One of the best restaurants in San Clementine. We sat in the back patio room and had organic arugula salad, artisan cheese -added chicken with cauliflower crust, margeherita and hot Hawaiian. Everything was awesome and great service too!

I really do need an intervention. We come here just about every Sunday and that reason is because of the prime rib. We generally share Caesar salad to start and then share the prime rib because quite honestly it's a lot of food and neither one of us could actually eat the entire meal. Caesar salad, always delicious. Crisp fresh lettuce topped with a mountain of Parmesan. Love the crispy capers. Again, prime rib, delicious very well seasoned. Comes with the I believe, garlic mash, and roasted vegetables. I wouldn't mind if they mixed up the vegetables every now and then with seasonality, etc. because I'm kind of bored of cauliflower and carrots to be honest I almost wish there was a baked potato option not that I don't love your mashed potatoes because I do. Service is always fast and friendly and efficient. There is street parking plus some city municipal lots. They have great music playing as well as a lot of the sports and local channels in the bar area. A solid experience.

I called ahead and ordered dinner and the girl who took my order was great. When I arrived, there was no street parking so I parked in the alley and Joe brought my food out. He's so sweet and HOT!! The rotisserie chicken is tasty and generous for a half of a chicken. I enjoyed the small pieces of cauliflower and fingerling potatoes. Bf loved his shrimp scampi pasta and he's so fulllll

Floppy pizza. Undercooked pasta. Bland flavor. Nice staff. Cool, low-lit environment.

I finally made my way back over here after a great experience the first time, and we loved it just as much! For starters, we had the Burrata & Heirloom Tomatoes. This was good to share amongst 2-3 people. The Bolognese was a good pasta choice. The noodles tasted super fresh. For pizza, we loved the Truffle Roasted Mushroom! This had a ton of flavor with the truffle and garlic. For cocktails, my favorite is the Less Thinking More Drinking! It's so well balanced with the lavender and Yuzu.

Street parking only. Reservations recommended but not required. Ok for groups. Ok for kids. Great happy hour. Wings were great, along with a small pizza from HH menu. Ordered the chicken plate, had wonderful flavor. Must try spot. They offer a full bar.

I met up with a bunch of my friends here and we shared some things family-style. I thought the food was really tasty! Caesar salad was great and so was the pizza. I didn't really care for the chicken parmesan that much, but that's not a dish I would normally choose to order for myself anyway (too heavy, and I don't like that the chicken doesn't stay crispy) so that's just a personal thing. The ambiance is lovely! And I remember thinking they had a great happy hour menu, even if we didn't end up ordering much from the HH selection on this visit. I would definitely come back for happy hour if I ever visited San Clemente again (it's beautiful here)!

I came here with my family and grandmother last night, and wanted to give a shoutout to our server--I believe she said her name was Claire, (it was a bit noisy which is why I'm not 100% certain) and we were sat in the back room area near a large party. We never receive bad service here, but Claire's talents and personality shined through what was clearly a busy weekend evening. She was incredibly skilled, and also genuinely kind. We appreciated her so much, I felt her thoughtfulness deserved a review of its own. Thank you, Claire! Your dessert recommendation was especially appreciated, as it was one we had been considering ordering but rarely save room for--you turned a casual evening out into a memorable dinner for us. :)

The food was so good! I loved the Ceasar salad and bread appetizers. I got the burrata pizza and my boyfriend got the prime rib. He loved his, and mine was pretty good! There was a family sitting next to us and boxing us in basically, which wasn't great, but what was really upsetting is how rude they were. Not the restaurant's fault but it was tough watching them make the staff feel uncomfortable. Overall, a great spot to go for a nice meal, as long as you're not stuck in a corner with that family.

We really liked this place. The food is delicious without prices being through the roof like other restaurants in the area. The service was excellent and paced perfectly.

Creamy Burrata & Heirloom Tomatoes 10/10 It was creamy, goodness, heaven!! Must love tomatoes to enjoy this appetizer. I also really love pesto. The pesto-like sauce with the tomatoes and cheese was great! I'm calling it a pesto sauce, because it reminded me of that, it may not be pesto though. After doing some investigating, it is not pesto after all lol It is a pistachio pesto though! I wasn't too far off actually lol Such a nice combination. It was smooth and light. The ingredients were super fresh! The sweet basil sprouts gave it an earthy feel. I think the garlic confit complimented the dish and helped bring it all together rather nicely. I am a fan of this starter! I could eat that all day, every day lol It's so tasty and fresh. I love how all the flavors come together and create this smooth and non-heavy appetizer. Service was great. You could tell; it was freshly made.

