Honestly best massage I've had in the U.S. You can only get a massage like this in south East Asia. The masseuse was very thorough and targeted the areas I requested. Highly recommend read more

This is my "go-to" place to get a message! I love how attentive and knowledgeable they are. They discovered knots in areas I was not aware of. And every lady I've gotten has been so kind and pleasant to be worked with, especially Angelina. Definitely recommend coming here especially if you're new to getting messages or shy. The ladies here make you feel very comfortable. read more

Iyara Thai bodywork is great! The massages are easy to book online and the availability is top notch. The price is reasonable, especially for the area. read more

When my sissy wanted to treat me to a much needed massage day, we Yelp'd this place and boyyy lemme tell ya that my body never hurt so good. For only $69/hr for a combo massage sesh..not bad at all ~ I chose to do the traditional Thai and Swedish massage. I asked for a mild/medium pressured massage. Sooo worth it!!! Angelina was my masseuse and she was a perfect at working out my knots & kinks. Not gonna lie, there were some points of the massage where I was in pain from her strong hands, but no pain no gain sometimes people. It hurt so good in the end because I truly felt the pressure lifted from my focus areas: lower back and neck. We requested to be in a couples room, so my sis and I were side by side, sharing in the experience. The ambience was peaceful & inviting. It was dimly lit and soothing & relaxing music played in the background. There was cute Thai decor thruout the place. The establishment was very clean and they give you slippers to wear once you check-in, leaving your shoes in lil cubbies by the front door. They have a bin within your room (on a chair beside to your massage table) to place your personal belongings and clothes in. We actually made a last min rezo and they had availability within the same day, which was cool & convenient. I will definitely come back and get another massage soon. Highly recommend! read more

I've been walking around with my lower back and neck pain for weeks but I haven't really had the time to book for a massage session until today. This is the first time I saw this Thai massage place on Yelp and after reading 95% of the 5-stars reviews, I called and made my first appointment with them and Wow... I was so happy I did. I can walk out of there with my back straight again! Thank you Taylor for doing such a Great job working on my several kinks and knots that I've been living with for weeks now. I'll see you next time. All the staff are very nice and helpful. Thank you! read more

Scheduling an appointment was quick and easy. I had shoulder and neck pain that Emma was able to alleviate most of with a Thai deep tissue massage. Professional, clean, and comfortable. Be sure to communicate with your masseuse or else a Thai deep tissue can really test your pain tolerance; sore for 2 days is a good hurt and release of muscle tension. Will be booking in the future! read more

First time here. Booked easily for noon on a Saturday for 90 minutes. I don't know the name of my massage therapist but she worked nonstop for 90 minutes and never let up. She was sensitive when she needed to be and rough and tough as nails when she needed to be and I appreciate that. She found the knots and addressed them painfully but skillfully. Combo Thai and Swedish. Deep pressure and stretching. The price board said 90 minutes would be $100 but my gal said $115 at the end. I paid $140 (that's including tip) and that's about $10 more than I was expecting to pay but she earned it. Facility was inviting and friendly. Easy parking. read more

This was my first time at Iyara and I had Angelina. I booked a 60 min deep tissue massage last minute online. Angelina went above and beyond to address my needs and made sure I felt better. I came in because I had tight shoulders/knots and a tweak in my neck when I turned my head. I asked her to focus on my neck and shoulder area for most of the massage. I have had massage therapists in the past brush me off or barely work on the places I asked them to and even paid more for those services than here, but Angelina listened to me and made sure I was taken care of. Will definitely be coming back here! read more

Very disrespectful experience. The rule about not using phones was never clearly communicated to us in advance. No one explained it or told us professionally before the service started. When I said the pressure was too strong, the staff member blamed me and said it was because I was on my phone, which made no sense and felt very unprofessional. She just left suddenly during the massage. What bothered me the most was her behavior afterward. She raised her voice in the hallway, kept pointing at me in a very disrespectful way, and made the whole situation uncomfortable. When I asked her to stop pointing at me, instead of handling it professionally, multiple staff members came over and forced me to leave. This was one of the most disrespectful services I've ever experienced. I would not recommend this place. read more

