I am so glad I found Dr Wells and her team! Wanted to update this review by saying that after 2 follow up visits, the good Doctor fixed my right shoulder. I can actually wrench again without pain and have gained 90% of my range of motion. This has to be by far one of the best doctor's offices I have ever been to. The entire front office staff is extremely friendly and helpful with any questions that you might have. In addition, they are very accommodating when it comes to scheduling your next appointment. Next it is very important that you keep your appointments and show up on time because they do not over schedule. They truly respect the patients time. Every time I have been in I am in front of Dr. Wells either at my appointed time or within 2 to 3 minutes afterwards. Dr. Wells is simply amazing. She listens and ask clarifying questions so she knows how to best help you get better. She is a spectacular doctor. Back Country Chiropractic, run by Dr. Jennifer Wells, is the place in the area as far as I am concerned. My whole family has been coming here for several years. Everyone is always friendly, and Jen Wells is great at what she does. The office is clean and professional, and there is an acupuncturist that works out of the office as well. She is very accommodating, and saw me the same day as a new patient, my back was hurting horribly and she fixed me right up. The staff is very friendly too! I originally started going to back country for prenatal care 1 week before my baby was due. I had terrible back and pelvic pain. Dr. G helped my pain become manageable until I had my daughter. I have been going for postpartum appointments and have also brought my baby for adjustments! From being in the birth canal for so long her neck was a little tweaked. Dr. G takes such great care of both of us! I referred my mom and she had Dr. AJ. Where, oh where to begin... The people, atmosphere and services are absolutely amazing; but the RELIEF is beyond words. I started going to Back Country Chiropractic a year ago because the pain in my neck and shoulders was so severe that I couldn't take it anymore and work, daily activities and sleep became difficult. My massage appointments never did me any good so I finally accepted the fact that it might be skeletal and begrudgingly made a same day appointment. This was a huge step for me since 1. I was terrified of getting "one of the bad ones" (chiropractors) that do more harm than good 2. I believed that if something isn't broken then you shouldn't try to fix it. Come to find out, I was extremely broken and needed A LOT of fixing. By the time I met Dr. Wells and Dr. Osbon, I had already been living with my injuries that I had sustained from a Glamis trip for 14 months and I had more than a few vertebrae that were out of place and were causing my incessant pain. Luckily (and thankfully), I was in good hands (pun intended) and I felt immediate relief even after my first adjustment . At first, I visited twice a week until my bones learned to stay in the correct place on their own, then weekly, biweekly and now I go in for a 'tune up' every 4-6 weeks. I am so thankful for Dr. Wells and Dr. Osbon as well as Darlene and Christy who I now look forward to seeing on my visits and appreciate them working with my busy schedule and always having a smile when I get there. This place and these people are far more than a standard doctor's office, they're friends and amazing people that truly care about your well being and I can't imagine going anywhere else. The deal breaker was NOT that you didn't accept my insurance. The chiropractor I am seeing now does not accept my insurance, properly relayed that to me and I am paying cash. It is the lack of communication I was upset with. As I mentioned, I did not mind checking my own insurance if they had simply mentioned they were unable to. What bothered me was the reassurance that it would have been checked before my appointment not once but twice when I had called. My advice to you is that you have your front desk relay that it is a courtesy to check insurance and give cash prices so they can decide if it is something they are able to work with, rather than promising it will be done. They should not say "Don't worry, if it's not covered, we will let you know". It is inexcusable to forewarn someone, especially hours before an appointment. And to say some chiropractors charge after services, well maybe they too should change their practices because the current one I'm seeing does not and knows how to properly communicate with their patients. read more

I've been coming to Dr. Wells for a month and change now. She and her staff are very friendly and fun to talk to. She takes my Kaiser insurance, which is amazing! I couldn't afford the chiropractics I need without that. I always leave feeling great and looking forward to coming back. The office has a masseuse with reasonable rates too, and her massages are just what my sore muscles have been asking for! I originally came here because I have had shooting pains down my left side for the past 7 years. I figured it was a pinched nerve, nerve damage, or something worse. Kaiser has shot me down time and time again, saying I'm too young, that they can't find anything, or that it's all in my head. They have done blood tests, reflex tests, and have come up with nothing. For seven years... and I can be a very pushy patient. I told Dr. Wells about my problem and she figured it out right away! Yipee! Halleluiah! I am so grateful and on the road to recovery. She took X-rays for me and found the problem. I'm glad that I didn't give up. I recommend Dr. Wells to EVERYBODY.
