OC Waxbar is not a chain, this operation is a one woman show, that said I have been going to see Ronda for YEARS! She is absolute professional and super friendly. Her studio is very clean, comfortable and most importantly: PRIVATE! If you are planning to go there for your first waxing session, she is the best. She will tell you what she is going to do and tell you a little bit about hair follicle and the directions of how the hair grows so then the next session with her the procedure isn't at all painful. Don't get me wrong... waxing is painful, however not so painful when Ronda does it. If you are wondering if she is thorough? She IS very thorough. I've gotten waxed professionally for over 10 years every 4-6 weeks all over from San Diego up to San Francisco and I try my best to find that ONE Brazilian waxing extraordinaire who hits the following marks: 1) PRICE- reasonable for the area AND offers special pricing for repeat customers. 2) WAX- type used is comfortable. I've tried many different kinds and you may have a preference, but this one was fine for me and no irritation. 3) TWEEZING- at the end to make it as thorough and perfect as possible. Obviously necessity depends on the type of hair you have and how much, but regardless, we pay for estheticians to get EVERY SINGLE ONE! 4) SCHEDULING- easy via online or text. Always managed to fit me in when I needed a change. 5) PAYMENT- can be done with card with no additional fees. 6) PARKING- this is a big for me. Plenty of parking in this plaza. I used to get waxed by amazing people when living in SD, but parking is SUCH a pain along the beach. Doesn't matter if they're so good if it takes forever to find parking and/or you have to get validated.
