went for the first time to get a sports massage with Linda. i would say the massage was 85% amazing but the 15% head massage left me with tons of knots in my hair. i've received head massages with my curly hair and never had to work out knots afterwards. if you go and have long hair or curly hair, be aware. the head massage was a bit too long and a bit too rough in a weird pattern... business looked clean though and in a nice business park. read more

Excellent value for OC massage spas imo. It sits kind of in between a no frills and a more luxury option, but I would definitely say if you're looking for something more on the high end vibe this is probably not it. This was fine with me as I was truly just looking for a quality, relaxing massage, not a Burke Williams day spa type vibe. Extremely disappointing and unethical experience. I came in to redeem a $150 paid gift voucher that was gifted to me on July 5. There is no expiration date stated anywhere on the voucher. I was flatly refused service and told that the business has a new owner who "doesn't want to pay out of pocket" for vouchers sold by the previous owner. I was also told the voucher was "expired," despite no expiration terms ever being disclosed. To make matters worse, instead of taking responsibility, the new owner gave me the contact information of the previous owner and told me to resolve the issue myself. This is entirely inappropriate and not how legitimate businesses operate. Denying a paid gift certificate due to a change in ownership is not the customer's responsibility and reflects extremely poor and unethical business practices. No service, credit, or refund was offered. This experience demonstrates a complete lack of professionalism and accountability. I strongly caution others against purchasing gift certificates here, as there is no guarantee they will be honored. This matter will be escalated to the appropriate consumer protection agencies read more

this is my 3rd massage here. Unfortunately I just didn't like the masseuse today. she didn't use enough oil and it felt like she was just trying to save oil and use 1 drop at a time. it made it feel uncomfortable because there was a lot of friction. it was a deep tissue massage but she wouldn't focus on my lower back after i let her know i had sciatica and needed more pressure there. she spent a lot of time on my shoulders and legs instead. hopefully it was a fluke and i will try it again later to see if it was better. this is the only massage where i felt like i still needed to go get another one just for my lower back because i still had unresolved knots in my lower back and hips. read more

And then I had the worst shoulder pain in the world and I knew it was a huge knot that was pinched under my shoulder blades and I saw a new therapist Kris he was sooooo good!! Today was my third experience here found through classpass. Every visit, I am amazed a small spa would have such refreshing, rejuvenating and relieving massages. I'm surprised more people don't know about this hidden gem! I booked the prenatal massage with Kim, my first ever prenatal massage. I was so happy with how knowledgeable Kim was to pregnancy needs, and she explained to me all the do's and don't's of massages while pregnant, things to look out for elsewhere that would be damaging to my body, and how to relieve my aches at home. For the prenatal massages, they have body pillows for side laying and focus mainly on the neck/shoulder/head + upper back + arms and legs only and avoid the lower abdomen/back area specifically to avoid harm. Ive been going to this place for years but now their massages are just terrible. Its over price massage for no technique. I used to get a Swedish massage here. Now it feels like theyre just rubbing lotion all over you. So I switched over to deep tissue. My first time getting a deep tissue was great. The most recent deep tissue, was nothing but elbow and forearms. Not exaggerating. It was so odd cause the massuse would use my arm to pull herself up. My arm eventually fell off the bed and when she switched sides, my arm was crushed against her body and she didn't bother moving my arm. She even stood on my back with zero warning. Never had someone do that. She asked if it was okay. Im like ma'am you're already standing on me. She hurt my tailbone and I couldnt breathe. I also asked for no feet and she massaged it anyways. She also didn't wipe me down so I got home all slippery. So this is the last time I'll go here. Save your money. A $20 reflexology massage has better technique than this place. read more

Very cute spa, and very friendly ladies that work here. I personally would not come here again unfortunately. The nice lady who did my massage asked where my main focus area was, which I told her my hips and lower back. I'm not sure if there was a misunderstanding 2x but those areas never got touched. I also think that she thought it was a longer massage because she spent 80% of the hour on one side of my body and only 20% (just a few minutes) on the other side of my body. I was confused that it ended so early considering only one half of me was massaged lol.... It still felt good, although the pressure was very light even after saying I prefer deep pressure, but overall it was not at all what I needed/asked for. read more

