OH. MY. GOD. Got this massage at 5:15 and it's now 8:45 and I'm still thinking about how good it was. I recently moved to OC from LA and I've been trying to find a new massage place. I used to look for the hole in the wall places (cheap prices) but once my mom took me to a nicer establishment it's hard to want to go back. It was my boyfriends birthday so I did some research and booked this place for a couples massage. It was $220 (w/o tip, but including the $30 discount pp for OC residents) total - so not bad! We booked an hour massage but it's really about 50ish minutes when you include "consultation" and undressing/redressing. Our individual masseuse spoke with us about our troubled spots (both of us work with computers and play games) so they focused on our back, neck, and shoulders but also a little bit of everything. I had Phoebe and asked her to go deep pressure and WOW. SHE DID NOT DISAPPOINT. My boyfriend had never gotten a massage so he had Stephanie go light to start and then when she asked about pressure had her go a little harder. They even did a scalp massage! At the end of the massage, they gave us little cards from our masseuse explaining our troubled points and recommendations on how often we should come in. Will absolutely be back!! read more

She consistently checked on pressure adding more or less throughout the massage based on my response which I love. I may like harder pressure on my traps than on my hamstrings. Well, as I have time to sit here and wait for my spouse, my therapist Roxy was 10 minutes late and cut me off 30 mins early. I booked an hour and half for myself and my spouse. I watch my spouse get called as I'm then stuck here waiting 10 minutes in the lobby.....and......then get cut short 20 mins early! So again, I am out here waiting in the lobby for my spouse to finish getting her full massage therapy experience. I was given a little discount and I was nice enough to leave a tip for Roxy. Honestly, with the services I was provided and the quality of the massage I am disappointed and slightly regret tipping. I'll be look elsewhere for my massage experience. read more

I was a member and cancelled because my Chiropractor at Compassion Chiropractic in Irvine has client massages and is actually transparent and upfront. And if I need to be aware of anything they'll actually communicate with me beforehand. I signed the form in June to cancel at Elements and didn't use my credits until the expiration of the credits in the beginning of August. When I left that appointment in the beginning of August they told me my second massage would be $69 so I was like cool. Let's do it. I forgot my membership would be canceled the 15th of August. Because I signed the form TWO MONTHS AGO. (Would you remember? Lol) They sent me reminder messages and made sure I would be there for the second massage on The 24th. They checked me in. I got the massage. And AFTER I got the massage they told me I wasn't a member so the price would be $119. wtf. Bait and switch? Why couldn't they tell me this before hand? I'm sure they knew. Sure they dropped it $30, but the point is I tried replying to someone there and they were so strict about this And also truly didn't try and remedy it. Money isn't the issue. It's the principle. If you say it's $69 make it $69 not $89 because the front desk made a mistake. I paid for the mistake at the front desk and they tried to flip it on me. This isn't the only review like this and they keep increasing prices for half decent massages. One of the massage therapists there left and told me this place doesn't even pay the employees fairly, so if you choose to go tip the therapist well. Can't wait for the owner to respond and make some EXCUSE. Also look at the reply from the owner. Doesn't even know who the massage therapist is and is talking down on them. Isn't even trying to remedy the situation STILL. Do you really want to come to a place that uses the pandemic as an excuse to hoard money from every member? I don't think so. I will gladly enjoy a place elsewhere that communicates with their clients appropriately. You don't need a crystal ball but if you're going to have a business. You run it well and own up to it when you need to. This isn't the case here. So stay very far away. Do not recommend this business at all. read more

