The attention to detail that Gael had given made my first time a very memorable one, with thw way she exercised care and tenderness throughout my body, especially the focus areas I had stated in the beginning. By the end, Gael had really stretched me out and had my entire body feeling much-needed relief that I had been wanting to tend to for so long. This time around, I got Yuri, and man does she know how to work on those focus areas with strength and intensity! Compared to my session with Gael, Yuri had walked on my back and even cracked my spine several times, which helped relieve a lot of tension & pressure that had built up in the last month since I was here. She also applied hot stones, which were a nice surprise! Overall, Yuri really tested my limits in terms of pressure and heat, and by the end, I was really proud and amazed at how strong my body was throughout our session. I will continue to be a committed, returning customer & look forward to sessions with other specialists to see what they have to offer! Jayda seems to know exactly where I'm holding tension and what my body needs that day. She combines targeted pressure, stretching, and Thai massage techniques, and every massage feels personalized. I've tried physical therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and other approaches for muscle tension and chronic pain over the years, but the relief I get from Jayda is remarkable. I walked out feeling reborn. My pain and tension were gone, and I felt completely relaxed. Chaba itself is comfortable, peaceful, and relaxing. You can really tell someone put a lot of careful thought and consideration into curating this space. Even the design choices put you at ease. In addition to the services they offer, there's a backyard type area with a sauna and some seating area. It would be a great place to spend a few hours relaxing and decompressing. I booked a massage with scalp rejuvenation. I'm not one for deep tissue so I asked my masseuse to go pretty light and she was excellent. It was one of those massages where it ends and it felt like only a few minutes. Ugh, so good. This is such a special place, I highly recommend you book a service here to relax and renew.

I really reflected on my experience at Wrens before deciding to write this review because I…read moregenuinely did not want to leave a negative one. Unfortunately, for the amount I spent and the quality of the experience I received, I felt like I needed to share it. I came here as a birthday experience and had really high hopes. The sauna and ice bath portion was actually great and probably the best part of my visit. Unfortunately, the one-hour massage was extremely disappointing. My total ended up being around $319 after everything, which made the overall value feel even worse considering how unhappy I was with the massage. I booked a lymphatic/Brazilian lymphatic massage and expected a much more effective and intentional treatment, especially for nearly $200. Instead, the massage was so gentle that I actually found myself feeling more stressed than relaxed. A lot of it felt like very light surface-level rubbing on my arms and legs. I have had several lymphatic massages before, so I had something to compare this experience to, and unfortunately this was by far my least enjoyable one. My massage therapist was Brittany, and I personally did not feel that the technique matched the quality I would expect at this price point. The wooden rollers used during the Brazilian lymphatic portion were also applied so lightly that I barely felt like they were doing anything. The gua sha portion on my face was disappointing as well. When she was using two gua sha tools at the same time, the movements felt mismatched and uncoordinated, to the point where it did not feel effective at all. It came across as very minimal effort. At one point, a hot towel was placed on me that was hot enough to make my body flinch. I immediately said that it was too hot, and what bothered me was that there was no apology or acknowledgment afterward. It is rare for me to spend an entire massage wishing it would end, but that was honestly how I felt. If I am spending almost $200 for one hour, I expect to leave feeling relaxed and like the treatment was worth the money. Instead, I left disappointed and frustrated, especially because this was supposed to be part of my birthday celebration. What made the experience worse was being asked about a 20% tip even after I had expressed that the massage was not what I expected. I understand tipping is customary, but given that I had already communicated my disappointment, the interaction felt uncomfortable. The sauna/ice bath experience was enjoyable, so I cannot say everything about Wrens was bad. But based on the massage experience and the overall price I paid, I personally would not return for a massage here. I really wanted to love this place, especially for my birthday, but unfortunately it was a major miss for me.

After checking out their website, I felt their pricing was almost too good to be true so was a little skeptical at first. However, after checking out their reviews online, and seeing such positive comments, I decided to give it a go. I usually only do 90 minute massages. One hour is never long enough to thoroughly go through the whole body while paying special attention to certain areas of discomfort or pain. I have had different masseuses each visit and all have been wonderful! I do suggest letting the gorgeous lady at the front - she may be the owner but I am not sure - know what you need as not all of the therapists speak fluent English. I usually get matched with women therapists however, I did have a male the time before last. He did such a wonderful job and I felt 100% comfortable with him. I have some hip issues that had been bothering me for a while. He was able to respectfully and professionally get into that area and try to work the tightness out. Then he proceeded to give me a good, long stretch. I walked out of there with no pain. The rooms are clean, place is quiet, and tables are comfortable. I have never been shorted on time either. If we start a few minutes late they still honor the full session. The only bummer is they are not open on Sundays. They do take walk-ins but I would call ahead just in case. I have only had great experiences here. I would highly recommend stopping by. Their staff and services are very professional and prices are extremely affordable. Since they charge a bit less than I'm used to paying, I usually leave a $40 tip on a 90 minute massage. Well worth it! I will continue coming here when I am in town.

I have been to over 30 different chinese foot massage places in CA and Asia, and this one is the best. For newbies, a chinese "foot massage" actually also includes shoulders, back, arms, legs, and face. So for $20 for 1 hour, it is a fantastic deal, and you can get one every day! At most foot massage places, the price is between $15 - $25 per hour. They have one room filled with recliner chairs. In Asia (and some places in San Gabriel), there is a TV on, and the patrons will be talking with each other or surfing the internet on their phones, but for most places in CA, everyone tries to keep a more quiet relaxing atmosphere. Also, at most chinese foot massages, the workers barely understand or speak English, but here, the owners have a moderate understanding of English. The Chinese massages will be more of the deep tissue type of massages, so if you want more of a soft swedish type of massage, then let the people know, but you will have to be very clear, since there is a language barrier. Bottom line is that I will get a Chinese foot massage many days per week and then intersperse it with Burke Williams (or Massage Envy) more expensive, but more relaxing massages a few times per year. read more

I came in with my partner for a one-hour massage, but the session was cut short and ended early. Despite that, we didn't complain and still tipped with the little cash we had. As we were leaving, the front desk staff rudely demanded a tip as if it were mandatory, which already felt unprofessional. To make matters worse, an older masseuse followed us into the parking lot, aggressively insisting on more money, even after we explained that we didn't have any more cash. She went as far as grabbing me and pushing my partner, which was completely unacceptable and made us feel unsafe. Overall, the staff was rude, ungrateful, and money-hungry, turning what should have been a relaxing experience into something stressful and disturbing. read more

I love massage. My first experience with this place was awesome! I had back pain after giving birth to my son. And full body massage was a great choice. It really helped. But second time was good. And third time was just ok. The lady who gave me massage was wearing plastic gloves while giving me foot massage and I hardly felt anything. I don't know. She maybe has her reasons. I couldn't talk about it cos she mostly spoke in Chinese. But body massage was good. Overall I like this place and price is very reasonable. But my satisfaction depends on who I get for the service on that day. Still I'm definitely going back! read more

I looked forward to visiting this place, but I left feeling disappointed. The ambiance was nice, but the massage was lacking. I asked for deep tissue, but it felt more like a light touch.
