Needed to get my nails redone after having a bad job done at another salon down the street - my powder dip nails were not only chunky from being dipped too many times, but they kept popping off. Not sure what the name of the tech that helped me was, but she was nice. She even commented on how thick my nails were. She did a very nice job on my nails - I was really happy with how they turned out and they held up real nice! No chipping or lost nails. Update: I went back a month later to get my nails done again. This time the tech seemed kinda rushed and was a little more aggressive with her filing and nicked my cuticle a bit. But it was all good after that - she seemed to slow down a bit. Still a nice job on the glitter dip and I'll definitely be back. The shop is small but it's nice and they have a pretty good selection of the dip powder glitter, which is what I like to get. Horrible experience. This place is not clean and their materials are old and some of the bottles were crusty. They did not wash their tools in between customers, and my pedicure did not last more than a few days. I questioned this and they quickly said that they were sanitized. Think twice about this place. First and foremost I've been to this nail salon before Tina and her team took over - before there was even a Bling Nails. Under new management, this little building has become fresh, modern, and "new." I had the pleasure of having Tina work on my manicure, and I cannot be more pleased with the work she did. For my manicure, she had recommended I do dip powder - especially since I had acrylics my nails are more vulnerable and prone to breakage. BEWARE. When reading the reviews on this nail salon, they look good but that's because the reviews were based on their PREVIOUS OWNER. Loreen (business owner listed here on this site) just took over this salon and does not understand customer service or quality materials. I paid for a dip manicure and then had to travel for business. The dip looked good -- until two days later TWO nails popped off completely while I was traveling with my boss (the CEO). I had to run to CVS while in NY to purchase a regular bottle of nail polish to attempt to match the color on my real nail where the power dip popped off. The next day, TWO MORE popped off. Meanwhile, I get a text from BLING Nails with a promotion of 20% off (From Loreen) because she had taken over the salon in the past several months. Now it made sense to me because they are using CHEAPER materials and not doing their due diligence to make sure your hard earned money to actually make the nails last like normal. I called her when I received this text and she said that she would only give me a 20% discount on my next powder dip manicure. I said that would not be enough after traveling like this and that I would call when I got back to make another appointment just to give it another try. HOWEVER, SIX MORE NAILS POPPED OFF -- FOR A TOTAL OF EIGHT NAILS in a two week period. I had regular nail polish on EIGHT NAILS and only two powder dip nails were left over. Needless to say, I was not going back. I texted her that I required a refund and she refused saying that I needed to provide pictures. By this time, I got another manicure at a different place (World Nails in Tustin -- highly recommend - don't go to BLING). Moral of the story: CHEAP MATERIALS and Loreen doesn't understand simple customer service because SHE IS ALSO SO CHEAP that a simple refund could have made a difference. SO BEWARE of the good reviews -- they were about the previous team and owner. read more
