This review is loooonggg overdue, but it's well deserved. I've been coming here since they opened, and I think it's safe to say I've found my go-to nail spot! Every single time, the quality is consistently amazing. I usually get gel, and it lasts me well over a month. No chips or lifting at all! The prep is super thorough, which I really think is what makes the gel last so long. My nails stay strong and hard underneath, and even after a month they still look fresh. I've also gotten Gel-X a few times when I want extra length, and they always turn out really nice. I always leave happy with how my nails look.

This nail salon has the best prices in the area and they are very clean and overall the atmosphere is just a great vibe and the staff is very friendly! The older lady with the glasses (maybe Tracy, that's what her gel curing light was labeled) I asked to have two nails repainted. I just came from another salon and requested a polish change. I asked how she was doing and she said good. She was so rude to me, treated me as if what I was asking was such an inconvenience for her. She was going back and forth with others in viet about what I was asking for. She demanded SO DO YOU WANT BLACK OR WHITE? She said something to her coworker and her coworker giggled. I had already specified I wanted black, and if she wasn't capable of doing the design I understand and will ask for something else. "NO, ONE MORE TIME!" Was all she said to me the whole time. It was when I removed my hand after the top coat, she wouldn't look up at me, just grab my hands like I'm a problem. I politely said thank you after the service was complete and nothing, I tipped her and she didn't even look up at me nothing, no thank you nothing like huh

I absolutely love coming here! The salon is always clean, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. Everyone is so kind, patient, and attentive, and they truly go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable and welcomed. They even offer you a drink during your service, which is such a nice touch! They do an amazing job with nail designs and are always willing to bring your ideas to life. I got a full set today with French tip and Brian did such a great job. He was very gentle when filing my nails and he did my nails pretty fast and I was in and out of there pretty quickly. This nail salon has the best prices in the area and they are very clean and overall the atmosphere is just a great vibe and the staff is very friendly! I am SO glad i found this gem. I was a loyal customer to my previous nail shop and unfortunately quality went downhill. I have tried MANY nail salons in Orange and at first seem great then something disappoints me. After reading many reviews on local salons I decided to give this place a try. I called and asked if they can squeeze me in on a Friday. Brian did my nails and let me just tell you he's amazing. He takes his time and he's patient as i never know what color i want. Angel did my pedi and she was great. I left feeling like finally maybe i found my new place. Clean, friendly tons of colors! Fast forward to yesterday, I went in for a fill. I have my girl at the salon, Tara. She always takes her time with her work. She is super patient, very welcoming and always double checks her work. When I want a design but not sure what to get, I let her get creative and she's always on point. Not only with the designs but my nails overall. I've been coming specifically to her for the past 2 years and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. She always makes sure I have great quality nails and I always leave the salon with a compliment from a different customer. My answer "It was all Tara, I just sat there". Great job Tara! Called them same day to book an appointment for two ppl and they took us! Soo nice and sweet they gave me a complimentary drink. I don't get my nails done a lot but they were patient when putting up with my indecision and confusion I changed my mind like 5 times. First time I've ever liked artificial nails bc they listened to what I wanted! So sweet I don't live around there I just randomly looked them up on yelp but I may make the drive back just because they were so cool. read more

Glossy Nails absolutely the Best Nail Salon I've ever been to. They did an amazing job on my nails and pedicure. Brian and Tara are truly the most outstanding Nail Techs that I have ever had the pleasure of entrusting with my nails , and their works are always perfect. These are some of the few nail sets I have gotten at Glossy since 2023!! Ever since the first set, I have been coming to this salon because the service is impeccable every time, and they just get better and better. The salon itself is clean, cute, and there's always good music playing. Brian, Tara, and every other employee does a great job. Whether it's pedicures, manicures, acrylic, gel x or dip sets I have done it all, and I love my nails every single time! I have also brought many family members here, and they also love the services Glossy offers. A good nail salon is hard to find, so I'll forever be glad I found Glossy. Pros: - Staff is always welcoming/friendly - store is neat and clean - lots of color options available - walk-ins and appointments available - they also have an ig page that shows all the designs they've worked on @glossynailsnspa Prices are definitely fair for the great amount of detail they put into their work! You can confidently walk in there and not care who you get as your nail tech because everyone is so so good. They definitely vetted every person they hired. A very talented nail tech with an eyebrow slit (I believe his name is spelled Wynn) did my pedicure and polish, and KIM did my manicure. They both checked in with me throughout the services to make sure I was happy with everything, and they did an AMAZING job. I'm super satisfied with both the customer service and the quality of their work. ***UPDATE: My nails survived five days in Cabo filled with tons of walking and swimming! I'm officially a month in, and these are the longest-lasting acrylic nails I've ever had WITHOUT lifting or getting caught in my hair. That alone says a lot about the quality of their work!*** Definitely coming back.

