Before finding her, I had tried chiropractors, massage therapy, and even saw a neurologist. While those treatments provided some temporary relief, nothing compared to the results I've experienced with Dr. Zhao. One of my biggest concerns was that I had developed a noticeable hump at the base of my neck from years of poor posture and constantly leaning my head forward. Thanks to Dr. Zhao's acupuncture treatments, cupping therapy, and the home exercises she recommended, the hump has noticeably reduced, and my pain and mobility have improved significantly. I also really appreciate that she accepts insurance, which makes it much easier to continue treatment. Dr. Zhao genuinely cares about her patients and takes the time to understand what you're experiencing. I'm so grateful I found her and would highly recommend her to anyone dealing with chronic neck, shoulder, or nerve pain.

I have rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and have taken the holistic approach to treating my disease. I decided to try acupuncture to see if it could assist with my inflammation and pain. I did my research and decided to try Lee Acupuncture based on all the positive reviews. There were even a few reviews coming from arthritis patients who had obtained good results. They're located in a small business plaza that borders Costa Mesa & Newport Beach. The big "Melton Int'l Tackle" sign is a good landmark. They are located all the way down the alley on the right. Free parking is available. The office itself is rather small with 3-4 patient rooms and a small waiting area that's comfortably furnished with 2 chairs, a sofa and some snacks & water. I was pleased to learn that my insurance covered the first 6 sessions (per year) at $40 co-pay per session. After that the rate goes up, but you can buy a package that offers lower rates. The very 1st session was interesting, as they hooked me up to a machine to determine how balanced my energy was flowing internally. It highlighted key areas of improvement. The belief is that the more balanced I am, the less inflammation I will have. Each session is about 1/2 an hour. I started going twice a week, and now I go once a week. I was assigned to Dr. Kim who thoroughly explained everything to me prior to starting, and continues to remain helpful and caring. He inserts the needles in various areas, primarily my hands, feet and head. Sometimes it hurts a little when the needles go in, and a couple times I've bled after the needles came out, but that's probably because it hit a vein. I lay on the table for 1/2 hour and feel very relaxed afterwards. In addition to the acupuncture, I take herbs that I purchase from them for $90 for 1 weeks worth. They said it's very important to keep taking the herbs as it assists with the healing process. I had also read about this online. I take the herbs 2x a day (AM & PM) with food. I mix the herbs with a little water and drink it like a tea. After approximately two months of acupuncture and drinking herbs, I can positively say that my inflammation has gone down significantly. I took a photo of my inflammation on my hands & feet prior to starting, and there has been a big improvement! I will definitely continue seeing Dr. Kim, and I'm so happy I discovered Lee Acupuncture.

However, if you do not health insurance does cover these kinds of specialty services, Dr. Won can let you know of the per session cost. I don't think it was anything outrageous though. He was also able to check if I was eligible to be covered pretty quick (in a few minutes or less at the beginning of our first session - and I was eternally grateful). He not only provided traditional acupuncture and cupping (not fire cupping FYI, it was suction based) for me that I was used to, but also added in some new therapies like electrostimulation, ultrasound, and red light therapy. Also added bonus since I came in with a tight back and shoulders that really added to my wrist and finger pains he also taught me some exercises to help loosen up the tension! Also, if you are a little nervous about needles like I have been I thought he was pretty gentle when placing them on the necessary points for your treatment plan! I am super grateful and when I'm back in town I plan to schedule another appointment with him - which is quick and easy to do! I came in specifically because I was feeling unwell and suspected a blood sugar issue--especially since lab work from a different clinic the prior week showed a fasting glucose level high enough to indicate diabetes. Despite explaining this, the Physician Assistant (PA) dismissed my concerns, told me I "didn't fit the profile" for diabetes, and ordered a thyroid panel instead. Three days later, the support staff called to tell me they lost my blood sample and needed me to come back in. When I expressed frustration that they lost my sample for a test I didn't even ask for--while still refusing to run the metabolic panel I actually needed--the staff member literally hung up on me. I only returned the next day because it is within walking distance of my house and I was having the same feeling again, wanting to get to the bottom of what was happening. While the PA on duty that day was attentive, she ended up sending me to the ER for my blood pressure. After waiting four hours at the hospital, the ER doctor confirmed it wasn't an emergency at all. To top it all off, I received another call from the urgent care informing me that they did eventually run a metabolic panel, and my A1C and fasting glucose levels are, in fact, indicative of diabetes. Between the PA completely dismissing a patient's concerns, the staff losing blood samples, and being hung up on, the lack of professionalism and competence here is alarming. Go somewhere else.

