KAY's ESTHETICS I think I finally found my California location for my waxing needs!!! This all started as a Yelp event I was invited to in Vegas and wanted to be consistent ever since then but I didn't want to go somewhere else since I already had a good place to go to. But I'm in California so I needed to find someone and thank goodness for this place! Literally down the street from work and Kay is so pleasant! She's got everything so organized from booking her appointments, her actual waxing suite, and even reminded me of my appointment and made sure I found the place since it was inside a building that shared other businesses. Her online booking was so easy and very nice, it was actually impressive! She also gives first timers a discount which I appreciated. Then as soon as I stepped into her suite, it was so cute and beautifully decorated! Wow, I got even more excited! She gave me a wipe and a nice wrap to put around my body and even the wrap was nice! It was like a thick towel that you velcro around. It's the little things that impress me! She was so helpful and gave me so many tips on aftercare and even offered me an exfoliating glove with aftercare instructions. I'm so happy I found her because most places do sugaring and the other type of waxing so I'm so happy she does the same method as the one in Vegas! I went to Kay today for the first time and I immediately loved her energy and the coziness of her room. I don't like when places are big and white because it feels like an empty big white box, but Kay's room was so homey and safe. She made sure to ask me all the questions of if it's my first time, how often I wax, etc. I've waxed myself so many times, but it takes quite a long time and it hurts. Kay is located upstairs inside Phenix Salon Suites. You will enter and make a left, room 113. Her room is clean and pink and I must say her vibe is immaculate! I was given a micro towel to wrap myself in and a wet wipe to clean. I was mentally preparing myself for the pain so when the pain was not there, I asked why is that. She uses hard wax. (The place I used to go uses soft wax with strips so it was a bit painful!) I am so relieved because all this time I was getting Brazilians with hard wax-ouch! Not anymore! I went in today for a Brazilian wax, full butt wax, sugar hand scrub and aromatherapy head massage. Kay was so amazing and talked to me the whole time during my service. Due to recent health issues I'm so sensitive everywhere, but she was so understanding and she gave me breaks. She made me feel comfortable and kept talking to me, which helped out a lot.
