I booked an appointment at the same time as my friend for 2pm for lymphatic drainage massages. I appreciated that I received a confirmation email and texts to verify the appointment. Then when we arrived they checked us in asked if either of us needed to use the restroom and got me started as I was ready. I must say the entire facility was very clean, beautiful and calming. I also enjoyed the lymphatic drainage massage the pressure was light but also like a deep tissue in certain areas. read more

I left with a headache and smelling like old lady Tiger Balm mixed with crayons, and I couldn't get home fast enough to shower and take ibuprofen. I booked a 90-minute deep tissue massage and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. The room had a strong crayon-like smell that became even stronger in the face cradle, there was a constantly ticking clock, and despite asking four times to avoid my neck, it was still worked on. When I asked about turning off the clock, the front desk came in to clarify what I was referring to and left the door open while I was undressed on the massage table, which was very uncomfortable... Her stomach was also growling right next to my ear for much of the massage, which wasn't her fault, but it made it difficult to relax. The massage itself did not feel like a deep tissue massage. My quads, IT bands, and core muscles weren't worked on at all, and at times it felt like she was just feeling around. At one point, she rubbed my arms back and forth with so much friction that it felt like a Boy Scout trying to start a fire with a stick rather than an actual massage technique, and it almost felt like rug burn. The massage oil was another major issue. It had a strong medicinal scent, left a mild tingling and burning sensation on my skin, and wasn't hydrating at all. I left feeling worse than when I arrived, which is the exact opposite of what I expect after a massage. read more

Came here because I needed to use up some ClassPass credits and I was not disappointed. For 33 credits (or the equivalent of $69) I got a 60 minute massage and a mint scalp massage add on. Excellent value for OC massage spas imo. It sits kind of in between a no frills and a more luxury option, but I would definitely say if you're looking for something more on the high end vibe this is probably not it. This was fine with me as I was truly just looking for a quality, relaxing massage, not a Burke Williams day spa type vibe. My massage therapist took great care of me and took her time, it didn't feel rushed. It was definitely what I needed and I would come back. read more

Scheduled an appointment for 5pm, was rescheduled for 6, I was there several minutes early, waited at least 15 minutes, for the masseuse, she was just finishing with another customer (which I prefer to not be the case because I require deep tissue and it requires someone well rested. Nonetheless, I went ahead. Right away I could tell the masseuse was in a hurry (I have had dozens for massages in my life..so you learn) and then suddenly there was a knock on the door- "from the boss" which as it turned out was her way of saying the massage was over- the PROBLEM is, I made an appointment for a full hour- not a minute less! and the massage was over because I was sandwiched between the man before me and the man after- so bad for me, bad for the customers after me, bad for the masseuse, and bad for business! In addition to all this nonsense, I was overcharged ($10.00) for the short service with a masseuse that was clearly tired and stressed because management is running the spa like a Denny's restaurant- get them in- get them out! Lastly, the manager clearly has little to no concern as to the quality of fair/agreed upon delivery of the massage as agreed. There are massage salons all over town- never would I return. read more

One of the best message I have ever had. I will be 100% going back! I had a deep tissue 55 minute massage. She had the perfect pressure and did my entire body. read more

went for the first time to get a sports massage with Linda. i would say the massage was 85% amazing but the 15% head massage left me with tons of knots in my hair. i've received head massages with my curly hair and never had to work out knots afterwards. if you go and have long hair or curly hair, be aware. the head massage was a bit too long and a bit too rough in a weird pattern... business looked clean though and in a nice business park. read more

I have been to dolce wellness spa on a few different occasions now and I have enjoyed every visit I have here! The staff is kind and friendly, and the space is clean and comfortable. My first two visits were couples massages I took my boyfriend my first visit, and my mom the second. Both of them really enjoyed their massages! This last time I actually decided to try their European facial and absolutely loved it! It was so relaxing, the hour flew by! The make sure you are hydrated when you leave, and you can tell they care about their quality of service and their clients. Highly recommend this place. They also have incredible pricing which makes them extra special in my book. read more

First time ever getting a facial, I'm glad I came here. They greeted me so nicely, they're friendly and nice! The ambiance felt cozy, welcoming, and zen. I'd like to come back and tell my friends about it :) read more

this is my 3rd massage here. Unfortunately I just didn't like the masseuse today. she didn't use enough oil and it felt like she was just trying to save oil and use 1 drop at a time. it made it feel uncomfortable because there was a lot of friction. it was a deep tissue massage but she wouldn't focus on my lower back after i let her know i had sciatica and needed more pressure there. she spent a lot of time on my shoulders and legs instead. hopefully it was a fluke and i will try it again later to see if it was better. this is the only massage where i felt like i still needed to go get another one just for my lower back because i still had unresolved knots in my lower back and hips. read more