I booked a combination massage, but the pressure was too light, so I asked to switch to deep tissue. The therapist then told me, in a hushed, almost secretive way, "I'll make it deep tissue, don't worry," which made me feel a bit uneasy. However, I decided to go along with it. Unfortunately, the massage itself was not good. None of the pressure points were properly addressed, and the entire session felt uncomfortable rather than relaxing. I honestly just wanted a good, enjoyable massage regardless of the type, but that was not the case at all. I regularly get massages 1-2 times a week, so I'm familiar with different techniques. When a massage doesn't work well for my body, I often ask for stepping, which alone can be enough to make me feel satisfied. However, when I requested this, it was refused. Instead, I was told that my body wouldn't improve that way and that I need to get massages more often, which I found uncomfortable. Overall, I left feeling not only unsatisfied with the service, but also uncomfortable with how I was spoken to. I hope there can be improvements in both technique and communication. read more

I highly recommend! Sara was my masseuse and she knew what she was doing and she got all in my neck and back which I desperately needed to get worked on. I immediately felt instant relief after, mind you I was in an immense amount of pain. We did a deep tissue massage and some parts hurt too good (but that's the point of a deep tissue massage-- it's not meant to feel entirely relaxing!) I also loved how they incorporated mobility movements and stretches at the end. It felt so invigorating and nice. Thank you Sara! Will be coming back again. read more

My go-to Thai massage spot was fully booked, so my husband found this place and scheduled a session for me with Angelina. The space was clean and comfortable. While sound does carry a bit in the treatment rooms, they do a good job of keeping it moderately quiet. O. M. G. -- Angelina's hands were incredible! She knew exactly where my knots were and worked on them with precision. I look forward to my next visit with her again! read more

I was going to a different massage place, but I am officially in love with this one!! I've gotten the deep tissue massage a couple of times here. Each time, it is great! I like the option of the heated massage table. The ladies here are serious and talented. Definitely recommend people to try this out to help with soreness or for a relaxing experience! read more

I didn't take any photo's unfortunately. It's a small massage place. They give you a really strong massage. I felt it for days. If that's not your thing then don't ask for a Thai massage. I loved it but would go with a lighter massage next time. read more

Not concrete massage to pain point. Stretch is not professional. Overall not worth it. Will never come back. read more

I've been here a few times and have always left feeling more relaxed and 100% happy with all the services. I'm finally leaving a review because of the extra amazing massage I had by Linda who just joined this location. She was amazing and I have already booked my next appt for next week. On top of the amazing massage I accidentally dropped $40 in the shop and the honest owner/manager called me to let me know so I could come back and pick it up. I will be supporting this small business more often moving forward. Their prices are extremely reasonable, it's clean and inviting, and the hours are very convenient not for during the week and weekends. read more

First time at Iyara Thai bodywork, I booked 60 minutes massage. Alice was massage therapist. She is super sweet and and professional. I personally like gentle and relaxing massage so I let her know not going too hard on me. Since I'm petite I don't like having her foot massaging me.I requested hand only, pls! The massage she delivered was so on point I just love it. She is such a good listener and paying attention with all the details. I felt so relaxed and refreshed. So happy to have her as my massage therapist. Have to go back and book with her again. Thank you, Alice! You're amazing:) read more

This is my go-to massage studio! Every masseuse I have seen, has been fantastic, but my go-to girl is Angelina. She has healing hands and can truly work my body to help heal aches and pains. Cannot speak highly enough about her!! This is such a hidden gem in irvine - if you are looking for a wonderful massage, I highly recommend going here! :) read more

We were able to get a last minute appointment on a Saturday for a couples Thai massage and it was the best last minute decision ever! From the moment we stepped in, we were impressed by the establishment's cleanliness--requiring guests to remove their shoes upon entry. The staff and therapists were very friendly, and I appreciated how my therapist took the time to inquire about any specific areas of focus before beginning. Our massage space was fully enclosed, quiet, and peaceful throughout the session. The Thai massage itself was nothing short of amazing! I found myself able to completely unwind as the therapists employed specific techniques to decompress my muscles. For those unfamiliar, Thai massage stands out from other modalities due to its unique blend of deep tissue pressure, muscle and joint stretching, and gentle manipulation aimed at stimulating organs and enhancing flexibility. Be prepared to experience a thorough stretching if you opt for this massage style. As someone who regularly engages in intense workouts, I often struggle with numbness or tightness in my muscles and joints. However, after my session, I emerged feeling rejuvenated, as though every joint in my body had been revitalized. It was an incredibly relaxing experience that I would highly recommend to anyone in need of physical and mental rejuvenation! Price for a 60 mins Thai massage is $79 before tip. read more

