I normally don't like to leave reviews even but went in for pedicures this morning with my mom and they were bad. The ladies were rude and rushed , barely asking us any questions about ourselves or making conversation and rushed through the service not even trying to make them relaxing or not awkward, they mostly just spoke to each other the whole time. It was whatever but then when we went to pay they wanted us to Zelle or Venmo them and said they didn't take card. My mom doesn't use those things and asked them if she could pay with card which they acted like was an insane request, she then brought over the receipts saying " tip! Tip! Tip! Tip!" I don't think I've ever in my life been asked to tip like that and I'm a beauty service provider myself and would never say that. Because I go during lunch, I consistently only get pedicures. I occasionally come after work and get manis or nails. I've had a couple of past bad experiences but have let them go, no big deal but this time around, I couldn't! I was really upset!! I got the basic pedi for $25, ended up waking out with a $62 bill I knew I was gonna have to pay extra for French tip, no problem but when they start asking and adding without letting you know it will be extra; that's B*S* I didn't even get my big toe nails cut, the tip was round instead of straight. I wanted to like this place, but I can't. I went in for a powder dip manicure and a regular pedicure on Thursday. I repeatedly asked for powder dip, no gel and no UV lamp. Powder dip doesn't require UV lamp curing. The person doing my nails insisted on curing each layer with a clear gel and UV lamp. The results on the outside, appeared fine. But because of improper application, the powder paint has all come off my nails as if they were nothing more than cheap stick ons. It's been 3 days. Including the tip for the powder dip manicure and the pedicure, I spent over $100. It was overall a waste of money. The first photo is what my nails looked like when I left the salon on Thursday. The second is what my nails look like now, after just three days. See how the painted is just popped right off? The paint popped off doing simple, everyday tasks. NEVER in my 50+ years have a EVER received a service without leaving a tip. Until Today!!!! I just got a gel manicure, basic pedicure, and eyebrow wax. The manicure and pedicure were fine, but the person that did the waxing was trying to push my eyeballs through the back of my head while applying the waxing tape. Even though she was unnecessarily rough, she still would've received a tip. The reason I decided not to any of them for the first time in my life was because they were all extremely rude. They made no attempt at engaging in conversation with the patrons and spoke amongst themselves in Vietnamese for the entire two hours. In addition the woman was so rude to me and overpriced me for such a basic set. If the set had turned out good, it would be understandable. However that wasn't the case. i have frequented this nail salon for the past couple of years and have always been happy with their services and friendliness, BUT yesterday I took my adult daughter with me to celebrate her birthday and from the moment we sat down in their chairs, we were treated rudely.
