We skipped out on other services such as the massage and the the body scrub this time around. But just with the admission alone, our time passed so fast. We loved the ability to just go from one area to another and the ability to go the cafeteria to eat and chit chat. The food was really good. We got assortment of items to share between the four of us and it was delicious. Though, the food price is a bit pricier than usual. I will definitely be coming back. From a 4 to a 2.5 stars. I came here recently to relax for a few hours, get some reading done, get a massage, and dine in their kitchen. They have raised their admission prices several times in the last 2 years. Upon arrival, I was contemplating on getting a massage or not and decided not to and instead just used my pre-purchased admission ticket. I would say the best thing here is their dining area. They have a good selection of Korean food and drinks including smoothies, juices, and even boba. I usually get their almond milk tea. My favorite food choices would be the tofu soup with seafood only (yes, you can ask for no beef) or the burnt bibimbap bowl with all the veggies and yes, you can also ask for a fully cooked egg instead of a Sunnyside up if you don't like runny eggs. My meal with a drink usually comes out to $26. The reason why I am lowering my rating is because their standing shower area stinks. For the last couple of times I've been here, that area smells either like mold or a sewer issue. Secondly, I witnessed one of their shower massage employees (they wear black tops and bottoms) use the restroom and left without washing her hands. Yes, she is a masseuse who doesn't wash her hands after using the toilet. I would never book any type of massage here based on that fact alone. One more thing, i also saw 2 women get into an argument. I was in a dry sauna room with 2 other females already there. One female came in and confronted someone else who was trying to relax for not picking up her towels in the other room. The lady who got confronted acted like she didn't speak English so the argument was brief. However, the lady who did the confronting called her a stupidass before walking away. LOL I'm laughing about it now but honestly it is suppose to be relaxing environment and chasing someone down over towels when you don't even work here is a bit much. Not very relaxing. It's been a long time since I've been to the K-spa or Korean spa/bathhouse. This was my first time at this location, which is near the Diamond Jamboree plaza. I got the body scrub and massage for $135 since it includes admission, which is normally $40. Prior to the service, they recommend you soak in the hot pool for approximately 20-30 minutes. The facility is separated with a women's and men's area, and once you enter, you pay for your admission or service, put your things into the locker, strip naked, and head to the shower area where you are required to shower before you do anything. For just the admission alone, you get access to a variety of saunas, hot and cold pools, a steam room, and a common area with heated floors for relaxation. You get a time limit of 6 hours, which is way more than enough. At my appointment time, the workers, who are dressed in black bras and panties, call out your number (which is also your locker key number) and you head to the service area. The woman scrubbed off my dead skin for 30 minutes while applying a quick 5 minute facial mask, then had me shower off and come back. Next, she applied oil all over my body and gave me a mini massage which basically just loosened a few of my knots in my shoulder and back area. It was not really relaxing, but I only care about the results. :) Then she poured some type of warm milk all over my body, and poured some into my hand to wash my face with. She also shampooed my hair at the end... and I was asked to shower off my body again. I then headed to the common area where the co-ed saunas were and tried out the Salt room, the Forest room, Ondol room, Fire Room, and Ice Room for a short period. I spent a total of about 3 hours there with the service time included. Since I was short on time, I will get another service in the future, but come earlier to use the sauna rooms first, maybe try out their on-site restaurant, then get my service at the end and go home from there. I really enjoyed this day of pampering at the Korean spa. I just wished the guests weren't all on their phones and being loud. People were having full on conversations in the common area and whispering loudly in the sauna rooms. I haven't been here in a long time so it was a pleasant surprise that not only is it as clean as I remembered it, they added a lot of soft lounge mats all over for people to sleep on. I love all the different treatment rooms ranging from different types of heat levels. The cafeteria also serves really delicious food at affordable price. I recently went to a kspa up in LA and it was small, crowded and smelly. Irvine Spa in contrast is so spacious, clean and not crowded on a week night. There are 3 different pools (hot, warm, cold), a steam and dry sauna, a relaxation room, and a ton of rooms in the common area (like the salt, forest, and ice rooms!) Came here for the second time this weekend, got the scrub and gold massage for $210, which comes with access to the whole facility (usually $40 without a service). We booked reservations ahead of time. This is an ASIAN spa, which means clothing is not present on the gender specific sides (they give you a pink or brown cotton shorts and t shirt uniform to wear in the common area). My favorite thing is to bring a book and read in the common area after my treatment , and also eat lunch at the Korean restaurant. Highly recommend doing this as at least a 4 hour excursion, you can stay up to 6 hours (which we did ). I like that the services are also pretty comprehensive if you do the most expensive one (face mask, hair wrap, full