Man, this was not at all what I was expecting, but it was absolutely stellar. The heart of san clemente is inundated with fast casual, patio dining. This is a nice switch up that is a bit more elevated, but not stuffy. Still casual enough for some tvs above the bar to watch the game, but some moody lighting, and intimate seating makes it a solid spot for date night. When I saw wood fired I assumed it would be light fluffy pies. Nope, this is honestly very new yorky pizza. Thin, with solid crisp, next to no flop! Bbq chicken was superb. Tangy bbq sauce with big chunks of smoked chicken. A bit of spunk from the cilantro. The grilled sourdough is superb. Salted butter with light, airy sourdough with wonderful char. Service was 10/10 as well. I was downing water after being at the beach all day, without question my server brought me an extra water cup so I could stay hydrated, lol In any case, one of the best dinners I had during my time in SC!

    MEAT LOVERS pizza

This place is so good! The chefs are next level for sure. Place has such a cool vibe. Location in San Clemente is perfect including a nice patio. The special on Sunday is prime rib, trust me you think it looks good, it's was amazing! French style wings and meatball starter step us up for the experience.Known for their pizza but don't stop there!!! Can't wait to go back.

The music mix was one of my favorite parts. They played a little bit of everything from A to Z, so there was something for everyone to enjoy, which is exactly what I look for in a bar. Huge shoutout to Dean for the amazing drinks and the solid drink selection. The standout of the night was an off menu drink recommended by a regular, Jeremy. Shoutout to Jeremy! Peter made the drink and it is worthy of a spot on the menu. The Rattlesnake Milk was exactly what I came in looking for. Unprofessional host, blatant favoritism…read more BLUF: The host treated the bar like a house party -- saving seats and catering to his friends instead of paying guests. We went to Jane on Saturday, January 17th around 8:30-8:45 pm for a nightcap with a group of three. It was crowded, which was fine -- the service was not. The host (a man in his late 20s or early 30s with a buzz cut and mustache) had us put our name in but couldn't give even a rough wait estimate. He then told us there were open seats at the bar. As we walked toward them, he immediately went to his friends sitting nearby, and they jumped up and took the bar seats he had just told us were available. We waited 40 minutes and received a text that our "table for three" was ready -- only to be told when we returned that there was actually standing room only. When we again saw open bar seats, the same friends reappeared and claimed they were "saving them" because they'd gone out to smoke. The host backed them up. This felt less like a cocktail lounge and more like a place where the host plays bouncer for his friends. Prioritizing friends over paying guests, brushing people off, and mismanaging the waitlist is incredibly unprofessional. We left without ever being served. For a place that positions itself as a cocktail lounge, this kind of favoritism is unacceptable and disappointing.