This place is by far one of the best spas in OC. Everytime I've came, I'm always treated so nicely and feel so comfortable. The massage therapists are all really good and very friendly. The space is very clean and they offer a lot of services. Kim gave me a really good upper body massage. My boyfriend treated me to a massage at this spa for my birthday. Neither of us had been here before but many of his friends were regular customers at this spa. The front desk staff were kind and friendly and took us back to our couples room once we checked in. The massage was relaxing, however at certain times it felt like the masseuse was rushing to get through the session. Which is not something you want when you're trying to relax lol otherwise, it was good and she was able to get the knots on my back loose. One thing that stood out to me is that at the end of the session most spas will offer tea or water, but they didn't offer anything. (I also saw on yelp afterwards that they did offer tea before ) They had a water dispenser there so we got some water ourselves. read more

Thank goodness for Dolce Wellness Spa! In celebration of a friend's birthday, I was looking for a spa location that could accommodate a party of 3 and I am SO GLAD I came across Dolce Wellness. They made inquiring and scheduling quick and simple by being available via text--I was able to book for 3 European Facials within a couple hours of finding this place via Yelp! (And extra plus is that the prices are extremely reasonable! Woohoo!) The spa is tucked away in this business plaza right behind John Wayne Airport, but don't let that discourage you from coming. The staff were all wonderfully welcoming, patient, and attentive. I felt so relaxed throughout the service and was so happy with my decision to book here. Two others in my party experienced their first facial and they had similar remarks of feeling relaxed and really cared for in their problem areas. The beautician helping me even gave me some advice for how to take care of my skin long-term. The service time for massage includes room setup and take down. I was charged for a 45 min massage when the actual service was 30. I have come here a few times and never complained as I thought I made an error in the time but I made sure to monitor the clock today and when I asked to be charged for a 30 min massage instead, they told me no and that the time included setup and take down. Truly a horrible experience coming here. I got the scalp massage that was supposed to include hair oil and washing and was really just a dry scalp scratching that lasted an entire hour. It was extremely painful and 6 hours later my scalp was still irritated and painful to the touch. My hair was so knotted I had to cut some of my hair out. I lost 3 handfuls of hair. I think this is my 3rd time at this spa. First time was great. Really good massage. 2nd massage was sub-par. This time was a disaster. I used their online portal to book an appointment for a deep tissue massage. Instead of a deep tissue massage, I received a hot stone massage I guess? Definitely not what I asked for. I thought they were just starting off with the stones, because they've combined modalities in the past, and I was just trying to relax, but at some point I realized this has been going on for awhile, looked up at the clock, and realized my time was already more than half over, so was too late to reset. Never had a hot stone massage before, but it definitely didn't address the soreness and pain I had that I was hoping to get some relief from with a deep tissue massage. This will be my last time trying this spa. Hope everyone else's experiences are better than mine was. read more

This place is an absolute hidden gem tucked away in the many office spaces in Costa Mesa. I discovered this spa through ClassPass and I have been going every month for a whole year. Their staff is warm, accommodating and friendly. If it's your first time here, you would fill up a form and let them know about your allergies, skin condition, scent preferences. They offer many services like manicure & pedicure but I usually come here for the facials. It is a very zen like environment and I usually feel relaxed, my face is clean & glowing. Today I went for the European Hydrating Facial. I did an add on of their Microdermabrasion through ClassPass. A La carte it's $30. When you enter the facial room, you will have to change into their towel, so you can me more comfortable. The facial is refreshing and hydrating and Olivia, the esthetician explains all the steps and benefits of each cleanser, toner & mask. My favorite is the LED light mask & and the Egyptian rose mask towards the end. All their products are Dermalogica & Eminence Organic skincare. She also ends her spa session with an affirmation for self-love which I appreciate. We all need to take time out of our busy lives to take care of ourselves. I really considered giving this review as I did not want to let this one & only experience give everyone a bad perspective. But after much thought I really think it is fair to make future customers aware of my experience with derma-planing here. I went in for a couples message, and the room was very clean and nice. I requested derma-planing during my 60 min facial, and when she was doing it I could tell she was either rushing or was just not being gentle on my skin. I made several movements and made her aware she was moving to fast. She didn't slow down until she cut me SEVERAL times and even caused bleeding. The products she put after the derma-plane just burned my skin afterwards. I continued to make her aware everything she was doing was still hurting. When the facial was complete I had noticed a TON of scratches to my face. The dermaplane was done so incorrectly on my face that there is still missed spots and areas where is burns beneath my eyes. My intention isn't to get her in trouble or drag this place down. This is simply to let others aware and this business that they need better teaching of this method with their employees. Yes the owner did remove the price of the dermaplane from my bill. But one thing that was never given was an apology for hurting a customer on their face! I'm trying not to be upset but from now until it heals my face burns just from movement and when I do my routine face washing. I hope no one ever experiences what I did here at this location. read more