Find this in a business area in the same plaza as TP tea. Came for a couples massage and were quickly whisked into our room. The rooms are separated by other a curtain if you choose to be private. My only complaint is that the rooms aren't completely closed off so you can hear someone cough next door. The massage itself was decent. My therapist gave me a combo massage with some light stretching. Best suggestion is to bring cash. You will be paying the therapist separately, I had to venmo one and pay card with another. If you pay with a card, they will charge you 3%. read more

Don't normally give reviews, but my experience was so wonderful, I felt I must. First time at this shop, my assigned masseuse was Angelina. Angelina was very informative and professional. I have had some issues with a frozen left shoulder and this was my main concern. Angelina spent the time to understand what I was looking for and got to work. By the end of our hour I was feeling great. Will be coming back and asking for Angelina! I gave a five star rating but was limited by only five stars being available . Scott read more

OK. NINA changed my life. This was the best massage I have ever had. I've never been stretched and cracked so easily before. She adjusted parts of my body even my chiropractor couldn't in the last 3 years. I love her. I miss her. I'll be seeing her again soon. Great little gem in Irvine with very fair pricing. $69 for that sweet sweet combo wombo massage. Side bar: I realize this review has several innuendos. Try to think wholesome, yelpers. Cheers! read more

Had an appointment for a 90 minute deep tissue massage with Ms Angeline and it was great. She is warm, very professional, and perceptive with pain points, pressure, and tension. She asked me to return in a week for her to continue treating some neck and back tension after the muscles had time to rest but my travel plans changed! Will definitely be back next time. Your session is in a partitioned space with privacy but you'll be able to hear other people. Just a note if that's important to you - the shop space is very clean and polished and quiet and a great value for the price. read more

This place is a gem. Weeks later I am still thinking about how great this massage was and looking forward to returning soon. I got a 90 minute combination massage with DeeDee and was shown to a private room. She asked if I had any areas I wanted her to pay special attention to and I told her my neck and upper back have been bothering me lately. She honed in on a knot in my back that she kept coming back to (it was painful but painful in a good way... and I nearly asked her to stop but glad I endured it since it get relief afterwards). read more

This place is so wonderful. From the moment you step in your senses will be heightened by the aromatherapy in the air. You'll leave your shoes at the door and then be taken back to your room. I had the combo massage (Thai and Swedish massage) for 2 hours- $140. I couldn't believe 2 hours for that price- such an incredible deal. My massage therapist checked in on pressure- I was in heaven nodding off every once in a while. The combo massage is so great because you get the best of Thai massage with stretching and a little back walking coupled with deep tissue. I left feeling so incredible. I hope I can visit again while I'm here and next time include the herb ball. read more

Emma is great; she found all of my pressure points and did an absolutely phenomenal job, I will be back again soon.

So I came to Iyara to relieve my back, neck and shoulder pain. I've gotten deep tissue massages at other places, but it never relieved the pain for me. My appointment was with Angelina. She was very professional. Her room was clean, and she made me feel welcomed and relaxed. When she massaged me I immediately knew she would be able to help me. She knew where all the tightness was and started to loosen the muscles for me. At the end of the session my neck pain was gone! I felt much lighter. She told me to schedule a 90 minute or 2 hour follow-up session so she could continue the healing process. I saw her for 2 more sessions and now my back and shoulder pain is gone. She's unbelievable! If you have any muscle or joint pain, I absolutely recommend Angelina! She's AMAZING! read more

Angelina is amazing! She took me as a client when my previous massage place refused me because of my back injury. Every time I get a massage from her, my pain decreases significantly. It's one of the only things that helps. She has also worked on my sprained ankle and bad knee. I can tell she really cares about helping me relieve my pain. I plan to keep seeing her regularly, even after I'm finally recovered. The place is also very nice and clean. The staff are all very welcoming, and it's easy to relax. read more

I had a wonderful experience today at Iyara Thai BodyWork with Ms. Coco, a professional therapist. She was being professional and accommodating throughout the 90mins service. Overall, I highly recommend this Thai Bodywork for severe pain and stiffness. They will definitely help you out! Thanks, Jake read more