I have come here a few times for a Swedish massage and every single time it has been amazing. The woman working in the front desk is very pleasant and sweet and every masseuse I've had has been great. Very cute spa and very thoughtful and all of the things that they do. Would highly recommend coming here. read more

I have come here a few times and I saw Linda for a relaxing Swedish massage first very sweet and good technique. And then I had the worst shoulder pain in the world and I knew it was a huge knot that was pinched under my shoulder blades and I saw a new therapist Kris he was sooooo good!! I couldn't even lift my left arm before his massage and it's been a day now and I feel like I'm almost 100%!!! It's a miracle tbh. He said he was new so I'll definitely be going back! read more

Extremely disappointing and unethical experience. I came in to redeem a $150 paid gift voucher that was gifted to me on July 5. There is no expiration date stated anywhere on the voucher. I was flatly refused service and told that the business has a new owner who "doesn't want to pay out of pocket" for vouchers sold by the previous owner. I was also told the voucher was "expired," despite no expiration terms ever being disclosed. To make matters worse, instead of taking responsibility, the new owner gave me the contact information of the previous owner and told me to resolve the issue myself. This is entirely inappropriate and not how legitimate businesses operate. Denying a paid gift certificate due to a change in ownership is not the customer's responsibility and reflects extremely poor and unethical business practices. No service, credit, or refund was offered. This experience demonstrates a complete lack of professionalism and accountability. I strongly caution others against purchasing gift certificates here, as there is no guarantee they will be honored. This matter will be escalated to the appropriate consumer protection agencies read more

Worst massage ever. Very disappointed. There's no skills and the masseuse didn't really know how to do it. The wrong technique messed up shoulder joints badly. The worst of the worst experience. Complete waste of money and time. read more

I have been a frequent customer at Dolce Wellness Spa, specifically for deep tissue massage focusing on the neck, shoulder, and back. I always ask for Nikita as my masseuse as the pressure she uses always leaves me more than satisfied. With the daily stress of every day life, these deep tissue massages with Nikita have enhanced the pain in my back and reduces the ongoing tension I have in those areas. Parking here is plenty as it's shared with other businesses, and the ladies at the front desk are always friendly upon entering and leaving. I love how clean this spa feels. read more

Today was my third experience here found through classpass. Every visit, I am amazed a small spa would have such refreshing, rejuvenating and relieving massages. I'm surprised more people don't know about this hidden gem! I booked the prenatal massage with Kim, my first ever prenatal massage. I was so happy with how knowledgeable Kim was to pregnancy needs, and she explained to me all the do's and don't's of massages while pregnant, things to look out for elsewhere that would be damaging to my body, and how to relieve my aches at home. For the prenatal massages, they have body pillows for side laying and focus mainly on the neck/shoulder/head + upper back + arms and legs only and avoid the lower abdomen/back area specifically to avoid harm. This was soooo delightful and helpful for my pregnancy aches, Kim was fantastic and a pro! I will be back on her table plenty of times again! :) read more

Ive been going to this place for years but now their massages are just terrible. Its over price massage for no technique. I used to get a Swedish massage here. Now it feels like theyre just rubbing lotion all over you. So I switched over to deep tissue. My first time getting a deep tissue was great. The most recent deep tissue, was nothing but elbow and forearms. Not exaggerating. It was so odd cause the massuse would use my arm to pull herself up. My arm eventually fell off the bed and when she switched sides, my arm was crushed against her body and she didn't bother moving my arm. She even stood on my back with zero warning. Never had someone do that. She asked if it was okay. Im like ma'am you're already standing on me. She hurt my tailbone and I couldnt breathe. I also asked for no feet and she massaged it anyways. She also didn't wipe me down so I got home all slippery. So this is the last time I'll go here. Save your money. A $20 reflexology massage has better technique than this place. read more

I had a Swedish massage with Linda today. I was able to schedule this massage on the same day, I made the appointment through Yelp and they were super responsive. My neck and shoulders have been so tight after a lot of school work and Linda could totally feel it on my body. She was super nice and attentive. I ended up adding cupping during the session because of all the knots on my back and Linda was accommodating. I'm happy I came and I'd like to come back to check out their other services! read more

First time here today and did deep tissue. Kim who works tues/thu was my masseuse and she worked out my aches. She also stretched me during and ending and it was so good. My body feels tons better. Definitely coming back and getting a long massage than 60mins read more

Very cute spa, and very friendly ladies that work here. I personally would not come here again unfortunately. The nice lady who did my massage asked where my main focus area was, which I told her my hips and lower back. I'm not sure if there was a misunderstanding 2x but those areas never got touched. I also think that she thought it was a longer massage because she spent 80% of the hour on one side of my body and only 20% (just a few minutes) on the other side of my body. I was confused that it ended so early considering only one half of me was massaged lol.... It still felt good, although the pressure was very light even after saying I prefer deep pressure, but overall it was not at all what I needed/asked for. read more