body etc ) Pros: - the actual spa service itself is quite luxurious - I had Sumi and she did a fantastic job scrubbing off all my dead skin, I feel super exfoliated and very soft afterwards. This wasn't my first time at a Korean spa, but it was my first time receiving a service here and it did not disappoint. First, let's talk about cleanliness because that matters. The entire facility was spotless. When you first walk in, you'll place your shoes in a locker (no shoes allowed inside), and you'll be given a wristband that acts as your key and ID throughout your visit. They also provide clothes to wear in the common areas so you can comfortably walk around and enjoy the space. The common area is co-ed, but once you enter the locker room and spa areas, it is separated by women and men, and yes, it is fully nude in those areas. It definitely surpassed my expectations when I received a cucumber mask and my hair was washed. They really do scrub you down & my skin feels so silky smooth. I've been here twice now, and I think this will be a place I would regularly visit. Both times we came here, we got the acupressure massage, which is 55 minutes, and it comes with spa admission ($40 value) which I feel is worth it. Essentially, your massage is $85! You pay for your experience, and they give you a locker key and a pair of shirt and shorts (pink for women, don't remember exactly the color for men whether blue or black). When you first enter, you take your shoes off at the first locker room based on your key number. You walk in further to the second set of lockers where you put your belongings and get changed (or walk around on the women's side in the nude). They have plenty of towels for you to use. On the women's side they have bathrooms, an area to get ready (hair and makeup done self service). Then there is the spa area where you take a shower to clean yourself before going in and/or before leaving (amenities include body wash, shampoo, conditioner, mirror, dividers between each shower with a total of 6 showers), cold overhead shower, saunas, different temperature pools (cold, warm, hot/warmer). You are scheduled at a time to get your massage and can wait in the women's side waiting room, which is next to where you enter the women's side. Seems like it was significantly busier on the weekend than the weekday we came last time. The massage rooms are for individuals (no opportunity for side-by-side couples massage). Both times my masseuse did excellent jobs. The first time I came here, something to note was that my massage was just almost too much, but I feel they gave really good effort. I am someone who definitely needs a lot of work on their knots/muscle tightness. The second time, it was more comfortable. Service was friendly both times. They do seem to expect and are grateful for tips. They will give you an envelope (or you're supposed to pick one up) and either Venmo their username listed on the envelope or just place cash in there, which you are less likely to have given the spa experience. After the spa, we went to the jjimjilbang, where both men and women can hang out. You'll enter a large room with heated floors, plenty of floor seating and limited table/bench seating. Towards the left of the room is where there are the different therapy rooms (clay, salt, cold, heat, etc) for different skin goals. It felt so nice to alternate between the rooms. It's a bit themed too. The cold room basically was like walking into a fridge with carpet on the ground, ice on the walls. There is a dry heat room where it has almost like a furnace. I can't remember each of the rooms' features, but that's the idea. They have a work/lounge room where you can bring your laptop to work or other things, like at a coffee shop. They have a food court (or more like their own restaurant). It always feels so nice to get a hot soup after getting a massage and being in the jjimjilbang. Prices were reasonable for food. I was a little put off by the reviews mentioning this place being crowded and hesitant to try it. But I decided to check it out myself. I went to Irvine Spa on a Tuesday around noon. Admission is 40 dollars and I scheduled a body scrub for 70 dollars. I've been going to the Korean spa in Ktown for years so I had something I can compare to. First I love how this place separates shoes storage area with the changing area. The floor inside the lady's changing area is a lot cleaner than I expected. Standard spa area with hot tubs, showering area, dry and wet saunas, relax room and a small chilling area. I also appreciate this place has a working room where people can bring work/study materials there to work on while relaxing in a spa. My body scrub session was insanely good! Cheaper and better than the other place I've been going (not gonna mention names here, lol). I felt so much better after my body scrub session. During my time there, it wasn't very crowded but I could see that happening due to the facility size and the dense population in Irvine. Overall I love this place and will go back. Parking is free and has lots of spots. Free WiFi and food court also available inside. One star is taken from the broken hairdryer not being replaced timely. read more

