I wanted to try out this location, and it went great :) My first time coming here, my first impression was clean, and positive energy from the staff/nail technicians! They have the nail color sections and you can take a look by yourself without pressure. I planned to get a medium almond gel X, they didn't have specifically this one but my technician Anna, reshaped and managed the length nicely. Anna was very detailed with my design and constantly asked me if i liked how it looked to make sure. I really loved this about her. Thank you Anna! Only the thing I would say is that they are pretty busy and they put you in a tight spot in a their schedule. So I would recommend to give them a heads up if you want to get any designs! I didn't know about this, and there was a next person already waiting for Anna while I was still getting my nails. Great things about the staff and Anna was that Anna didn't do any poor job by rushing or didn't make me feel rushed. But just to be polite and respectful to the next person, we need to always let the front desk know if we are getting the design when we make an appointment, otherwise the staff assumes that you are getting not complicated design and you might make other people wait. I loved my experience at Dylan Blue Nail Spa! I made an appointment for my mom and I only 30 minutes in advance and they were more than accommodating. We arrived on time and they were ready for us. They have a large selection of polish colors to choose from and even have some really cool options like cat eye (magnetic designs). If you go in for a manicure I highly suggest requesting Jayden! He was incredible! I felt like he really cared about me, my nails, and my experience. I showed him a photo of what I wanted and he delivered better than I imagined! He preserved my natural nails for the most part- only adding nail tips to finger nails that had broken right before coming in. I am so happy with the result. I originally went in for a pedicure, but asked to add a classic manicure while there. The salon is clean and the atmosphere is nice. I was greeted by name when I arrived and check in. I've always had a nice experience with their pedicures. The pedicurist was friendly and efficient. I was happy with the results. My issue is with the manicure. The manicurist seemed to be in a rush even though the place wasn't busy. If they didn't have someone who could give me a quality manicurist available, I wish they would have told me. She was rough filing my nails and clipping my nails. A few of my fingers are red and sore. I asked for a clear polish. I didn't realize a clear polish is only one coat of top polish. My nails didn't even look smooth, possibly due to the filing. I looked at them puzzled. She asked if it was okay. I said it didn't even look smooth, so she added another coat of top coat. It took her less than 20 mins to do my pedicure. I will not be going back, even thought I liked the pedicure and enjoyed past pedicures there. read more

Gigi is absolutely amazing. I started going to her in September and my nails have never been healthier. At other places, I was used to rings of fire and walking out of appointments not quite satisfied with my nails (not only in design but maintenance of them). She is so attentive and detail-oriented. Whether it's shade match, super complex designs, the right shape of french tip, or shape of nails, Gigi takes her time to make sure it's to your liking. Used to come here all the time when they first opened and would always recommend it. I stopped going because my gel would lift after a week and I went back again after a few years thinking maybe it's gotten better but nope got my gel done on a Wednesday and a week later it's lifting and chipping. Vivian is the absolute best. Highly recommend her for amazing Gel Builder nails. Gel builder nails are not gel nails as they last longer, but they're still thin and beautiful. Much preferred over acrylic, dip, or gel stand alone. The customer service here is outstanding from the time you enter until you pay and leave. The management does a wonderful job. DON'T be fooled by the decor, Dylan Blue Nail Spa does NOT care for customers and does NOT provide a quality service whatsoever-- you are merely seen as a cash grab. I had been going to this salon for YEARS. Since they first opened the store, and I am baffled at how I was treated today. I had made an appointment over the phone, as I always had done, and their employee told me the only time they could take me in was 3:30 pm, so I cleared my schedule to come at that time. As shown in the images provided, I was even sent a CONFIRMATION TEXT saying 3:30 pm. Now, 10 minutes before my appointment I receive a call saying that my appointment was at 3:10 pm and they can no longer take my mother and I because they are "too busy". What is the point of even making an appointment if you're going to do this to your customers?? Especially after all of these years coming here. I was told that I would have to wait until 5 pm-- to which I said no, and the employee said then I would have to wait 45 minutes, and they can take my mom now?! Why are you lying to me continuously. All you care about is moneyyyyyy!!! The employee was NOT respectful whatsoever, and kept telling me that it was "because of their system problem", which is not true because I got a confirmation saying 3:30 pm... On top of this, every time I come here, they make your hands BLEED, ruin your cuticles, and charge ABSURDLY HIGH PRICES for the most basic sets. I was charged $90 for just a Gel X set with chrome. I will NEVER be coming back here after how I was treated today, and recommend nobody else to go to this salon. Local nail artists do a much better job, for a fraction of the price, and actually value your time and money as a customer. I've been a visitor at Dylan Blue Nail Spa for a few years. Today, my young teen daughters and I visited the salon. I originally made an appointment for 3 regular pedicures, 1 regular mani, and 2 acrylic nails. The salon wasn't able to seat us all together, which was fine. After I finished my service (regular mani/pedi), I had to leave to run an errand while my daughters finished their appointment. When my husband came to pick up my girls and pay their bill, he shared the total with me, and I was absolutely dumbfounded. There were 5-6 significant upcharges that the salon had applied (e.g., they upgraded the pedicure, charged extra for a "cuticle trim", charged an exorbitant extra for a nail design, charged another extra that I didn't even understand what it was for, etc.). I called the salon to question the total charge. They provided a weak explanation as to how they arrived at the total. My issue is that they never informed the customer that services would cost extra, and it seems that they took advantage of the fact that their clients were young and sitting without a parent in order to add service upon service to rack up the total. The salon did offer me a small credit to my account when I requested a refund for some of the upcharges. However, I'm disgusted by the technicians taking advantage of my daughter's inexperience as customers. My daughters didn't understand the technician's English and were unaware that they were being offered "extras" at an extra charge. It feels like sneaky business practices, and I won't be frequenting this business again, so the credit is useless to me. --- To respond to the owner's response: It's false that the technicians informed my girls of the additional charge. The owner even admitted in my follow-up phone call with her that the nail technician didn't verify an upcharge with one of my daughters. The technician assumed that because one girl got the upcharge, then the other would want the similar upcharge. It's also not true that all of the upcharges were explained in our phone call. Only some of them could be explained. It's false that the nails were worked on for "nearly 2 hours". The appointment lasted 1hr, 20min from start to finish, which I know precisely because there's a time stamp on the text exchange with my girls. The acrylic nails in the photo cost $70. I'm not sure what the design upcharge was for since there's no design...?! I'm not a happy and satisfied customer, not by a long shot. read more

