5 stars isn't enough for this review! They exceed my expectations every time! First off, the front desk is awesome! Second, Alexis is the best massage therapist I've ever had! I return to to every month for a massage and the last two times I went in she recommended trying out two different type of massages that she now offers. I highly recommend trying the suction cupping and the hot stone massage if you work out a lot or work on your feet. I can't wait to go back next month! read more

My favorite massage spot. My therapist really listens to what I need. Medium to firm when you ask for it. I need lots of help. Thanks, Ezzie! I finally found someone who can handle my knots! read more

Jessica is great! She listens and is able to apply just the right amount of pressure. I love the aromatherapy oil...the citrus oil smells amazing, the owner goes above and beyond to clarify any miscommunications, which I really appreciated. I also recommend the hot stones...they are great for tension. I tried the cbd oil, but I didn't notice significant differences after...so I wouldn't recommend it...but other than that I totally recommend this spa and it's services! Great place to relax. Jessica is amazing! read more

I almost don't want to say who my massage therapist was because I'm afraid her schedule will be completely impacted, but Allison is a healer. I'm not a person who likes touch from a stranger, but when it's Valentine's Day you go do things for the sake of the person you're celebrating. I had no idea the amount of healing and self care I'd experience! Allison is truly skilled and knowledgeable about her therapy. I felt that my experience was completely tailored to my needs even when our consultation time was so short. I will be back. Take a chance on adding the cupping! Thank you so much, Allison! read more

If you're looking for a place to take your money, This is it. I specifically contacted for trigger point and they didn't really talk into it even though it says on their website. I needed deep tissue and 3 times I encouraged my masseuse to do harder technique but she was soft hands the whole time. read more

Yes the membership is kinda pricey but if you come Tuesday or Wednesday it's worthwhile. The add-ons are great - from Himalayan salts , hot stones , CBD or aromatherapy. Honestly this place gets 6 out of 5 solely because of Ezzie . Truth be told shes the only reason i still have a membership. The front desk gals are awesome so quick and responsive. But Ezzie , let me tell ya ... she makes you feel beyond comfortable and gets the job done . Her guide dog "Woof Woof" is an absolute angel . I always book an hour ; but now I'm thinking 90 minutes cause it just goes so fast . Its like that saying time seems to go fast in good company... thank you Elements for having such an amazing masseuse!! read more

So many knots! I think I have a problem...Maybe it's work or maybe it's cause I don't stretch properly. Or maybe it's cause I slouch, but my upper back is really tense and I feel as if I'm shrinking. Man, growing old is hard. Anyway, for my (insert age here) I got a gift certificate to all these massage & spas, one of them was Elements. I booked online for an appointment one evening & the place was packed! Dang, I thought, this place must be very good if there are this many people waiting for a massage. My massage therapist was Kathleen & she was amazing. Very gentle but firm on the knots in my shoulders, upper back & neck. She said I needed to stretch more & after my massage she gave me instructions on how to further loosen up my muscles. Wow. What great recommendations! I will have to come back here to try their other services, but if you do decide to come here, make sure to book with Kathleen! read more

Been coming here for about 3 years. Therapists come and go but I have my favorites. If you're reluctant to try a new person read the reviews. They're generally pretty accurate. Try to book at least a couple days in advance. You can check their website to see who's available before calling. Or you can book directly online. Rooms are quiet, nice vibe, clean, don't have to wear a mask if vaccinated. Staff is prompt answering phone, always courteous. Have spoken to several different front desk attendants over the years, they're always kind and happy to help. The price increased post lockdown so probably won't be able to come as often. I hope they offer discounts as often as possible. Wish I could afford a massage every week! read more

I love getting a massage, but I hardly ever get one because of the hassle associated w/ locker rooms, showers, sauna..etc..etc. I loved that with elements I was in and out in an hour, and walked away relaxed and rejuvenated. Since they don't have the overhead of a fancy spa, they are able to keep the prices adorable for moms who are on a budget. With their wellness program, moms can save even more! My therapist, Desiree, was able to work out all the knots in my neck, and it was truly one of the best massages I have had. Highly recommend - you won't be disappointed!! read more

I finally used my birthday gift card and I am so glad I did. The receptionist was so helpful and personable. The building was very clean and brought a great energy to one's experience. Most of all, my massage therapist, Jessikah, was absolutely amazing. I left my session with no pain and feeling so much better from the soreness from my race. I will definitely be back and ask for her. read more

Very relaxing environment and professional employees all around, makes coming here a great experience every time!

