I really wanted to love this place, which is why I gave it a second chance and signed up for a membership again. Unfortunately, my experience the second time around was just as disappointing. The biggest issue for me was that the focus seemed to be more on selling memberships and expensive add-ons than on providing quality massage services. Every visit felt like there was pressure to purchase extras such as aromatherapy and other upgrades, all of which I found to be overpriced. On top of that, the pricing structure felt confusing and, at times, like there were hidden fees. The cost of services seemed to vary depending on the day of the week or the therapist, which was frustrating. I prefer straightforward, transparent pricing so I know exactly what I'm paying upfront, and that wasn't my experience here. I also wasn't impressed with the quality of the massages. The therapists were inconsistent, and after my last massage, I actually left in pain. That experience was the final reason I decided to cancel my membership. The cancellation process is where the customer service issues really became apparent. When I cancelled, I was told via text that I had one remaining massage credit to use. I signed the cancellation agreement, but admittedly (my bad) I overlooked the section stating that unused credits expire after 60 days. Three months later, I contacted the business to schedule my final massage and was informed that my credit had expired. While I acknowledge that I should have read the agreement more carefully, I was disappointed that no one mentioned the 60-day expiration when they told me I had a remaining credit. Since I had already paid for that service, I asked if they would consider honoring the credit as a courtesy. They said they would discuss it with the owner and get back to me. More than a week later, I still have not received a response. At this point, it's less about the massage credit and more about the lack of customer service. The combination of aggressive upselling, underwhelming massage quality, and poor follow-through left me feeling like the business was more focused on generating revenue than taking care of its clients. There are many massage options available, and I've personally had much better experiences elsewhere with better pricing, better service, and better results. read more

Anna really helped improve my neck pain. I strained some muscle in my neck/back and it's been tense and painful for a few weeks. Stretching and heat/ice helped a bit but it was just not going away. I booked a massage with Anna and she listened to my issue and I'm not sure if it was deep tissue or trigger points massage or a bit of both but it was exactly what I needed. Firm, targeted work on my knots. My neck strain is not completely resolved yet but the pain and stiffness is much improved. I would be happy to book with Anna again. She always asks what I'm in need of for the day, and tailors the session to it. I've had both relaxing and to get deep muscles. Why she's amazing is the fact she will listen well and provide great insight into helping you get better overall, not just after that massage. She has been giving the best advice following the visit with her notes as well as assisting teaching about different ways you can help your body(specific stretching, icing, hydrating). I've been going to the Costa Mesa location for the past two years. I've rotated between therapist (high turnover rate), but finally found one therapist who I've been happy with and hasn't left the company. Each therapist has been pretty consistent with the routine and are very communicative during the session. Scheduling is super easy online, and the front desk girls are usually friendly. Woooow. I usually go to the elements in Brea, but that therapist is a very hard to book, and has last minute canceled more times in the past six months than I've actually come in. I kept it on the schedule, knowing my work schedule could fluctuate, but saw that Sven had an opening the next morning at 1 PM. I booked it just to try it out. NO REGRETS. HOLY COW MAN. Not only did he consistently check in about pressure, he is very knowledgeable about anatomy. He was very fun to talk to, but also respected if I did not want to talk to him and wanted to sleep instead. I will definitely be returning.