I love this nail salon so much; the techs are great, the atmosphere is relaxing, and it's always spotless. That being said, I do think there could be more attention paid to detail. I love my nail tech so I won't be specifying names but I got my nails done last night and felt like they could've been cleaner. The edges are a little messy, each tip is a different shade due to the thickness of the coat, and the clean-up job on the French tips is subpar (shown in photos). I did bring things to her attention as she did them but noticed these flaws when I got home. I do highly recommend this salon but would recommend being specific during the process if you're getting a design or art. read more

I was recommended to this place by a friend, even though I've been loyal to the same nail salon for the past 5 years. I decided to try something new and I don't regret it AT ALL. From the moment I booked my appointment the ladies there treated me with such patience and kindness. I called an hour before and they were able to squeeze me in with the sweetest lady Lan! They have a wide variety of colors and are very attentive to cuticle care. The nails I wanted turned out exactly how I expected. Clean, glossy, and classic. I've been going to this nail salon for the past couple years and I usually have a good experience. I had the technician Jackie, I showed her a picture of the shape and color I wanted and she glanced at it very quickly. I decided to get builder gel with tips, I've gotten this multiple times so I'm aware of the steps. Jackie was going through everything quickly and not fully coating the nail with polish, and placing a thick layer of the gel on, when I tried to explain the shape was off she said she would fix it later on. I was patient but once she was done shaping I could see a lot of them were still different so I mentioned it again and when she went to fix it they still looked off. I also asked her if she could clean/file underneath and she just picked off some product with her own nails, they feel very bulky. At the end, I went to pay and the lady checking me out (I believe it's the owner) could tell I wasn't happy with the service. She asked me what was wrong and I complained about the shape, she offered to have Jackie fix it but at this point they were already bulky and missing nail polish on the sides so I didn't want them to be shorter and look worse. I thought they'd offer a discount since it was obvious I was not happy but no. In total for myself and my sister it was $130. I tipped Jackie $5, and she asked me again what was wrong and I showed her but I honestly didn't trust her to fix it. She gave me a nail file package and told me I could fix the shape myself? I can't see this being worth $65 ($70 with tip). Unfortunately, I won't be returning. read more

Very upset about my last experience here. I've been here a handful of times and always have a good experience. I was in a few days ago and as my tech was halfway through filling my nails she asked me to wait so she can go fix a nail of a woman who came in with a broken nail. I told her I'm in a rush as I have to pick up my daughter in 45 mins. She said it won't take long. She spent the next 15 minutes fixing another woman's nail mid service. There were at least 4 other nail techs sitting around on their phones and yet they chose the one who was working on me to go help this other woman. The SNS powder on my nails is not thick enough and you can see right through the color. Overall they look incomplete and definitely needed another coat.