The next morning when I came in, she recognized my name and said she thought she had spoken to me. She saw I was visibly in pain and helped get me checked in quickly. That level of attentiveness meant so much. Dr. Phillip (I think his name) was also wonderful. He didn't treat me like just another number in line. He actually listened, was personable, and made me feel heard during a time when I was already stressed and uncomfortable. Ramon, who took my X-rays, was just as kind and professional. He made the process feel comfortable, chatted to ease the tension, and even gave me helpful pointers about boot options and navigating insurance. That kind of care makes a big difference. What really stood out to me is that every single person I interacted with was personable and compassionate. Urgent cares can often feel overwhelming, crowded, or impersonal but this place felt organized, clean, and calm. People are quick to write bad reviews, but not always quick to acknowledge good service. The people here truly made my experience better during a hard and frustrating time. What a gorgeous facility, did not feel like an urgent care nor even doctor office waiting room, and even the rooms were a great size, extremely clean and pleasant to be in. The nursing staff was very friendly (Nick and Darling) and helpful and Dr Phil was super attentive to my needs and provided excellent care with little to no wait whatsoever. I would definitely recommend and go back! Thank you for a great experience today!

I couldn't fall asleep at 3am since I still was on eastern time. I looked here on Yelp if there is a massage services 24 hours in Orange County. I was surprised only a few places were listed. I needed a massage therapist come to my place since I didn't want to go anywhere (it's kind of cold outside compare to South Florida). I called a few places and eventually scheduled my early morning massage session with Apollo, since only he was available at that hour. I called him around 3am and he was already in my hotel room within 20 min. I am not sure how he managed to get to me so fast, but it was just perfect for my schedule. When he arrived, I knew immediately it will be a very good session. He brought massage table, oils, music, sheets, towels etc. (very clean, professional, and organized). I had a 90 minutes session. He did an awesome and unique combination of different massage styles. He was literally separating my bones, going through every muscle of my body which felt amazing! Half of the time he was working on the massage table and another half on the bed. He did a great job relaxing my gluteus and thighs after hard workout the day before (usually at the spa, you don't get a good attention to glutes and hamstrings). He obviously knows all the right pressure points and stretching techniques. He seems very well educated, talented, and he knows a lot about human body. He looks like a professional fitness competitor and I had a great time chatting about workout programs and dieting. After when he left I felt relaxed and energized at the same time. What a great start of the day! I highly recommend him if you are looking for a very comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable massage experience. I'm very pleased and 100% satisfied. Great job! I was looking for mobile male massage therapist to come over to my house when I found Apollo's ad. I checked his profile and website and gave him a call. I wanted asap since my house gets busy by the night time. So, he said he will be in about 30 min and it was around 4pm. He arrived just on time. When I opened the door, WOW! He was really handsome. I got shy in the beginning, but when he spoke to me for a while, I felt we were friends for a long time and I felt very comfortable. Here is what I personally liked about Apollo: 1.He was very handsome and may be it sounds corny, he had blue eyes and I really liked it. I think he could be a very good model. 2.He was a white Eastern European tall man I think in his early 30s with a very athletic body. He is obviously working out a lot. It's very hard to find a white male masseur, specially handsome. Usually they are all Asians. 3.He speaks English very well, even with his accent, so I could explain to him what exactly I wanted from his session. 4.He applied the perfect pressure and his massage skills are above and beyond any expectations. He is a real PRO. 5.He has a big hands, very strong and gentle at the same time. 6.He was right on time when he arrived. 7.He was very polite and friendly. 8.I scheduled 60 min session and he did about 70 min, more then I expected. 9.After his oils my skin didn't feel sticky. 10.He puts a really good massage music. 11.He didn't smell like cigarets, I'm assuming he doesn't smoke. He actually smelt very good. Over all I had a great massage experience with Apollo. He also said he works in Las Vegas where I come out once in a while. I also like he works 24/7, very convenient. Wow...Apollo is fantastic! Not only is he handsome (with a smile that will make you blush, but his muscle body is beyond belief! He is the type of guy that makes heads turn everyplace he goes. Apollo's body is like marble. He is totally shaved all over, with a deep golden tan that he loves to display. His muscles must be seen to be believed, and he uses their strength in his massage techniques. The massage was perfect. It was very easy to schedule and he came with another female massage therapist (Habileny) to our private residence close to San Diego. We had a very relaxing 90 min Swedish massage session each. Habileny was working on my husband and Apollo was massaging my body. I really liked his massage style. He told me it was mix of Swedish massage and Lomi Lomi. He did a full body massage and I felt very comfortable. He relaxed me from head to toes. Had a massage session with Apollo and this was one of the best massages I have gotten even compare to some of the high end spa. He is very personal and really tried to make this more of a custom session than just a generic massage you normally get at a spa. It's well worth the price. I'm a professional massage therapist as well and it was absolutely amazing working with such a talented, organized, professional, and sophisticated male massage therapist. I was under stress and needed a massage very bad, Apollo is a gem, he was very easy to contact, replied very quickly and was very accommodating with schedule and distance. He is a very nice, clean, sophisticated person who would make you comfortable straight away, he's also very knowledgeable with health and fitness and gave me very good advices. Apollo used nice relaxing music and body lotion and released all my tensions, it was a very thorough massage and by the end I was on cloud nine. Definitely a must!
