From observation, very clean and professional. They are normally fully booked on weekends so definitely call in early in the day to try to reserve a spot. We tried walk in but they were booked and got lucky on Sunday when we called at 11:00am . They really focus on your needs which is what I liked. This place also has a special pillow for those who have big boobs so definitely ask for that to fully enjoy your massage without it being painful for your chest. I highly recommend this place because for how good it was it was affordable only $70 for combination massage. They asked me and my husband what were the areas we needed the most and I said head and neck and they really delivered. My neck and head was so relieved after! They focused 80% on those areas the the rest of my back feet and legs. People think Thai massage is crazy and painful but it wasn't! My husband told them his back was the most troubled area and the girl stepped on his back and my husband said it felt good it really got out all his kinks. I have been coming here for the past three years, and have never been disappointed. My masseuse is usually Jada, but when she's busy I ask for whoever is available. After two right leg surgeries, I felt my body needed a reboot from all the STRESS! I went in today and Lana was wonderful, she knew where my pain was ( back, neck, shoulders and upper extremities) without me having to let her know. Very disappointed in service. upon arrival I did not feel welcomed. my masseuse was not welcoming either the massage was painful from start to finish I mentioned before the massage started that I've been dealing with muscle cramps and I needed the tension to be relieved midway in my massage I received a muscle cramp in my right calf muscle the masseuse at that point did seem sorry which I appreciate but was still disappointed. I mentioned at the front desk that I'm in pain and got a muscle cramp she asked me what that means? and she kept asking me if I tipped!? no sympathy whatsoever I don't leave reviews much but I honestly have not received such terrible service before. I'm torn on this review. The massage was great! Left feeling better than when I came in. However, I was very candid and told them I just want the entry $70 massage and had never got a massage in my life. When I started my massage the person was late, so my one hour massage was only 50 minutes. Then they asked if they wanted to do a deep tissue massage, me being a novice had no idea what that was, so I said sure. When the time was up and the bill came it wasn't $70. So the first massage was great, the lady who took care of us knew exactly what to do. I didn't have to direct her in any way. She could feel my knots and spots of discomfort, and she took care of them. Fast forwarding to yesterday, we showed up at 10am for our appointment. It's been less than a month. I took my girlfriend with me again and we ordered the 90 minute Thai deep tissue massage we both asked for "hard". My girlfriend's massage was great, I could hear the masseuse stretching her and cracking her back. However, when it came down to my massage... it was less enjoyable, it felt as if she was just rubbing oil into my skin. I asked if she could go harder in some areas and it felt as if she was pushing onto my spine, it was very uncomfortable and the knots were all in the same spot as when I arrived. Even though we ordered the same massage, it seemed as if both massages were completely different, we were also finished at different times. At the end, once I was already flipped over, the lady would just rub my scalp with her hands very nonchalant, as if it was just to pass by time until the other masseuse was finished. I spoke to the receptionist at the front, very nice lady and she apologized for the inconvenience. I'm new to massage places so until I start going to others so I can compare, it's a 4 for now :) So I've been introducing alot of self care in the last year. Before coming to Thai moon, I only had one massage before and that was a surprise spa day from one of my honeys ;D That was soft and luxurious. Thai moon is a straight to the point body tune up LOL. I only see Sara here. Once I have a good experience with someone , I tend to stick with them. She's tiny and mighty. When she finds a knot, she's like a dog to a bone. I have a pretty high pain threshold. But woooo last time I had to raise the white flag LOL. Just means I need to come in more consistently. Especially now that I have a personal trainer. I also do cupping here and what an experience. A good one! I love the marks and wear them proudly when I leave the sauna in a tank top :p Thai massage is not a fru fru massage. You will feel detoxed afterwards and will need to take a moment in your car because you will be a little gaggy , dizzy and may have a movement if you know what I mean ;) So if you need a tune up, this is your place. After spending two days trekking around Disneyland, my hubby and I really wanted a massage. We found Thai moon spa and we were actually glad that they offered various massages. Some were leg&feet only which is what we got. There were Thai massages and various full body ones. We came in the afternoon, it's in a unassuming business area but they have a huge parking lot. We got the one hour legs& foot massage and like a true Thai massage, they did step on our lower bodies. They do ask permission first which is nice. So that way you can opt out of it if you want. They either have you change