We were seated right away, we were sat upstairs in the patio area which was very nice. Our server Mason was very attentive and right away brought us some water and took our drink order. To tell you that both of these were absolutely delicious! The lamb had this delicious Chimichurri sauce that you don't want to leave any of it on the plate because it's so flavorful. The clams were also so tasty with the chorizo and all of the different flavors in the broth. It came with two pieces of toast and I which it came with more so we could soak up all of the broth. Then we moved on to our main entree I went with the fillet mignon and my husband went with a Snake River Wagyu Denver steak and for our sides we went with roasted broccolini and potato au gratin with truffle oil. Both of our steaks were delicious and the sides were just the perfect combination to go with it. I can forget to mention that we also got a few cocktails and they were also good. We closed our dinner with a delicious and light crème brûlée. We left wanting to already come back and celebrate something else. Their website teases that food is coming soon. It is a fairly small place and I would definitely recommend making a reservation on Yelp. If there are no reservations available when you want to visit, they also have a Yelp live waitlist. The building has its own parking lot with about ten spaces and is shared with the sushi speakeasy upstairs. We arrived around 6:30pm on a Sunday night, and luckily there were still quite a few spaces available. A half hour later, the place was packed. The outside of the building is not marked. Enter through the red double doors in front, walk to the right, and the entrance will be easy to spot. Seating options include eight seats at the bar, four high-top tables in the main area that seat four people each, and a slightly raised grotto area with one four-seat table and two two-seat tables. We often like to sit at the bar, but I reserved a table in the grotto so we could get the full experience and I'm glad I did. The interior has great décor with a mix of tiki and pirate ship elements. The walls are wooden plank, with cargo netting, ropes, and tiki lights above. The walls have portraits of Goonies movie characters. Take two steps up to the grotto area, and you are inside of a cave with skulls, shells, and treasures embedded in the cave walls. There is also a small waterfall in the corner. Scan the QR code on the table for the cocktail menu. It is colorful and many of the drinks have names tied to The Goonies. Each drink also has zero, one, or two skulls next to it to indicate the booziness factor. They have quite a few original cocktails as well as classic tiki drinks, a few mocktails, spirits, beer, and wine. I started out with the Ash Landing (Hamilton Pot Still Blonde Rum, Hamilton 86 Demerara Rum, Hamilton Pimento Dram, Angostura Bitters, Pineapple, Lime, Ginger, One Skull booziness, $14). This was definitely a little on the boozy side, with good ginger flavor and the pineapple and lime in the background. She started out with the One-Eyed Willy (Pou Vodka, Lychee, Guava, Coconut, Sweet & Sour, $15, keep the mug for $65). It is rare that a vodka drink is my favorite of the night, but this was both of our favorites. It was very balanced and juicy, and not boozy at all. The guava, coconut, and citrus from the sweet and sour were all there. We bought the mug, and they bring you a new one in original packaging. The purchased mug is colored a little differently (blue instead of black) than the mug the drink is served it, but it still looks great. While walking around taking pictures, I ran into our server and mentioned that it was my girlfriend's birthday. He kindly brought us some shots on the house. He said it was a recipe they had for shots during Halloween, and it tasted like a spin on a kamikaze. It was very good and much appreciated. I have a hard time resisting a cool mug, so for my second drink I ordered the Slick Shoes (Planteray Pineapple Rum, Worthy Park Rum, Bounty Dark Rum, Strawberry, Papaya, Lime Juice, $17). It is served in a cool sneaker mug with a flaming lime half on top. It was nicely balanced and just a tiny bit boozy. It had a nice light fruit flavor, not overly sweet at all. I think it is sometimes served in a regular glass, so if you order it, be sure to ask for the sneaker mug. Her second cocktail was the Never Say Die (Producer Mezcal, Kiwi, Lemon, Mango, Grilled Pineapple, $14). The smokiness of the mezcal was on the hairy edge of being too smoky for me, but she loved it. She could taste the kiwi and mango. We shared one last drink, the Garden of Eden (Papa's Pilar Blonde Rum, Lavender, Lemon, Elderflower, Cucumber Bitters, One Skull booziness, $17). It had an interesting (good) floral flavor profile, and didn't strike me as boozy at all. I could definitely taste the cucumber notes from the bitters. There was good 80s music playing in the background. It's a Goonies themed bar, I get it, but we would have enjoyed a few tiki songs in the mix too. There is one unisex restroom out in the lobby area. It is nice that they also themed it with wooden plank on the walls and ceiling, and some nautical décor. Daniel was our server and was very friendly and provided great service. Thanks again Daniel for the birthday shots! Bartender Felipe also delivered one round of our drinks and was also very friendly. All of the drinks were good and there are definitely more on the menu that we would like to return and try. We had a real fun time, thanks Lost Inferno!

One of my favorite appetizers here are their bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers served with a blackberry jam and pickled onions...I get this pretty much every time. Lately I've been coming on Tuesdays to take advantage of their all-day Happy Hour, which is one of the best in town. Crispy carnitas tacos and the hibiscus margaritas are my go-to's, and the fresh chips and salsa served gratis are always delicious and hot. I wanted to take a moment to shout out their fantastic team of servers and bussers especially. Luna, Lindsay and Cesar have all been exceptional servers; their knowledge of the menu and their genuine kindness makes our visits that much more memorable. I don't often catch the name of the bussers, but they are extremely good at what they do. There's a few restaurants in town that hire staff and don't seem to train them well, so they struggle and it's apparent... but that's not the case here at Asada, where everyone is professional and really go above and beyond. It's easy to see how well their service flows (although the host stand could benefit from having people who are more outgoing; they seem to have timid people up there a lot, and it can be awkward when they're too timid to properly greet guests--just something I've noticed, having worked in restaurants before I tend to be hyper-aware of such things). My favorite section to get seated is the booths near the back which tend to be quieter, and also offer a nice view of the sky during the sunset and evening hours especially.

I will say the restaurant isn't full of sparkles and has a bit of an old fashion feel by the beach…read more Sitting outside by the pier would be the best option if you're able to. There is ample shade, great beach views with the waves running under the pier where you are sitting. There are plastic/glass dividers between tables to give you some privacy. Anywhere you sit gives you a great view. The walkway is rather tight the closer you sit by the water. The menu is so casual yet the clam chowder, grilled shrimp, and fish and chips were by far the best tasting seafood I've had in a while. Everything was so fresh. The fish and chips - the fish was fluffy and flaked apart. The batter on it was light tasting and crunchy. The shrimp cocktail we got was gross. The shrimp had this bland taste to it. I think the batch of shrimp wasn't great with how it was blanched. We added horseradish to the cocktail sauce to add more seasoning to it. The oysters were also gross. There were so many little chips of the shell in the oysters. It just wasn't very good and I was worried if it was fresh enough. Cocktails felt premixed. Wide selection of wine and beer. Other than that, it's so worth coming here for the hot seafood and views. Service was decent. Restrooms are across the way by the bar area. We parked near the beach parking lot and had to walk to the restaurant. There are steep hills so have some good shoes for this!