This place is so cool! I've never been to anything like it here in OC, but have heard so many great things about the spa. The whole thing was an experience, and I'm excited to come back and see what else they offer. This is a Korean spa, that offers various types of sauna rooms, a salt room, and an ice room. There's also a public bathhouse separated by gender where swimsuits are not allowed. I did see that they offer body scrubs and massages here, but didn't get a chance to try them. When you first enter, you pay for your activities, and then are given a uniform to change into for the common areas plus hot room areas. The common area is dimly lit, and is more of a relaxation area with mats to lay on and nap. I was so comfortable in the forest room that I nearly snored! I also love that there's a cafeteria for you to grab a meal if you get hungry. Currently it's $40 for the hot rooms + the common area for 6 hours. I've been going to iSpa for a long time now. And I've had a lot of great experience previous. This is ONLY a review from the last few times I've gone (in this year 2025). Love the food. Still really enjoy it. Amenities are still generally kept clean and taken care of mostly. There are some things that may or may not be out of order but nothing too out of the ordinary. They are simply *too many people*. And a good number of them are annoying yappers. Cannot come here to relax almost ever anymore. Which is very unfortunate since their jjimjilbang is very nice. Not to mention what's been going on in the men's room. Inappropriate touching of oneself and ogling. It contains communal areas to relax, four different Korean sauna huts plus a cold room, hot tubs of varying temperatures and a cold plunge area, and even a cafeteria and work space for after your relaxation session. For my belated birthday celebration I decided to finally check out a Korean spa. $35 for admission, which includes the spa/sauna area (nude, gender separated) and a common area with the jjim jil bang themed rooms and a courtyard area with heated tiles. There is also a cafeteria with tasty and relatively affordable Korean food. We booked a body scrub as well for $65/person, which was an interesting experience. I had never been bathed on a table before, and they really did a thorough full-body scrub. After checking in, you put your shoes into a locker and then your clothing in a larger locker. The nude area has cold, warm, and hot pools, a dry sauna, and a steam sauna. There are also several showers. There were also TV areas with recliners (uniform necessary in those areas). It was not my first time in a nude spa (common in Asia), but it was definitely interesting seeing the variety of men. We enjoyed the common area with friends, including a yummy meal and the various rooms (hot, red clay, salt, forest, and ice rooms). We spent the full 6 hours at I Spa and the time flew by! read more

The ultimate self-care treatment! I watch a lot of koreanovelas, and I've always wanted to try a korean day spa. My sister and I went to try out this spot in Irvine. It did not disappoint! The staff were very cheerful and friendly. The locker rooms were spacious, and we were given a shirt and short to change with. We tried all the sauna rooms, including the salt room and the ice room. It wasn't very crowded, and there was a lot of space. We laid down and relaxed for a bit in the main sauna area. It was very quiet, and everyone was respectful of each other. Afterwards, we had private massages! Then, we headed towards their restaurant, which is also in the building. We pretty much ordered everything in the menu! This has been on my bucket list for years. It was my first time going to a Korean spa and I loved it. I'm definitely coming back You could make a reservation or walk in. It costs $40. My favorite was the pink salt room. They had a hot sauna, forest room, and ice room. They also had a study room and the common area where you can lay on pads or massage chairs. They also had a food court and I definitely have to try it next time I go. We stayed there for 5 hours and it was so relaxing. They also have additional services like massages and scrubs. They have a separate shoe lockers and regular lockers. They also have shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. read more

Homophobic place. Went here to relax with my date, we were in the common room just watching TV. My leg just happened to be on my date's lap, nothing else and the security guy made such a big deal out of it like we were hooking up when we were just on our phones, TV on, fully clothed. So he felt uncomfortable and left and I tried to make the most of the night but that Arab looking security guy made me so uncomfortable that I saw him follow me around everywhere even when I was drinking water in my locker. I-Spa is a huge Korean spa in Irvine. I like coming here since it allows me to disconnect for a few hours. When you check in, they give you a uniform and a locker key. The locker key first opens a locker for you to put your shoes into. Then you'll walk into the locker room to change into the uniform. The locker rooms, hot tubs, sauna, steam room and cold plunge are separated by gender since you're fully naked. The hot rooms (salt rooms, clay rooms, etc) outside the locker rooms require uniform since it's both genders. They also have a Korean restaurant here. We got a massage and spent a couple of hours in the facilities. Massage was amazing ($115 for a 60-min deep tissue). Definitely don't recommend going with friends. Might be awkward! read more

Took my sister here for her bday. We've never been, but have heard of these places. Also seen them in lots of kdramas so we knew about the being naked areas. We opted to do General admission, which is just the common areas, the 5 saunas, lounge room, kids room and restaurant. Overall, it was good. We stayed about 3 hours. The sauna rooms ranged from hot to super hot so it was a bit much for me. I'm a winter kind of girl so I lasted maybe 5-10 minutes in those rooms. Didn't last much in the cold room either cuz it was freezing when you're dressed in shorts and short sleeves. Food was good and got to chit chat and catch up with my sister so I enjoyed it over all. I didn't fully know what to expect. I've been to two similar spas before--one in Atlanta and an onsen in Tokyo--so I had some frame of reference. I'd describe this as an affordable place to lounge and reset. It's not fancy or luxurious in any way, but you can easily spend five or six hours rotating between the hot tubs (which are very hot), the ice-cold cold plunge, various saunas, the salt room, and the "ice room" (cold, but not freezing). There's