or if you are already wearing shorts then they proceed with the massage. The one hour was amazing, they got all the right spots and definitely made my legs and feet feel so much better after the massage. I got a great deep tissue massage from Katie. Their website said $85 for a 60 minute massage and I called to confirm this price. As I was paying, the cashier told me that minimum tip was $15 but that the recommended tip was $25-40. This caught me by surprise, as I would assume a majority of the $85 SHOULD go to the massage therapist to begin with. I left the recommended tip out of courtesy, but I feel scammed. They should not demand a tip, rather, it should be INCLUDED in the posted price. Their website should say $100 per 60 minute session if they will require a minimum tip. With that said, the massage was great. I definitely recommend this place. I just think the posted prices are misleading. read more

First time customer, I booked online via their scheduling portal. I picked Jada because she was the only one available for a last minute booking on a Friday evening after work. Upon arriving, the facility is clean, they take your temperature, and you pay after your massage (I'm noting this because some Thai massage places require you to pay before your service). Jada greeted me and made sure I had a chance to use the restroom, if needed. I had a lot of knots in my neck and shoulders and noted this to Jada. I brought my own CBD massage balm for her to use, and she mixed this with Tiger balm, which felt great! She is petite but man, is she strong! Her "medium" is quite the kicker. She gave special attention to my problem areas and I felt sore the same day but fantastic the next morning! I came here super last minute and they accommodated me right away. I requested a combination massage. The receptionist was super nice and showed me the way to a clean and empty room. The massage bed was heated which was super nice. The masseuse came in after I got situated and after asking me what my problem areas were and what pressure I would like she got to work. She was gentle yet firm and did a fantastic job at working my knots out and relaxing me. She checked on me often to see if the pressure was okay. I'm compelled to write a review because I've come here for over 2 years now and my experiences have all been exceptionally positive. Apple and Olive give phenomenal massages, listen to your feedback, and truly no 2 massages have been the same, because they are wonderful at pinpointing problem areas and addressing them. I have received high quality massages (typically Swedish w/ a mix of trigger-point and stretching, or combination massage) every single time I have gone, including with other masseuses (but I always try to book with Apple or Olive, schedule permitting--they just do top notch work!). Thai Moon is more expensive (very slightly) than other Thai massage places in the OC area (again, very worth it), but far less expensive (and IMO better massages) than the chain spa/massage places. Highly recommend. I have driven over an hour to get a massage from here instead of going somewhere closer to me. It is worth it. read more

This place is amazing. The therapists are professional and excellent at their crafts. The facility is clean, comfortable and relaxing. I usually get deep tissue massages and it does not disappoint. I have been here twice for 90 minutes massages and did not request a specific therapist. The two random therapists that I had, Sophia and Jada were excellent. I've been to various spas and massage facilities and it's often hit or miss with the therapist but I can assure you, Thai Moon is is top notch! Another bonus is that when I booked the 90 min. massage, I get the full 90 minutes of service. I had the most horrible massage in my life this evening, Sep 22, a 7:30-9pm session booked under my name, Gabrielle. My masseur was either extremely unprofessional or extremely lazy - she ignored my request for pressure on neck and shoulders but rather squeezed my legs in a most languid manner 80% of the time. When I asked her to apply more pressure, she simply replied, 'oh that would mean you need a deep tissue massage instead of Thai', and had the audacity to really charge me for deep issue instead of Thai while delivering none of the two! Your existence is a disgrace to Thailand or Thai massage in comparison to some of your colleagues who delivered boundless strengths with exquisite Thai massage techniques worthy of Nobel Thai Massage Prizes. I genuinely thought so when I was attended by Sherry and Suchada (God bless these professionals) from the same place. They are worthy of my 50% tips, but not you. To manager: please don't schedule someone so amateur just because it's the evening - someone who used feet rather than hand 70% of the time - who gave me a severe headache from my suffocating all the screams of longings of all the pain points that were not reachable by anything but fingers (maybe I'm not worthy of her fingers?), who also put her entire industry to shame by saying after the session, "you need to see a doctor, you know, with your stiff back." The evening clientele are usually often the pickiest, especially someone who'd sacrificed their Friday evening for a much desired massage after a long week. My heart and soul ached for it and now I wanted to puke. Honestly, dear store manager, please do not hurt your professionals' livelihood by scheduling someone so amateur for evenings, or ever.
