First! I love these ladies and their humor and overall vibe. Friendly doesn't even explain how nice they are. Anyhow, I've been coming for years and they are my go to for the routine brow wax and mani/pedi combo. I'm not committed to being any type of nail girl. Acrylics, dip, gel, gel fill I've done them all. Well today I tried the Gel-X set and I immediately fell in love with the process. The process was much quicker and so far so good on the appearance. They seem to be holding up strong and I like that they don't fell as thick as Acrylics or the dip. I may finally have to say I'm a Gel X girl. Ask Kathy about them the next time you're open to trying something new. read more

Pros : While my fiancé was getting his haircut, I decided to touch up my nails. I have natural long nails for the first time and decided to get gel with design. The price is amazing and my nail tech Vicky paid close attention to detail and really got my cuticles done well. I loved the after results!! Cons: Something to take note of : the gel paint was a bit clumpy and I had to have one of my nails fixed but overall everything turned out great. I wish my nail was filed a bit more to have that smooth effect but it wasn't. Some nails have a small bubble from the gel which says a lot about the quality of their paint. Lastly, it took over 2 hours to get my nails done which is extremely long ! Majority of the time was going over my cuticles which kinda felt tiring. Still a great job for the price ! read more

I went back for a second time because my first experience was amazing AND the gel stayed on so well! I usually have problems with gel staying on and it usually starts to peel. But it survived 2 weeks in Japan for vacation and 1 week back to normal life schedule. It also never felt thick, it felt like regular paint but it was gel. This time I needed a pedicure as well and I've never had someone take better care of my toenails than they did. I will definitely be back. Thankfully I do not need to keep searching for a nail salon anymore. read more

I been going here for a year or 2 and in the last few months the manager Kathy and one of her co-workers treated me very badly. I asked the co-worker to trim my long almond shape nails slightly and she cut it completely all off. I addressed the issue professionally and got no apology from her. Told the manager I should not have to pay for a service I did not ask for. Since then the manager has been spiteful. Any service I tried to get since the incident happened, she would tell me they can't do. Discrimination and very unprofessional. All of a sudden services that I've gotten from them, they no longer can do for me but they can do for everyone else. It's very unfortunate because I have always tipped very well every time and have a good relationship with other workers there. I shouldn't be treated unfairly due to your co worker messing up on my nails just because I addressed it. You guys are lucky I'm not suing. No one would ever pay for nail service they didn't ask for that wasn't done correctly. Kathy I am unsure how you are the manager when your customer service skills is very poor. I decided to go back to my old spot, it's a few bucks more but I am treated very professionally and my nails look better at Tustin Nail Spa. I give Nailicious a negative zero. read more

I have been coming here for years so I feel bad leaving this review. They have cut me in the past, made my fingers bleed and my nail length has been different sizes but I let all that go. But this time I can't. Their customer service needs major work! I picked a mint color and Jessica, my nail artist, even said that the color is strange but she didn't do anything about it. She could have easily asked me to change the color but she just shook the bottle so I thought everything was fine. As soon I left the salon, I noticed that one hand was fine, but the other hand had yellow tints in the color. I didn't want to seem crazy so I'm like maybe it's the light. I kept driving and realized it wasn't the light. I had NO time to go back as I had plans to go to a hockey game. This nail salon takes forever so I was already there for like 2 hours. And I was going on a work trip for the weekend so I didn't have time to go back. I texted the owner the next morning with pictures and all she said was "when can you come back, I can fix." I told her like 5 times that I couldn't come back because I was going out of town and all she kept saying was I'll fix it. That's not the point!! My work trip was ruined because on one hand I had yellow nails! The hands did not match at all. I asked her if there is anything else she could do. She said "if you take the nail color off, I can give you a free gel manicure." So wait, you want me to do the work but you just want to paint my nails for free. NOT GOOD ENOUGH! I was fed up and didn't even text back. Giving my money back was not even option. To say the least, I will not be going back to this salon. read more

I came here for nails for the weekend. I showed them the photo reference and it had hello Kitty and they said they didn't have it and I understood. But as we started doing the designs, Tammy couldn't do the flowers in the reference photo and decided to draw it. As she kept going she kept changing and changing the design until it wasn't even the reference photo anymore. I am very disappointed, and I don't recommend coming here if you want advanced nail designs. Overall everyone was super nice, it was just the nail design that got me a little upset. I went to this place to get gel nail polish before my international trip. I get my nails done maybe twice a year and since this place had such a high rating, I figured it was safe. I was wrong. The day that my nails were done I noticed discoloring of the polish on my left index nail...Now it's 4 days later and others are changing colors too. Again I only get my nails done a couple of times a year but I'm sure thats not normal. I also think it's not normal that it looks like there's a huge gap like I need a fill already (even from day one). But I was in a rush and had a plane to catch. So here I am on vacation with my hands looking like who did it and why? I'd have been better off just packing some polish and doing my nails myself. read more

I walked in clueless to the terminology used in the nail world, and walked out well educated. I knew what I wanted, and brought a few pics with me, but was unaware that to add length to your nails you have to specify nail extensions. I just said gel manicure. Anyway, long story short, if Vickie had not intercepted on my conversation with the manager about what I wanted, I think the outcome would have been very disappointing. These ladies were very kind and patient, considering all that had happened. I got a gel manicure on my original short stubby nails and had them start all over again to add some length.....Ugh. I hate to leave a bad review because I've been coming here for years. I was warned that having the foil stripped applied to my nails wouldnt last very long but I got it anyways because I was set on a specific design for my nails. I didnt think it would last an hour though. I washed my hands before I left the salon and left to work and got to my office and notice one of the ends lifted. I'm sad about that. I figured it would at least last a few days before lifting. They need to use nail glue maybe instead of whatever they used to stick the foil strip to my nail. read more