also a large common room with heated tile floors where you can nap or read on mats. That part was genuinely relaxing. The Good * The salt room * Heated tile floors * Very hot tubs and solid sauna options * Spacious, calm common lounging area * Food looked and smelled great The Bad The biggest issue for me was sanitation. Slippers aren't allowed, yet during the five hours I was there, I didn't see the floors cleaned once. In a high-traffic, barefoot environment, that's concerning. Have they ever heard of athlete's foot? I got some foot spray today bc my foot is starting to itch a ) The women's bathroom consistently had bits of tissue paper on the floor (those dispensers are hard to manage), and I saw a used Q-tip (thankfully no visible ear wax!) and a bottle cap left in the salt room. The hot tubs also seemed heavily chlorinated--my eyes were burning after about eight minutes. It was President's Day, so it was crowded. There were a few pre-teens being their kid selves--not badly behaved--but without supervision it made the space less relaxing. They made up games in the ice room and took up the whole space (cute... but also, not exactly spa vibes). One of the kids was coughing up a lung every six minutes, which definitely didn't help the relaxation factor. As for the café: food averaged around $20 per plate. It looked and smelled good, but for that price, you can eat at one of the many nearby restaurants, be served at a table, get your food in under 45 minutes, and not have to clean up after yourself. The setting just doesn't quite justify the price point. -------------- The $180 Scrub + Massage (120 minutes) This experience deserves its own section. First, the scrub is no joke. The treatment area is on the gender-separated side of the spa. Therapists escort you to a semi-private space with a vinyl-covered table that's intentionally wet for the exfoliation. At first I was confused--but yes, they wet the table on purpose. And scrub they do. It is thorough. Extremely thorough. I felt like a dirty dish getting scrubbed with a Brillo pad full of Irish Spring bar soap (that's exactly what it smelled like). They get very close to some private areas--so just be prepared. The warm water poured over you throughout was actually lovely, and my skin felt incredibly clean afterward. Then you shower and return for the massage portion on a dry table. Now--the massage. My friend and I both joked that we got the "angry massage." It's clearly cultural rather than personal, but it involves firm, abrupt movements--arms and legs repositioned quickly, deep pressure, strong stretches, and occasional jarring pushes. At one point, my "bad" knee (which has visible surgical scars) was placed in an awkward position and what felt like a full judo or kung fu move was done on it. It's still a bit sore. My friend has a shoulder injury, and her masseuse yanked and pulled her shoulders back in the blink of an eye, causing pain. They don't ask beforehand about tender areas to avoid, which would have helped. To be fair, the therapist wasn't actually angry--we figured that out once we started laughing through some language misunderstandings. At some point we were cracking each other up. But during the massage itself, you genuinely can't tell what's happening or what's coming next. The face mask was a pleasant surprise--cold but refreshing. I passed on the hair shampoo. Interestingly, I didn't feel relaxed during the massage. It felt more like an ordeal. But afterward? I did feel looser and calmer overall (knee aside). It worked--it just wasn't the soothing, tranquil experience I personally prefer. ------------ Final Thoughts For $40 admission, I'd go back just to enjoy the hot tubs, salt room, and lounging areas--IF sanitation improved and slippers were provided. As for the $180 treatment, I'll likely go elsewhere--not because it's bad, but because I prefer a calmer massage style and a more serene environment. If you're looking for an affordable, spend-the-day spa experience and don't mind a no-frills, high-traffic atmosphere, this may work for you. First time to a Korean spa and it was quite the experience. This place is huge but very clean. I booked an oil massage 55 minutes for $135 which includes use of the facilities for 4 hours. You're given a uniform and a wristband locker key when you check in. First stop is to put away your shoes. Then you enter the locker room to put on our uniforms. We had the massages first. The oil aka Swedish massage was ok. Good pressure but interesting technique. No use of forearms or elbows really. After the massage we went into the common areas to use the hot and ice rooms there. A lot of people were listening to music or watching their iPad or wearing a paper face mask. Then we went to the restaurant and ordered a bibimbap with bulgogi to share and was actually really good. Next was the wet area. You have to be naked in this area so if it's your first time it may be a little intimidating. They have a steam and dry sauna and 3 small pools - hot, warm and ice. I only lasted a minute in the ice bath! They have showers both standing and sitting and a large area if you want to do your hair and make up as well. You can definitely make a day of it here. This is my favorite spa I've become a regular at! I've visited with my boyfriend and my mom and sister. It's an easy process and they do provide a variety of sizes of uniforms so if you're on the bigger side you ah e nothing to worry about. The locker rooms are super clean and the process is very straightforward. I'd recommend bringing a face mask to relax in while you're there and I'd definitely bring some small personal hygiene supplies for when you shower (ex. Hair brush, deodorant) the lotion they have smells super good and is very lightweight. The fire room is the hottest room there so I'd definitely time how long you stay and if you're feeling too hot, the ice room is where you can refresh yourself.
