Have an appointment for May 27 but we were already in the area so I called if I can come in and Jason squeezed me in for a 10:15am appointment with Amy and I appreciate him for accommodating me. Mia was very nice on my 1st appointment and last Saturday was my 2nd and I had Amy, she was very accommodating and both ladies have good customer service for a newbie like me. I was recently diagnosed with Bell's Palsy. I was placed on antiviral and steroid medication by the treating physician for 7 days. During that period of time I saw absolutely no change or improvement of my symptoms. Right side of my face is paralyzed. I opted to try acupuncture. After 1 session my family saw an improvement and I could feel the improvement. For the first time in over 7 days I could blink on my affected side without having to use my fingers to keep my eye closed. I have had 3 acupuncture with stimulation, cupping and additional therapy (light massage/hot sauna) and I can feel a different with each session I complete. The office staff is welcoming and friendly. The environment is warm and the smell of incense as I walk through the door helps remind me of why I am here and feel a sense of healing from the moment I walk in. I am new to acupuncture. I have had back pain since I was a kid (I am now 53) and I have had chronic sciatic pain for the last 3 years in my right leg. I have had an epidural and that did not help. My doctor recommended acupuncture. So far I have had 3 sessions. I have mixed results so far but I was told up front that since I have had these issues for a long time, the results may be slow.
