There is nothing negative to say about my first waxing experience with Jen. I scheduled a waxing appointment for brows, underarms, and a Brazilian and I was out of there in about 20 minutes. Jen is not only extremely talented in her craft but also the most pleasant person to interact with. If a person can make you laugh while ripping hairs off your body at the same time, never let them go. Now let's talk about what you really want to know - did it hurt? Because I have moved around a lot in the last 10 years of my life, I have been waxed by many different people. I can confidently say that my waxing experience with Jen was the least painful appointment I have ever had. She is quick and her wax formula is gentle. I sometimes breakout on my face after I get my brows waxed, but there is not a breakout in sight today! I feel so relieved to have found my forever wax person. Thank you Jen! read more

I had a great experience here with a Brazilian wax, it was very quick, not painless but it was so fast that I didn't have time to process the pain. She was very sweet, the environment was warm and cozy. Highly recommend for any first timers or regulars, if you are having a busy day, 100% come here. Just got a wax from Jenn :) She is AMAZING. It's already been almost a year since I've been getting my waxes with Jenn. Her response time is quick, and she's just so professional while being so sweet and loving person. I'm always shy like it's my first time getting the wax, but Jenn always helps me relax and be comfortable. And to talk about wax, I've only got waxed from Jenn, but can tell that her waxing hurts less than other waxing methods. Her suite is really clean and sanitized too, if anyone is worried about that. Came in a few months ago for my first time which when I booked, I let her know and she kept emphasizing how quick and easy it would be. Well... she WAS trying to be quick, but it was SUPER painful. I kept asking her to wait inbetween every few waxes because I needed a minute to just recover from the pain but she wasn't listening. she just kept going and going and going. Finally I told her to stop and she did... annd... then she just kept going. It felt ljke she was just squeezing me in and was trying to get me out of the door ASAP. It was pretty brutal. I pretty much left in tears. Will be the last time I ever do that again. read more

I have nothing but great things to say about Jenn! I went to her for 2 years and just moved out of state and don't know how I'm gonna find someone as good as her! The wax was never painful and she honestly made the experience very enjoyable. She was so personable and I looked forward to catching up with Jenn about life during my appointments. I got perfect results every wax and she was super easy to make an appointment with. She was always accommodating and was even able to switch appointment times the day of if something came up for me! I had the best wax experience here! If you are looking to get waxed for the first time I would recommend Jenn! I am coming from out of town and needed to find a wax place asap- so I did by fair amount of Yelp research and this place seemed like a fit. Obviously I was a bit nervous because I've only have had one wax lady my entire life lol. BUT JENN DID WONDERS. I usually do full Brazilian and abdomen/back area and when I say there was little to no pain after my session GURL I MEAN IT. My waxer back home uses hard wax on me and Jenn used soft wax( this was my first time using soft) AND OMG I AM NEVER GOING BACK TO HARD WAX. With hard wax my skin usually is really red/throbbing after the session (I am very sensitive to pain) and I'm wobbling like a penguin! Jenn and her magic really made me feel soft with no pain post session! THANK YOU JENN YOU HAVE CHANGED HOW I WILL BE WAXING MY PUNANI FOR LIFE. 6/5 stars strongly recommend!!! I been coming here for couple times already and best decision ever! Jenn is knowledgeable and honest, my cycle was really off from going to European ( where they always say come back three weeks without checking your hair cycle and it messed it up). I've been going to see Jenn for almost a year now (March 2022). As someone who suffers from social anxiety it's hard to find places to truly feel comfortable in especially with something as personal as waxing. Jenn has always made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I'm usually not a talker but her energy is so calming and relaxing that I am able to be myself. Always a great experience I have never been burned or over waxed or been left in pain. It's actually very quick, easy and painless and I credit that to her technique. Love Jenn. She replies promptly, tries to accommodate you and then during the appointment is really fun to chat with. I bring both my daughters to her, and she's great with them. Highly recommend her. Just beware that you have to call her when you arrive and cell phone service is not great, so be a little patient if you don't get through to her on the first call. read more

Idk silly to me that they can't accommodate that considering other locations give 9 minutes. I think the annoying part about all of this is I've waited well over 10 minutes at this location before to get services but 1 minute past their grace period is where they draw the line.

The lady on the phone told me she will not tell me the prices on the phone and I have to look it up myself online so I went and looked at Cosmo prices which is the name that's on the board outside of the salon and the phone number I called and saw the prices and decided to go there. Then when I went in she told me that the sign outside of the establishment is not the name of the establishment and they have different prices. (mind you there is no other establishment next-door to them that does nails) I went in expecting the charge to be $52 and they ended up charging me $72. That was the first bad thing, they refused to tell me what the prices are. They have the wrong sign outside the door and they did absolutely nothing to rectify the mistake. 2. People doing my nails, barely spoke any English so when I told them that I want the shape of my nail to match the shape of my nail bed, they didn't understand, and the shapes were slanted and stupid looking. I ended up asking them for the Nail file after they finished and reshaped my nails myself while they waited. 3. There was supposed to be a two minute massage on the pedicure, but the person literally just rubbed lotion on the top of my foot and my ankle ankles and never rubbed the bottom of my feet. 4. When it came to taking care of the cuticles, the lady never soaked my right hand, but she soaked my left hand and cold water.

My boyfriend brought me here because my face was red and sensitive in the flare up areas. He has been coming here since 2021 and his skin looks amazing. When I first came I was starting to see texture and kinda rough patches on my face/cheeks. I started seeing Satik to help manage those flare ups. Her treatments helped my skin so much. After seeing her my skin has been cleaner, softer, and breaking out less. I have included photos from before and after. Continually coming to see her has helped maintain my skin healthy and glowy. She uses a European extraction technique that is not very common because it can be difficult to do, however I only trust Satik. She's been doing this for so long and knows what she is doing. What's worked for me and my boyfriend with our acne is not only the facials but also the products we use on our skin. Diet helped me initially with calming my acne but everyone is different. My boyfriend has never changed his diet he just has been coming here for treatments and it's reversed the texture he's had on his cheeks and helped minimize fine lines.

You can stop looking for new waxing spots, Jenn is FANTASTIC! Not only is she extremely sweet and friendly but she truly knows how to wax, She is quick but very thorough. Ive been waxing for many years and this was by far my best experience yet. She is located inside of Phenix Salons at The District and has a super cute quaint room that makes you feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation.
