I have been coming here for pedicures for about a year and a half and Lynn has been with me since day #1! I have high potential for ingrown nails on my big toes and she knows EXACTLY how to clean them so that they are comfortable. I have searched for years for someone that is knowledgeable AND kind and that is what I found. If I have ever not liked a color I chose, she has always been willing to change the color and doesn't make me feel bad because she just wants her customers to be happy. I refuse to go anywhere else and can't recommend Lynn enough! The salon itself is clean, spacious, and does not have an overly strong acrylic smell that many salons can have. I have always been treated kindly. Bring cash to pay (for your own savings) but they accept other forms of payment for a fee. There's also always some sort of promo going on to save a buck so sign up for their texts (they're not excessive texts which is nice). My daughter and I visited this nail salon together. She requested a nail design with polka dots and a flower, while I asked for a full set of acrylic nails and a pedicure in red. The woman who did my pedicure was very kind and did an excellent job on my toes! My daughter's nail technician also did her best with a more complicated design, and her nails cost $70. Unfortunately, my experience with Steven, who did my nails, was disappointing. He tried to convince me to get Gel-X instead of the acrylics I originally requested. When I declined, he seemed annoyed. He continued working on my nails and eventually asked if I just wanted a natural look instead of red nails. I felt pressured and agreed. At some point, the woman at the front desk, who I believe was his manager, came over and tapped him on the shoulder, signaling for him to finish. I understand that salons can get busy, but I felt that my service was rushed, and the quality of my nails reflected that. My nails only received one clear coat, so they weren't as shiny as I would have liked. Later, I discovered that they hadn't been properly buffed. They were extremely pointy and rough, kept catching on things, and were even painful. I had to return to the salon, where the woman at the front desk kindly buffed them for me. I also noticed that the cuticle and surrounding skin care had not been completed, as you can see in my nail photo. I understand that another customer may have come in specifically requesting Steven, but I was already there and was also a paying customer. I believe every customer deserves to receive the service they paid for, regardless of how busy the salon gets. I wish Steven had been given enough time to properly finish my nails rather than rushing through my appointment. Overall, I appreciated the kindness and work of the women who helped my daughter and me, but I was disappointed with the service I received for my own nails. I hope the salon takes this feedback into consideration so other customers don't have the same experience. read more

I found Orange Nails Bar on Yelp as I was searching for a last minute pedicure this Sunday afternoon. I called to ask about the price for a gel pedicure & the gal who answered was very pleasant, patient & kind. I was able to get in within the hour. Upon arriving, this place is located right next to stater brothers & there was plenty of parking. The vibe was very bright, and welcoming. They had many stations for both pedicures & nails. The ambiance was relaxing & they offered me a complimentary water or soda of my choice. Mindy did my pedicure. She was friendly, very gentle with cleaning my cuticles & very meticulous while doing my French tip gel pedicure. The location is clean and very esthetically pleasing. The staff were very friendly, offered a refreshment to drink. My reason for a 3 star is for my Gel X set. I had to let her know that the length on my thumbs were different (extremely noticeably different). Usually they put each nail next to each other before moving on to ensure the lengths are the same, but she missed that step. After that correction and completing the shaping I noticed that one of my middle fingers was filed too much on left side making my nail curve to the right. When I mentioned this she stated it was my nail bed that was cerved. I have never had this issue in all the years I have been getting my nails done. She was nice and did her best to corrected it, I was just thrown off by the comment. Overall my nails are okay, just not quite what I expected especially for the price. read more

Van and Abbie were the BEST nail techs I've ever gone to. Van was so welcoming and kind. She shaped my nails perfectly. Abbie did the design and did it better than what I showed her. They both worked with me and talked me through the best color choices to make my nails beautiful. They were so nice during the whole process, so efficient too. I love my nails so much, I'm only coming back to them from now on! Van also gave the best hand massage ever. Van did my eyebrows as well when I asked. I've only been to Herbal Nails & Spa twice, and I can confidently say this place has earned a forever client. My first visit, I booked a builder gel manicure with Steven and immediately fell in love. Not only did I get nonstop compliments, but the gel lasted a solid three weeks before I even thought about changing the color. Fast forward to my most recent visit, I went back for the same builder gel manicure with Steven and added a gel pedicure with Van, and WOW. Both of them are incredibly kind, professional, fast, and detail-oriented. You can truly tell they care about their work and their clients. Every visit has been an amazing experience. I live over half an hour away and happily make the drive because this salon is 100% WORTH IT. I even decided to really test the longevity of the builder gel and let my nails grow out. It's been almost five and a half weeks, and they're still going strong. That alone speaks volumes. (I'll be going in this weekend to switch colors for Christmas because I can't resist LOL.) However, the cashier experience was very disappointing. It was my family's first time here, and I was told over the phone that new customers receive 20% off. When paying, the cashier (a younger girl) insisted we redo everything into separate transactions and kept changing how the discount was applied. The checkout process was confusing, frustrating, and took far longer than it should have. Also, please note, it isn't 20% your entire bill for new customers, but only one service- the one that is priced higher. Took like 30 min to check out! Worst most expensive pedicure and nails ever. I made an appointment with Emily in advance. Then I went a little early on the day of my appointment and told them who I was there to see. She asked what I wanted and I said I have an appointment with Emily for acrylics and a pedicure. She said no you can't do that because Emily doesn't do acrylics. I said well I made the appointment online for that but OK then I will take someone else. Then she argued with me on why I needed to get gel X. I told her no, I do not want gel X she still tried to convince me and I said no, I just want my acrylics and a pedicure. So they gave me someone else. They did my nails and pedicure at the same time. I was doing work on my phone and look to my left and three nails in and asked the guy "What are you doing" because my nails were burning. He said oh I'm doing gel X. Really??? I've never gotten them before, and I didn't want them. So now I was stuck with them. They are more expensive and you have they can't be filled. What a waste of money. She did my pedicure and it was almost $100 and the worst job that I've ever had. I literally looked 100 times worse when I left there then when I went in. The pedicure was awful. For almost $100 and the actual pedicure lasted about 20 minutes and the rest of it was her trying to paint my nails. The nails were terrible too. I got ombré and there was overspray on my fingers for two days. I could not get it off. It looked horrible. Almost $200 down the drain. I couldn't done a better job myself. Do not waste your hard earned money here. If I wouldn't have paid cash, I would've asked for a charge back from the bank read more

Sen provided my service today, and her work was spectacular. She made me feel very comfortable and had such a naturally bright and welcoming smile that helped me open up, especially since I can be pretty shy. She was incredibly patient with me, helped me with my choices, and gave thoughtful suggestions without making me feel pressured. I also really appreciated that she gave me the opportunity to voice any concerns I had, whether it was about accidentally hitting my toes against the light or wondering if the color looked too light before setting them under the lamp. She really listened and made sure I was happy before moving forward. Sen also has amazing attention to detail, especially with the cuticle work and nail trimming.