I just wanted to say how much I love coming to Elements for a nice and relaxing massage. I've received work from many of the therapist there and can say that all of them are really good in their own way. Rosie has nice and nurturing touch and keeps consistent pressure throughout her massage. She is a great 'Go To' for deeper & specific work. Alexis is also really good too. She is precise with her work and gives special attention to working out knots! Last but not least, Ahlimah, whom I saw last, has a great flowing touch that helped reduce my tension and left me feeling very floaty after. read more

The other day I stopped in, 1st time my appointment was with Chelsea. I was asked the usual important and profession questions what brings you in for a massage...do you have any problem areas etc? Let her know where the knot was and lets just say Chelsea did an amazing job! So much that I booked 2 additional appointments now that's a 1st! The shop was super clean, very modern, decorated great very zen and the STAFF at the reception desk is awesome! Happy Holidays & see you soon! read more

Last min massage appointment and I took advantage of their 30$ coupon for new customers. The waiting area was nice and the front desk staff was there to explain the way Elements work. My therapist was informative and offered to focus on my problem areas. It's pricey no way you look at it, even with 30$ off. This is the only reason they didn't get 5 stars. Great place though. read more

Elements is a subscription based massage parlor--$70/month and you get one massage a month. Their customer service is very good; the people working the phones are very pleasant and they are flexible if you miss getting your massage one month (at least they were with me when I missed my last months massage--I did it the following month). My only real concern is that the massages are not good. My first masseuse started 10 minutes late--apologized and said she would run late to make up for it; and then finished 5 minutes early. The massage itself was pretty mediocre too. My second and last massage was pretty worthless. No pressure whatsoever and I was hoping it would end about half way through. There are a million massage parlors in Costa Mesa, Santa Ana, garden grove, etc. they are 50-60/hour max (or much cheaper) and many have great yelp reviews. read more

Love the relaxing ambiance! Everyone I met there was so nice, it was a pleasure. My amazing massage was the best I have ever had anywhere. That's really saying something. My girl, Stephanie was so attentive, so knowledgeable and professional concerning all my issues. I left there so relaxed. Thank you so much for making me feel so much better. I literally floated out of there. If you want a GREAT massage go see STEPHANIE. Thanks again! I'll be back real soon!! read more

Costa Mesa Elements is the best massage place in So Cal! I've been a regular monthly member here since 2018 and I can't say enough great things. They are clean and professional, and very communicative with appointments and scheduling (via text too!). There are so many great therapists and treatments here -- Kat and Noriko (prenatal!) are my favorite. The Himalayan Salt stone add-on is worth it and the prices are very reasonable. The value for money is the best! During covid, they've been extremely safe and cautious and have gone above and beyond following all guidelines. Thank you for your excellent service!!! read more

I requested a massage for this afternoon at 2pm. I was contacted to reschedule for 1pm, which I agreed to. I then got another call to reschedule for 1:15pm with another therapist, which I agreed to. I now received another call cancelling my appointment because the therapists feel that it's best to wait 6 weeks after giving birth to receive a massage. They also added in that it would affect my breastfeeding ability due to fluid drainage. They didn't care to ask if my doctor cleared me, if I am still open for it, or even if I'm breastfeeding and am even affected by their statement. I already lost most of the baby weight and don't even look like I gave birth, and I feel alleviated from my childbirth pain. I've already been cleared for light exercises even. I wouldn't be offended if it was company policy, but it is not... simply their therapists opinion. Here is a link on their own site where they promote postpartum massages as soon as the client feels ready: https://elementsmassage.com/rockville-centre/blog/everything-you-need-to-know-about-postpartum-massage I know it's the day before Christmas Eve and maybe they prefer to not take appointments, but this is not OK. read more

Elements Massage in Costa Mesa is the best massage spot I've been to in Orange County. I have been going on and off for years and have also tried other locations/places, but this one has the best customer service and masseuses. Haley, in particular, has been a huge help in fixing my shoulder and back problems and I highly recommend her! read more