First impression are very important and when I called to make a reservation, I was treated nicely and was communicated with professionalism. Upon arrival, I was demonstrated that same professionalism. I went in for a couples massage and it was amazing! My wife loved every moment of it and I enjoyed myself as well. While in Cali on vaca for my birthday, the Boo semi-surprised me with a 90-min massage with aromatherapy. Reminders were sent ahead of time with instructions on arrival and check-in. I arrived 15 mins before my appointment to complete paperwork. The paperwork was thorough and included a body diagram to explain various muscle groups etc. My appointment was with Blake. He was friendly, thorough, had hella soft hands and took his time working the tightness out of my upper back...it was BAD. He communicated during the massage about pressure but not too much as I woke myself up snoring a couple times! Oh and I requested the Lavender aromatherapy. They have three options: Lavender, Eucalyptus, and Citrus. All the front desk staff and a lady I assumed was the owner or manager were all very friendly and welcoming. Blake even asked if I would like for him to wear a mask. I would definitely go again. Now I have no idea of value to cost as my experience was a gift. But I feel I got somebody's money's worth. I've been a member of Elements Massage for a couple of years up in Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley (shout out to Luz who is a gem there). I recently started coming into Costa Mesa and the quality and service is just as high. My therapist, Sven, recently left the studio, but recommended a replacement, Micki, who has been lovely. She tried an inside-the-cheek (not the technical term obviously) massage for my jaw pain which really helped. If you're looking for a quality massage around here I would be happy to recommend you give this place a shot. read more

So while this place is definitely still one of the best places in Orange County to get a massage from what I tried, I found a place that more suits my personal needs that I went there. I still think the pricing is very good for the quality you get, especially if you get deep tissue massage. For better or worse, every therapist I tried here has almost the exact same technique just with different levels of pressure. Also other people have mentioned but this place heavily relies on the subscription membership. You get monthly discounts there which is great. But be sure to commit to staying. It can be kind of a drag to actually fully cancel your membership. First you have to put your membership on hold for up to a certain period of time (1-3 months) and only then can you cancel your membership and you still have to go through one pay period to have it be fully cancelled. Other than that, you still get good quality and the front desk is always very nice and accommodating. read more

DO not use this location, the reception desk supposedly booked an appointment this morning for 9am & didn't send any type of confirmation. They called me at 9:30am asking if I was still coming... being I don't live next door, it was a clear no & I asked why they didn't confirm or even call the day before. The reception desk apologized for their error & I said I would call back to reschedule. Nothing was said about charging me $44.50 for a missed appointment. At 12:45pm I receive a text saying that they are charging my card! Upon calling them immediately Kim answered & after I explained the situation she kept repeating herself about how the appointment was scheduled at 9am. (Obviously I already knew that by this time as I had just explained it) She also said that she's not the manager & not authorized ro reverse anything. Good luck getting your money back & actually getting an appointment set up. Unless the manager contacts me tomorrow & refunds this, I'm going to turn it in as a fraudulent charge & turn them into the better business bureau. This is unacceptable & according to their other reviews this isn't the first time this behavior has occurred. Shame on me for not reading their reviews! read more

The establishment seems a bit skeptical. When I initially set up the plan I was told it would basically be pre paying for massages and as a result it would end up being cheaper. I normally get cupping and that's what I though I paid for but apparently that's extra which is fine. I just feel as if it wasn't properly explained. The cancellation policy is a bit ridiculous they charge you half the amount of the actual massage which feels insane to me. The actual masseuse was phenomenal and deserves 5 stars alone. After frequently Massage Envy for nearly 5 years, I needed a change and a friend recommended this location of Elements Massage. She specifically recommended Seiko and, let me tell you, she did not disappoint. It was by far the most beneficial and therapeutic massage that I've ever received. I booked a 90 minute massage and asked her to focus on my back and shoulders, where I tend to hold a lot of tension. I came away sore but ultimately my muscles were so happy. The pressure was firm but still relaxing and she was very easy to communicate with. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful prior to my visit. They do online booking but followed up via text to ensure Seiko and I would be a good match. Having been disappointed in Massage Envy after being a member there, I wasn't quite sure I wanted to do another monthly membership but Elements has me reconsidering. I love the aromatherapy oil...the citrus oil smells amazing, the owner goes above and beyond to clarify any miscommunications, which I really appreciated. I also recommend the hot stones...they are great for tension. I tried the cbd oil, but I didn't notice significant differences after...so I wouldn't recommend it...but other than that I totally recommend this spa and it's services! Great place to relax.
