I have been going to Ivy for 5 years now and I will continue going to her for my nails for as long as she is in the business! Before finding her I never really got my nails done because I would always leave the salon somehow disappointed with the service and the way my nails looked. I can be very particular in the way I like things and Ivy understands that. Ivy always steps up to the plate and even makes suggestion that actually makes sense. I dislike when techs "pressure" you with their suggestions which you can usually tell they are suggesting to either make more money or to make their work easier. This salon has gone through some changes, I can't speak on the nail techs or services from past management. However, I've seen the changes made to the salon and it has been an upgrade. It looks more inviting and clean. Which in my opinion is a plus! read more

I love this place! In comparison to local nail salons, this place is a bang for your buck. High quality services provided at a fraction of the cost of other places. I had a super deluxe pedicure, basic manicure with gel polish, lip wax, and eyebrow wax for $86. Some places in the area charge that for just a deluxe pedicure. The staff is friendly and helpful. Was reprimanded as if I were in grade school for not telling her ahead of time that I wanted a french tip on my nails when she didn't ask me over the phone if I wanted a design. She was also very rude when painting my nails and harshly grabbing my hand to stay in place (I'm literally a statue when I know the nail tech is doing a design). Literally the most uncomfortable experience ever. Atmosphere was tense and uninviting. I no longer recommend anyone to go here. The new management made it very clear they prefer their own clients & couldn't care less about retaining loyal clientele. I LOVE WORLD NAILS!!! I've never had a bad experience here. The staff is wonderful. They're always so gentle, patient, and polite. Which is why I've been coming here for about two and a half years. I actually live about two and a half hours away, but usually wait and make the drive to get my nails done here because I feel so secure. I've brought my family and friends, and would definitely recommend giving this place a try. I'm usually the person who is always watching what's being done to my nails but when I come here I love that I don't feel the need to do that and can actually relax. All the technicians are good but my favorites are Rose and Hannah. They are very professional and always do a great job. I get gel manicures and sometimes acrylic if I will be traveling and will not be able to have a fill done for a while. Rose and Hanna are very good and im always extremely happy with the results. Rose is very fair and on occasion has even told me certain types of services were not necessary. Such as a fill vs full set, etc. Ive experienced nail shops opening then selling or closing in 3-5 years then I'm looking for another one. 10/10 recommend. I've been coming back for months, about 7x already. I always go to Rose, and I went to a male nail technician once for my manicures. And I forgot the name of the female technician for my pedicure, but I love her too! They're friendly, patient, and extremely detailed. Reasons why I love them: -they have a stamp card ($20 off when you complete the stamps!) -every time I call to make a same day appt, they're available -they helped me decide to do overlay manicures (my nails are brittle) -during check out, they'll write down an itemized price list and explain what they charged you for (other salons will charge you at the end and you'll wonder "how did I get up to $$$?") -my nails will last 3-4 weeks (my right middle finger always breaks though, I don't know why) I pay $30 for my overlay gel manicure fills, but I don't get my cuticles cut for some reason. So the $30 is for the fill only and none of the spa treatment part. And if I break a nail, they'll charge me $5 to fix it. Not too bad for lasting 3-4 weeks! read more

I said I would come back after my son's karate class was over, which was over at 6:15pm and they asked me to come back tomorrow. DO NOT GO HERE THEY USE MMA!! MMA is illegal for use on your nails in California! I have been coming here since the first opened a little over a year ago and they would always pop my nails off for me when I would get a new set, I learned that it's bad for you so I opted this time to soak off the nails and found out the horrible truth that they used MMA on the set I had on my nails When I called to let them know they were very rude and denied it but I have all my receipts, I still have the nails the did because thankfully I clipped the long part off and tried to soak off the rest of the acrylic after I filed it down a bit, then I noticed it was really hard to soak it off and really sticky! A quick google search showed me that they used MMA on my nails! I'll be reporting them to the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology and mailing them one of the nails to also test. Before new owner took over world nails was great. New owner takes over ups price said it will be only 1 time no worries. And then you call next time you're ready for appointment and said went up 5 dollars is that ok . I said no she said prices on products are going up. I know they don't have to buy products every day they have more than they need. So I found another nail salon just down the street for less and great work. The girls that do pedicure are not great with the new owner. Old owners girls were amazing . read more

My last mani Lasted 3 solid weeks and I am a nurse who's hands get pretty beat up on the daily. She takes her time and is very detailed w/her work. She did this beautiful design today! I also got a great pedi from Jenny w/callus remover. I'm obnoxiously ticklish and she was very gentle and took her time.