This started out ok until I wanted to cancel my membership. They told me my account would be frozen until I wanted to start again, which I never did. Then they just start charging me $100 a month again until I called. I was told by "Kevin" the assistant manger that my membership would be canceled. They made me fill out a cancellation form and charged me another $100 the very next month. Then "Chip" told me they didn't have to refund me me anything.Don't fall victim to the membership plan, worse that cell phone companies I'll make sure to tell my friends how this franchise makes its money. read more

Don't sign up for the monthly package unless you have no plans of cancelling. They don't cancel you when you request it and you end up paying additional months payment that you shouldn't. On top of that you can't verbally cancel, you must email it, but when you email them they don't respond!!! Terrible service. I will never recommend this place to anyone. read more

I had a tough experience. I booked a massage on the phone, and was looking forward to it. I came early as requested, filled out my paperwork, met with the therapist, undressed and was waiting on the table for what seemed like a long time. The therapist, who was very kind, came in to let me know that because I had put that I have cancer on my forms, she "wasn't allowed to touch me and that the front desk wanted to speak to me." When I got to the front desk, I was simply asked if I wanted to rebook. No one asked what stage of cancer I have, or apologized for what had just happened, just told me that their policy was to cover health issues on the phone when booking (which so obviously did not happen in my case, or I would not have come to this appointment) and that only certain therapists can work with a client who has cancer (rather gruffly and with no understanding). Instead of helping me with my stress, I left and cried in my car, feeling like a pariah. read more

My husband and I have been members here for years and have always enjoyed massages here. My husband sees Seiko, and she is great for deep pressure. Highly recommend! read more

This is the second Elements location I have been to, and it is just as great as the one in Tempe. What I like about this location is that they do a lot of communication via text message. When I booked my appointment, I got a text with information about COVID-19 protocols. This was very helpful in preparing before my appointment. Also, as my masseuse had a cancellation, I was asked if I wanted to come in earlier. They even sent me a photo of the gratuity guide when I asked. So helpful! The staff is very nice and friendly. I have had two massages here so far, and each one was with a different masseuse. Both were great! They communicated with me during the massage very well. I felt confident that they really knew what they were doing and that they wanted to help me feel better. I highly recommend this Elements Massage location! read more

I love this massage place, they are very skillful in their massages. They will give the massage of your life. I was sore 2-3 days after a single hour of deep tissue massage. Although I moaned and groaned, it was only out of ecstasy. I am a masochist, and enjoy deep discomfort while getting a massage. So if you want your money's worth come here. My wife is a dainty little thing when it comes to massage and almost crumbled underneath the masseuse hands. Thankfully the masseuse asked my wife to make sure she was ok and the wife gladly took the opportunity to turn the pressure down. The environment is very clean and friendly and it worth it to book ahead if you want a weekend time frame. read more

This was one of, if not the best massage I've had on the west coast. Since moving to California 5 years ago, I haven't found a massage therapist as good as my one in New Jersey where I grew up, but Emily at Elements was awesome. We had a thorough conversation prior to the massage about my problem areas so she knew where to work and where to avoid. She was very communicative about the pressure throughout the massage and adjusted for me as I wished. It was literally perfect. I often get cold no matter what but before the massage Emily asked if I wanted the table heat on (yes!) and they have a nice blanket on top so I felt comfortable and relaxed the whole time. They had nice, soft music playing in the background with candles and some sort of scent that really made the whole experience amazing. The girls at the front desk were very warm and welcoming when walking in. They greeted me immediately, got me set up with the paperwork and with a glass of water. However, I will say they were a little pushy at the end after my massage to join their wellness program. While I don't wish to sign up for a variety of personal reasons (which I didn't feel the need to disclose to them after being asked multiple times to sign up), I do see the value in the program if you are a frequent massage goer. Regardless of not signing up for the program, I will definitely be back to see Emily as overall it was a 5-star experience. read more

Elements Massage was a vendor at my company Health Faire. I received a card for $40 off my first massage. After my second visit, I decided to become a member. I like that they only require a 30 day notice to stop service and that they have options for putting accounts on hold. I consider myself to be sound sensitive and it took a few visits for me to get used to the sound of the air conditioning and the music. Luckily, during each massage, I've been able to request that the music be lowered. I've been trying to see a different masseuse to know my option and check out the different styles. Heated tables have three settings: High, Med and Low. So speak up and be comfortable. I have seen Jessica, Noriko and Adrian so far. Jessica did some deep work for me on my upper back, as that is where I carry most of my stress. Noriko, I wish all others would learn to move and arrange the sheets as well as she does. Noriko spent some time on my head and scalp which I love and upper back work was excellent. Adrian, really worked my shoulders, yet amazingly the next day I wasn't as sore as I expected. I would see each of them again. read more