I had the most incredible experience with Santa as my masseuse. She was so intuitive with what needed attention and worked to realign my body and release all the tension. She has a gift and I will continue to go to her! read more

My boyfriend treated me to a massage at this spa for my birthday. Neither of us had been here before but many of his friends were regular customers at this spa. The front desk staff were kind and friendly and took us back to our couples room once we checked in. The massage was relaxing, however at certain times it felt like the masseuse was rushing to get through the session. Which is not something you want when you're trying to relax lol otherwise, it was good and she was able to get the knots on my back loose. One thing that stood out to me is that at the end of the session most spas will offer tea or water, but they didn't offer anything. (I also saw on yelp afterwards that they did offer tea before ) They had a water dispenser there so we got some water ourselves. read more

This place is by far one of the best spas in OC. Everytime I've came, I'm always treated so nicely and feel so comfortable. The massage therapists are all really good and very friendly. The space is very clean and they offer a lot of services. Kim gave me a really good upper body massage. She understood my body really well and got rid of a lot of knots on my right shoulder which has been bothering me. I felt so good right after Kim's massage. If you ever book an appointment here, ask for Kim. She is amazing! read more

I've been here a few times for various treatments and I have to say their massages are top notch! Kim is a great masseuse, I had the 75 minute Swedish massage with her and the whole time she applied great pressure and took great care, focusing on areas I requested. Quality is up to par with 5 star places in the area but for an even better rate. I cannot recommend this Dolce enough. read more

I love this place. I found it thru class pass and my first experience ever was very relaxing and the massage felt great. I bought a massage as a gift to my mom and she loved it so much she then bought one for my dad who also loved it. Thank goodness for Dolce Wellness Spa! In celebration of a friend's birthday, I was looking for a spa location that could accommodate a party of 3 and I am SO GLAD I came across Dolce Wellness. They made inquiring and scheduling quick and simple by being available via text--I was able to book for 3 European Facials within a couple hours of finding this place via Yelp! (And extra plus is that the prices are extremely reasonable! Woohoo!) The spa is tucked away in this business plaza right behind John Wayne Airport, but don't let that discourage you from coming. The staff were all wonderfully welcoming, patient, and attentive. I felt so relaxed throughout the service and was so happy with my decision to book here. Two others in my party experienced their first facial and they had similar remarks of feeling relaxed and really cared for in their problem areas. The beautician helping me even gave me some advice for how to take care of my skin long-term. All in all, I would highly recommend trying out Dolce Wellness Spa for your skincare and massage therapy needs! I can't wait to find an excuse to come back in! read more

Kim just gave me one of the BEST Swedish messages of my life! I almost wanted to ask for less pressure because my back is sensitive and has tons of knots, but I am so glad I didn't! Facial I recommend. We searched up on a Sunday last minute for facial availability and they were they only ones who accommodated for my daughter and myself. That's is definitely a plus. Also I have been to facial spa in Hawaii and Mexico and did not get a high level of relaxation during a facial. Their staff knows what they are doing and well experienced. My daughter loved it. The service time for massage includes room setup and take down. I was charged for a 45 min massage when the actual service was 30. I have come here a few times and never complained as I thought I made an error in the time but I made sure to monitor the clock today and when I asked to be charged for a 30 min massage instead, they told me no and that the time included setup and take down. That is not fair business. Be truthful with your services and website descriptions read more

This place is an absolute hidden gem tucked away in the many office spaces in Costa Mesa. I discovered this spa through ClassPass and I have been going every month for a whole year. Their staff is warm, accommodating and friendly. If it's your first time here, you would fill up a form and let them know about your allergies, skin condition, scent preferences. They offer many services like manicure & pedicure but I usually come here for the facials. It is a very zen like environment and I usually feel relaxed, my face is clean & glowing. Today I went for the European Hydrating Facial. I did an add on of their Microdermabrasion through ClassPass. A La carte it's $30. When you enter the facial room, you will have to change into their towel, so you can me more comfortable. The facial is refreshing and hydrating and Olivia, the esthetician explains all the steps and benefits of each cleanser, toner & mask. My favorite is the LED light mask & and the Egyptian rose mask towards the end. All their products are Dermalogica & Eminence Organic skincare. She also ends her spa session with an affirmation for self-love which I appreciate. We all need to take time out of our busy lives to take care of ourselves. I will definitely recommend to friends and family and will definitely be back! read more

Truly a horrible experience coming here. I got the scalp massage that was supposed to include hair oil and washing and was really just a dry scalp scratching that lasted an entire hour.
