Just had the most amazingggg massage from Ana. She spoke English, so it was easy to communicate with her. She was receptive towards the pain I was feeling and I know she worked so hard. The beds have a warming pad I believe, so you're not cold. Only left 4/5 stars due to the noise in the reception area, towards the end of my service, one of the employees was yelling for another employee kind of jokingly, and then just walked into my massage room. I have been here twice now, and the same experience both times. -the masseuse will haggle you for a 50% or more tip at the end of the massage and make you feel guilty for anything less. They try to charge you more than their set prices if they had to do a deep massage. -the masseuse answers calls or is texting/sending voice memos throughout the massage. -they dont tell you that your card will get charged extra for using a credit card -I had other people walk in and out of the room accidentally for mistaking my room for another. This place can be 4 or 5 stars since the actual quality is good but they definitely cut you short on time. First time i got a 90 minute massage, she spent 70 minutes with me on my stomach and 10 minutes on my back. You expect 45 minutes on your stomach and 45 minutes on your back. Annoyed so i tipped accordingly. Decided to give it one more try but i should have known better. Got another 90 minute massage and it was cut short 10 minutes or so! Spent 90 percent of it on my stomach again! Annoyed when flipped over, i told her no head "massage " since she was just scratching my head/hair , she went to do my quads but she barely massaged my quads. If you call rubbing oil a "massage ". Again i tipped accordingly and she wasn't too pleased i asked for some change back. Next time on a different customer they can focus on actually giving you the full 90 minutes and evenly focus on your body. You shouldn't have to ask, it's common sense that you spend 50/50 time for front and back on a massage. Maybe 60/40. read more

Beautiful, harmonic decorations all around, water sounds, earthy vibes and a gentle smile from Grace. The interior is immaculate. I find it difficult to find a satisfactory deep tissue massage because I like extremely heavy pressure, but now my search for satisfaction is over! Top notch massage for a very reasonable price and fast booking. I called at 3 pm on a Sunday and got the appointment time I wanted for 2 hours later. I got a 90 minute massage from Grace, the owner. She was very sweet and extremely respectful of my modesty and my body, unlike what another reviewer said she supposedly experienced. Grace checked in throughout the massage about the pressure and did a fantastic job. I left with that wonderful massage-high feeling. Grace mentioned how disappointed she was by the reviewer saying they were a "happy-ending" massage place, and I can imagine how difficult that must be for a small business owner like her. Don't let that reviewer deter you from getting a massage here. A few things that I didn't mind (especially given the price) that other people might: she's the owner, so she had the phone in the room, and took very brief calls when people called to schedule a massage, but her phone was on vibrate, she spoke very softly and the calls were often less than 15 seconds long. She did also leave the room briefly to welcome a customer, but was only gone for a minute or two. For the price, I have no complaints. read more

I had a relaxing massage today on my first ever visit with masseuse Kathy. I called only 2 hours before and they were able to fit me in same day, which I appreciate because I'm dealing with some post workout soreness and had a long, tiring day today. The business has an ample free lot right up front. Inside it's clean and there's a cold water dispenser with cups available. The receptionist was polite. The massage room was private, spacious, and clean with light music in the background. The massage itself was very nice and I felt so relaxed that I almost fell asleep during the first part. I liked the long deep strokes with the forearm and deep pressure with the elbow. There was some nice stretching at the end and a delightfully hot towel. Have been using this massage place for about 5 month. I used many different massage parlors before and most of them are not worthy. Grace is absolutely honest and hardworking. A pleasure to be with. I had 2 hr massages, 1.5 hrs., 1 hr and also a body rub. I feel 100 % better and best of all they do remember you and your needs. You can explain what you want first and they will listen to you BUT you do not have to ask or explain what you need every time because they know you and remember your needs and preferences! Tugged in a small strip mall, this is a no frill massage spa. The facility is clean and welcoming. Joy was right there greeting me as soon as I walked in for my appointment. She was friendly and courteous. She showed me to the massage room which was bright and roomy. No worries, once she came in to do the treatment, she turned off the lights and put on the zen music, so it was totally relaxing. The room is decorated with paintings, screen and other items brought from China. It's simple but adds some character to the room. I had booked a deep tissue massage and asked for special attention to my shoulder and lower back. Joy's technique had a mix of acupressure in my opinion and I actually appreciated it. Her pressure was firm and steady. I brought my own blend of massage oil and cream to use and she was very accommodating. I didn't try the cold laser therapy but she did show me what it could do if I ever have acute pain and to come in for it. Overall I was very happy with her massage and service. Making online reservation was super easy. She also takes walk-ins. The spa is open 7 days a week 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM. How amazing is that? Next time you need a massage, go see Joy. read more

What I really liked was that she has an online booking system which makes it really easy to set up an appointment with her. Showing up at the massage parlor you come to a small strip mall. There's a chiropractor and another massage parlor in the same space. Make sure you go to the right one. I had some back pain which she was able to work out during our one hour deep tissue massage. We actually went a little bit over the hour which I thought was nice. My first time getting a massage and it was lovely! I called today around 10am and I was able to get a couples massage at 12pm. After arriving, two ladies at the front were very friendly and greeted us warmly. The waiting area was very clean and decorated very well. We were directed to our couples room in less than 2 minutes; no wait at all! One thing to note is that, the parking lot is very tiny, so be prepared to park along a street close by. The massage itself was great. For my first massage, I wasn't sure what to expect, but these ladies are very professional and friendly. They know what they're doing and they made sure my husband and I were comfortable the entire time. Throughout the massage, we had a little bit of small talk, which was nice. It allowed me to feel a little more comfortable. In the end it was $123 with card for a couples massage. I paid with a card, which included a $3 fee. With cash, it would be $120 flat. As a fairly serious runner, I'm a massage veteran, starting with a few years at Massage Envy and moving on to other therapists from there. I just had a 90-minute massage with Joy, and I can confidently say it was the best massage I've ever had! I opted for a deep tissue massage, and the pressure was just right. Joy's hands are incredibly strong, and she does with her fingers what others do with their elbows. While she applies firm pressure when needed, she can also be incredibly delicate. There were no clumsy slips off my back, pinched ears, etc. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I had no problem locating the business. Google Maps took me right to it, and the large sign and open door left no confusion. I booked online the night before and my appointment was confirmed within minutes. It couldn't have been easier! One thing I really enjoyed, and had never experienced, was the time she spent on my feet. She let them soak in a bucket of warm water while she worked on my head and neck, which was surreal. The original Pure Harmony does their massage using hand held light technology device to perform massage. One of the selling point. 6. Inside is a mess and looked torn down. 7. Receptionist barely speaks English. 8. The next door Thai Rose massage business told me one of their customer that happened to try them out told me they sell prostitution. 9. I have tried a few massage places in Newport and Irvine, and I can confidently say Joy is the best! My neck, shoulders and back get very sore from long hours of desk work. I think Joy quickly understood my condition even without being told. Then she tailored her approach to focus on the pain areas... She knows when and where to apply a stronger or lighter pressure so she can give you firm, but not painful massage. Massage places can overcharge you, and I definitely have had some mediocre services and felt like I overpaid in the past. This place is different; $60 for an hour is like a steal for the quality of massage you'll get. Another positive is that the place doesn't require onerous membership. Some places require 6 months - 12 months of commitment, but I find it very inconvenient. Depending on your life circumstance, there may be an occasion you want to go get massage every 2 weeks or just once in 6 months. I like the flexibility. Thank you, Joy!