This was my first pedicure since having my baby, so my feet definitely needed some love. My technician was so thorough and gentle, and it was probably one of the best pedicures I've had in a long time. I also had an ingrown toenail that had been bothering me, and she was able to take care of it so gently without making the experience painful or uncomfortable. I love how natural and clean my nails look. They feel strong without being super thick or bulky, and I feel like they hold up so much better than what I've done in the past. I always get compliments on my nails, especially the designs and how clean they look. Kunie is so meticulous and creative, and she definitely keeps up with the latest trends and techniques. She's also really knowledgeable about builder gel and what works best for my nails. I can bring her an idea and she'll make it work for me, or I can just trust her to come up with something. I asked for an acrylic full set medium but instead she gave me gel x short nails, which is not at all what I want. Usually I'm able to verbalize my concerns but this whole place gave me the ick and didn't want them talking about me (which I know they do because they were talking about another patron after she left). I will not be going back. The male who did my pedicure (Denny) was pleasant and even told the lady to not make comments. Nail salons are supposed to be a place where you feel pampered and good. This place did the opposite, my entire mood was ruined and I texted my husband throughout how awful of an experience I had. And she cut me twice and I started bleeding. Response to management: I specifically asked for builder gel, however she said I should really do gel x and I said I prefer the builder gel. As she began prepping my nail she asked AGAIN that i really should do gel x which i then responded "okay" because she kept repeatedly asking me even though i asked for builder gel specifically. This is not my first time at a nail salon. In addition, I never once said they were talking poorly about someone in their native language. I have worked with many a people and work in places that others speak comfortable in their native language. It is in poor taste of you as a business owner to assume I felt offended and or uncomfortable with people speaking in their native language. I visibly saw them point at a customer and them talking about how she didn't want to pay for gel despite agreeing to the serve. So please don't assume what I heard versus what I know to have happened, it is in very poor taste. Lastly, I have several pictures I can show as well where I was cut (twice on my finger nails) and once on my pinky toe which required the nail technician to have to stop the bleeding with a cotton ball.

Suggesting I pay for an entirely new set rather than standing behind your work was disappointing. While I understand accidents can happen, accountability is measured by how a business resolves them. Unfortunately, my overall experience--from the injury to the quality of the services and the resolution offered--did not meet the standards expected from a salon with your pricing. I stand by my review and hope this feedback leads to improved training, quality control, and customer care for future clients. By the way, still no call from a "manager."

Unfortunately, instead of patience and kindness, we were met with judgment. Because she had a hard time sitting still, people would make faces, seem frustrated, and treat her like she was a burden. As a mom, that was heartbreaking to watch, and I could see it affecting her confidence. Then I found Michelle's salon completely by chance through work, and it truly felt like a blessing from God. From the very first visit, Michelle and the entire team welcomed my daughter with open arms. They were patient, gentle, encouraging, and made the experience fun instead of stressful. They never made her feel like she was "too much." Instead, they made her feel seen, accepted, and beautiful. Today my daughter is 5 years old, has since been diagnosed with severe ADHD, and she still gets excited every time I tell her we're going to see Michelle. She feels comfortable there, confident there, and genuinely loved. As a mother, there is nothing more meaningful than seeing your child embraced for who they are. Michelle goes out of her way to make my daughter feel welcome whenever she comes with me. She'll play with her, let her join in during my spa pedicure, and make her feel just as pampered. I love that you can choose from so many different packages - I've done the CBD package a couple times and it feels amazing. I also loooove the massages they give with pedicures - the hot stones are a game changer. My former nail studio was super expensive and I had two gel x nails pop off from one set. I used to love them, but they seemed like the service was declining. When I came here with a friend, I could see the incredible attention to detail and service! My nails last forever and they always look great! And one final note - this last time my nail techs for both my fingers and toes decided they weren't happy with one nail (my pinky finger and my big toe). I didn't even notice the issues and they both redid the nails just because they knew it wasn't perfect. I was so thankful and impressed - I have never had someone do that, let alone two people at the same time! This really hit it home that this place is a great nail spot.

When she got home and showed me her nails, it was clear that the quality of the work did not reflect the $60 price tag or the nearly two hours spent at the salon. My daughter was especially upset because this was meant to be a special birthday treat. I brought her back to the salon and spoke with who I believe was the manager. I appreciated how quickly he addressed my concerns and had the technician correct the nails. While the second attempt looked better, the overall result looked ehh. I do want to recognize the manager for trying to make things right, but based on this experience, I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon.

I came here for a pedicure and Michelle was awesome!! I got to the salon shortly after they opened so it wasn't busy and they helped me right away! It was a nice chill environment with nice music playing! Everyone seemed really nice and friendly but Michelle was top tier! She did an excellent job on my pedicure and my massage was heavenly! She asked a couple times if I wanted any additional services but didn't push or pressure me to get something I didn't want! I LOVE this nail salon! I'm a hairstylist so I know when the artist/stylist cares about their work. And every artist at Glossy Nails is precise and neat with their work.