I came to Elements Massage for the first time today and had an amazing experience! My massage therapist was Sarah and she did a phenomenal job- she made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire massage and applied just the right amount of pressure. The place itself is very clean and I enjoyed how they truly tried to create the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing massage- the relaxing music in the back, the dimmed lights, and the aromatic smells all throughout the facility. I especially appreciated that Sarah took the time to speak with me after and provide her recommendations on how best to take care of my body. I will definitely be coming back here when I need a massage again! read more

Really great massages and totally understandable with needs and expectations. Had an issue with one of their policies, but that have agreed to correct the error and were helpful.. Eventually. I just got back from a fantastic massage with Esmi. She pinpointed all the trouble areas, and found sore areas and knots I didn't even know I had. Very thorough. She didn't seem rushed and really seemed to care about getting you to feel better! Sweet person as well. I signed up for the membership as it is a good deal for the quality of massage and it will force me to take better care of my wellness! I have been to some cheaper places, but the massages were not even worth the cheap price. I highly recommend Elements! read more

I have been a client here for almost 5 years...And I plan on being a client for the next 5 to 50 years! The staff are beyond superb - they are professional, considerate, and always willing to do whatever it takes to make every experience a great experience! The location is quite easy to access, and there is always parking available. Inside, it is very clean and relaxing - a perfect place to come and rejuvenate! Lastly, the therapists are the best I have ever had. While I don't go to other places and may be a little biased as such, I can't imagine a more skilled team of therapists being found anywhere else! read more

I REALLY needed a massage and it was by luck that I was handed a pamphlet for this new place in Costa Mesa that was offering a $39 special for 55-minutes. It was the universe telling me that I deserved one. Booking was super easy. Within one phone call, the friendly receptionist made Jaime and I an appointment. I wanted a deep tissue and she assured me that they had someone perfect for me. Once I got there, it was super easy to find. The directions they give are super clear, even for this idiot that gets lost around his own house. It's on the corner of Harbor and Adams in the shopping center with CVS. Once you walk in, you're greeted, sat in some comfy chairs and then made to fill out out some paperwork. Standard and simple. The place was super clean- probably because they had only been open a week, but I was impressed. The decor was very modern and the chairs were plush and the couches were really soft. We were the only two people in the waiting room, I guess they stagger appointments so it's not a crazy mess, but they do offer walk-ins, so maybe some times will be busier than others. We came on a Sunday at 1PM and it was quiet. Just the way I like it. My masseuse was an awesome lady named Chana (pronounced Shawna). She led me to the room, talked me through the procedures and then told me to take off any or all of my clothes. I opted to keep the undies on, but layed down on a padded massage table with some soft linens. The room was sort of small, dimly lit and there was quiet, zen-like music playing in the background. I could have fallen asleep (and almost did a couple of times.) She got into some crazy places in my back with her elbows I think. It was deep tissue alright, and I couldn't help from laughing because I'm super ticklish (I'm not the ideal massage client). She was extremely patient and I tried to hold in my giggling as much as I could. I almost lost it on my knees and ribs, but she got me through it. The 55-minute massage felt like 10. I can see how people can easily stay for 80-110 minutes. I left feeling like I was in nice euphoric trance. She told me to drink lots of water and eat this piece of chocolate to keep my grounded. She didn't have to tell me twice. She even gave me some tips to keep some of my muscles stretched out using a tennis ball. As I'm writing this, I'm actually rolling one under my foot (see, I listen.) I liked my experience so much, I'm going back in four-weeks. It's not going to be as cheap, but they have that $49 for 55-minutes for first-timers still going. I'd recommend that if you need a quick fix. Word of wisdom- deep tissue feels great, but then can get really sore later. Just make sure you drink a ton of water and you'll be fine. I can't wait for my next one. read more

Big shout out to Melody, who is by far the best massage therapist I've come across. She listened to what I asked for to a T! She cared about what was wrong with my body and focused on making it better. Which to me, is what massage should be all about, but for some reason is hard to find. I will definitely be back because of the awesome job she did. Front office were also great. Thank you! read more
