My wife and I LOVE Round Table Sauce but don't eat pizza that often. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza and "I" accidentally placed an order online for the Maui, which has a spicy sauce. Now I LIKED it, wife hated it. So I called up explaining that I needed to order another Hawaiian and they gave me a great price, FAST delivery, and they did NOT have to accommodate us like that. Out of their way, generous, and Great Tasting Pizza. Good help is hard to get and most the staff were working extremely hard. I wish I was younger cuz I'd partake in there all you can eat lunch specials... I highly recommend if you live in San Clemente, come here for LUNCH and CHUNCH!. The owner Gitty should not be in business. She is by far the rudest person in customer service I have EVER dealt with. I Will never dine in or have a pizza delivered from this location. I had an issue with my order that was delivered. Order was completely wrong I called to let her know and was hung up on twice not to mention my order was over $100... Ok I think it's about time someone writes a more UP TO DATE review of this place, and that someone would be ME :) The staff at this Round Table are always friendly and greet you with a smile. The owner is really on top of everything and makes sure everyone is enjoying themselves. She's friendly and welcoming. She's a bit more serious with her staff but I get that. The salad bar is always well stocked with fresh veggies, and the buffet is constantly reloaded with fresh pizza. If you come in and choose the buffet, they ask you which type of pizza you would like in particular so they can make it for you to add to the buffet. ***** I think that's awesome cause they don't just choose to put one topping pizzas out. Last time I was there, my boys (one is a teenager and the other just a beast) asked for an all meat pizza to be made. The pizza was out by the time they finished their salads. There was also a BBQ chicken pizza on the buffet, pepperoni, and a gourmet veggie with artichoke hearts. All were so good, the crust is perfect, not too thick. Round table is really family friendly, I'm sure it gets lively when there are team parties or birthday parties in there but it doesn't bother me. They have a pizza that has a regular style pepperoni and it also comes with a smaller thicker pepperoni style. We went for lunch today and for the first time instead of pleasantries got a plateful of attitude. 1) many employees were not wearing masks OR gloves when making pizzas. Other employees (delivery employees) would just walk in without masks and stand around with customers around. They do not enforce COVID precautions. 2) Customers would wait inside the store without masks on to pick up orders (not because they were eating). 3) Our pizza took 45 minutes after the pick up time we were told. The stars are for pizza because it's pretty good. But the service is horrible and the draft beer is room temperature if not warm. Asked the guy to turn on the video games for my son. Took him 30 minutes to plug them in because I guess he forgot. I was bummed out on my warm beer so I stood at the counter for 15 minutes waiting to ask for a bottled beer. Finally the owner lady came up and said they only had Pacifico's. I said great I'll take one. She opens the fridge and next to all the beer mugs there's one single Pacifico laying on its side. $6.00. Ugh I was literally the only customer. A medium pizza and 2 mediocre beers set me back $40. Sad. read more
