star. I like to tip for services but I don't agree with directly asking guests if they'd like to tip. Especially under these circumstances. It was like she was pouncing on my back and was pretty aggressive with pushing instead of massaging. She also used her elbow on my spine/ bones to which I finally spoke up and asked her to just use her hands. I can't believe I'm saying this, but if my husband wasn't there, I would've walked out and asked for a refund. I've never had a massage experience like this so it was quite strange. When we were finally done, I told the front desk what happened and they offered me a $15 coupon. Came here today to try a new massage spot as they were doing a special for Valentine's Day which included a couples massage, aromatherapy scalp treatment, and a back scrub. Things didn't really get off on the right foot because they were 50 minutes late for our appointment. I appreciated that they called us to say they would be 20 minutes late, but that 20 became another 30 by the time we were actually taken in. To their credit, they apologized for the delays and gave us hot stone treatment. I don't think they've got their time management down, especially when they are running specials. The service itself was overall pretty good, but it was frankly WAY overpriced relative to many of the other places we go to in the area, which are about 1/3 the cost for the exact same service. The other issue is that the headrest isn't very comfortable and will leave you with a headache after 30 minutes face down. I honestly can't see myself coming back when we could get a much better experience for a fraction of the cost (I'm sorry for cheating on you, Lucky Massage). read more

They did work on the area I requested and catered more to my needs, I appreciate it ! The only weird thing I will say that I wanted to point out is, every door has a peep hole with no option on covering it :/ I've never seen this before at any place and it made me feel uncomfortable. The ladies were kind however to cover it with a tissue for me.. but it's just so odd & unnecessary:/ considering it's for people to see from outside the door inside the room. People are also undressing in the room too. Idk, hopefully this is something the owners fix bc I really enjoyed the massage. It wasn't something I noticed till I had to get ready for the massage. I booked Ashiatsu (the barefoot, deep-pressure style where they walk on your back) with hot stones. I asked them twice to check my booking because what I was getting was a light, generic massage nothing close to what I asked for. They ignored me, kept trying to continue with the wrong service, and I left more stressed and now in pain. This place does not listen to customers, does not deliver what is booked, and left me worse off than when I arrived. If you're looking for real Ashiatsu or any professionalism, avoid Massage 7. read more
