I am honestly blown away and not inflating it. My husband and I tried at least 20 different massage places in Orange County, from new ones to more established ones and I can truly say this is the best massage we gotten in a long time. I had LomiLomi with Kate. This massage is really special, it helps with emotional weight and during difficult time. It requires the masseuse to have not only a lot of knowledge about the unique technique but also open heart and mind because she uses her entire body and energy including breath to focus and release physical and emotional tension from the body which are interconnected system. It's a holistic type of massage and I could not have asked for more. I had tears in my eyes and I felt instantly lighter upon leaving the place. This is my favorite type of massage and not many places know how to properly perform it. Kate combined the LomiLomi with a little bit of deep tissue and thai stretching at the end which was perfect. My husband had deep tissue and thai stretching with Amie and he loved it as well. He works out a lot plus he coaches soccer daily on youth pro level so he is constantly under stress and moving a lot. He told me she was a tiny lady so when he saw her he was afraid she won't have enough strength but he was so surprised haha she was really strong (and that's what he needs). Amie found all the tense muscles. I am glad she also stretched him well because he doesn't stretch at home and gets really stiff which drives me nuts because I am super limber! I really really enjoyed my massage here. I requested soft to medium and it was perfect. She was able to really work on my kinks without hurting me which I appreciate. While I don't mind really hard massages, there's just some days where you just want a nice soothing massage that still works your muscles. I also appreciated the fact that she was gentle on the parts that are sensitive for me. The only thing is that the room is really really cold! Otherwise no other complaints. Wow! If you're looking for a true deep tissue massage, this is absolutely the place to go. I've tried so many spots that claim to do deep tissue but never quite deliver. This one definitely does. They work out all the right knots in your shoulders and other stress points, and even give helpful advice on which areas you should focus on for stress relief. The location is inside a business center, so it doesn't have the typical retail massage vibe, but the interior is dark, relaxing, and quiet. There are multiple rooms and plenty of parking. I honestly was not going to write this review but after seeing the fact that they do accept credit cards, I felt I had to let people know that they lie. I went in to get a 30 back massage during to pain in my lower back. She quoted me $50 and put her hand out to pay her. I normally don't pay before the massage at any place that I have gone, I started to give her a credit card and she said only cash. I had the cash but the way she demanded the money and was extremely rude, I decided to leave and bypass this place. I think when they act in this manner and lie about payment types accepted, a little shady for anyone to trust. Beware of the BA with this place. I appreciate the owners response to the review, but a lot that he shared was incorrect and I am not an idiot as he implied that I could not see the signs. When confronted by someone when you walk in, you tend to ask questions instead of reading signs thinking they were knowledgeable when working for a company. read more

I have come here about five times now, and each experience is slightly different. Shout out to Sophia because she definitely knows what she's doing! My back felt so much better for weeks after my massage. I always like getting the combination massage. Since there are many masseuses, there tends be a lot of available appointments which is nice. The reason why my experiences aren't 5 stars is because the rooms are not that sound proof, so you can hear all the chatter in the hallway and front desk which is distracting. Also the bed is not always consistently heated, and sometimes the room is so cold. All of these end up affecting my experience during the visit; especially the loud noises outside of the room. read more

I've had many Thai massages over the years, but my recent visit here was one of the least relaxing experiences I've ever had. Even after I specifically requested minimal draping, the therapist kept my entire body tightly covered, exposing only a very small area at a time. Throughout the massage she would massage for about a minute, then stop to adjust the sheet slightly, just lifting or shifting it by half an inch over and over again. It broke the flow completely and made it impossible to relax. At one point I even asked if I seemed relaxed, and she said no, which summed up the problem. The constant sheet adjustments and excessive draping felt more like a distraction than a professional technique. I paid nearly $200 for the session, and unfortunately a large part of that time was spent repositioning fabric rather than receiving an actual massage. I've had Thai massages at several other studios, and none have handled draping this way. I hope the management provides training on proper draping etiquette and tailored client comfort, because Thai massage should feel freeing, not claustrophobic. read more

In an unassuming business complex is Thai Moon Spa. I went for a 7pm appointment, and no other store front appeared to be open and the complex was dimly lit. However, as you walk in, the front lobby is bright and clean. There's a good amount of space in the event people needed to wait. I was helped right away and got brought back to my room. After saying hi to the masseuse, I got settled under the top sheet. Surprise! The bed was warm - ahhhh. My masseuse was great. I got the combination hr massage ($70). I just had a baby ~2.5 months ago so I needed some help with my shoulders and lower back especially. Well, she dug right in there to get out my knots. She twisted me this way and that and cracked my back! After finishing, I felt a lot looser and sore (to be expected). I'd come back for sure to get "beat up" haha, but I'm sure they can be more relaxing. I just always ask for a firm strength with the aim of getting out my knots. read more

Ive continued to book with her since and she does a great job every time. Always checks if I have a particular area Id like to be focused on. Whether it is my back or hands, she nails it every time. I made an appointment on Saturday morning for a same-day deep tissue massage at 1:30pm. My massage therapist was Sofia. I told her my problem area was my right trap muscle. I was asked if I'd like the massage to include stepping and stretching. I'd never had stepping done as part of a massage, so I wasn't sure what I'd be expecting, but I agreed. I'm a large man, 6' 2" and 215 lbs, so I needed a lot of pressure. I can say -- Sofia can definitely deliver adequate pressure! Enough to where I had to ask to be more gentle, and Sofia accommodated me. She was able to pinpoint other problem points for me: my shoulders, and my hips. After the massage, she recommended to me what I can tell massage therapists to focus on in future massages. She was very friendly and I would absolutely recommend her! The Best Massage Ever! I went to Thai Moon Spa in Irvine and had a ninety minute combination massage. First off the place is very clean and you get your own private room with filter machine and nice clean sheets. I do not remember the therapists name but she was the best I have ever had and I get massages once a week. She asked questions on areas to focus and pressure levels. Her stretching techniques for the Thai portion were excellent and the part with oil was so relaxing.
