I called ahead and ordered dinner and the girl who took my order was great. When I arrived, there was no street parking so I parked in the alley and Joe brought my food out. He's so sweet and HOT!! The rotisserie chicken is tasty and generous for a half of a chicken. I enjoyed the small pieces of cauliflower and fingerling potatoes. Bf loved his shrimp scampi pasta and he's so fulllll

I finally made my way back over here after a great experience the first time, and we loved it just as much! For starters, we had the Burrata & Heirloom Tomatoes. This was good to share amongst 2-3 people. The Bolognese was a good pasta choice. The noodles tasted super fresh. For pizza, we loved the Truffle Roasted Mushroom! This had a ton of flavor with the truffle and garlic. For cocktails, my favorite is the Less Thinking More Drinking! It's so well balanced with the lavender and Yuzu.

Floppy pizza. Undercooked pasta. Bland flavor. Nice staff. Cool, low-lit environment.

Street parking only. Reservations recommended but not required. Ok for groups. Ok for kids. Great happy hour. Wings were great, along with a small pizza from HH menu. Ordered the chicken plate, had wonderful flavor. Must try spot. They offer a full bar.

I met up with a bunch of my friends here and we shared some things family-style. I thought the food was really tasty! Caesar salad was great and so was the pizza. I didn't really care for the chicken parmesan that much, but that's not a dish I would normally choose to order for myself anyway (too heavy, and I don't like that the chicken doesn't stay crispy) so that's just a personal thing. The ambiance is lovely! And I remember thinking they had a great happy hour menu, even if we didn't end up ordering much from the HH selection on this visit. I would definitely come back for happy hour if I ever visited San Clemente again (it's beautiful here)!

We really liked this place. The food is delicious without prices being through the roof like other restaurants in the area. The service was excellent and paced perfectly.

The food was so good! I loved the Ceasar salad and bread appetizers. I got the burrata pizza and my boyfriend got the prime rib. He loved his, and mine was pretty good! There was a family sitting next to us and boxing us in basically, which wasn't great, but what was really upsetting is how rude they were. Not the restaurant's fault but it was tough watching them make the staff feel uncomfortable. Overall, a great spot to go for a nice meal, as long as you're not stuck in a corner with that family.

Creamy Burrata & Heirloom Tomatoes 10/10 It was creamy, goodness, heaven!! Must love tomatoes to enjoy this appetizer. I also really love pesto. The pesto-like sauce with the tomatoes and cheese was great! I'm calling it a pesto sauce, because it reminded me of that, it may not be pesto though. After doing some investigating, it is not pesto after all lol It is a pistachio pesto though! I wasn't too far off actually lol Such a nice combination. It was smooth and light. The ingredients were super fresh! The sweet basil sprouts gave it an earthy feel. I think the garlic confit complimented the dish and helped bring it all together rather nicely. I am a fan of this starter! I could eat that all day, every day lol It's so tasty and fresh. I love how all the flavors come together and create this smooth and non-heavy appetizer. Service was great. You could tell; it was freshly made.

Man, this was not at all what I was expecting, but it was absolutely stellar. The heart of san clemente is inundated with fast casual, patio dining. This is a nice switch up that is a bit more elevated, but not stuffy. Still casual enough for some tvs above the bar to watch the game, but some moody lighting, and intimate seating makes it a solid spot for date night. When I saw wood fired I assumed it would be light fluffy pies. Nope, this is honestly very new yorky pizza. Thin, with solid crisp, next to no flop! Bbq chicken was superb. Tangy bbq sauce with big chunks of smoked chicken. A bit of spunk from the cilantro. The grilled sourdough is superb. Salted butter with light, airy sourdough with wonderful char. Service was 10/10 as well. I was downing water after being at the beach all day, without question my server brought me an extra water cup so I could stay hydrated, lol In any case, one of the best dinners I had during my time in SC!

When you read that their sourdough starter for their pizza crust was started 31 years ago, that's all it takes to come and try it out! Crisp with a slight crunch on their crust, it's light, not greasy, premium ingredients, friendly service, great selections of entrees, full bar, and great atmosphere. Try the Caesar, it's a tasty accompaniment with your pizza. My only wish, that more mozzarella was put on my pizza- not a deal breaker tho!

We came to Parlor for my son's 23rd bday. He wanted a pizza feast and that's exactly what he got! The food was amazing - pizzas and appetizers were all fresh and made with such care and amazingly flavorful. The staff were so friendly and really did seem to love what they were doing - from Alayna, our server, to the hostess and the guys behind the counter making magic! It was such a cozy friendly vibe - a great neighborhood restaurant where you'll want to bring your friends and hangout for the evening.

We generally frequent parlor on Sunday because they have prime rib. We are very partial to the Caesar salad salad as well and the chicken Parm, but it's always prime rib on a Sunday. Tonight we opted to share the Caesar salad and the prime rib entrée. They were very kind enough to go ahead and split it in the kitchen ahead of time. It was rather busy around 6:30 PM. And we found service with a little bit slow overall. It took a while to get the initial drink order, which was just a nonalcoholic drink. And it also took a little while for some of the check backs and additional refills on the drinks. We weren't in a hurry per se, but we wanted the check sooner than later. The server was really nice to bring it along with processing our payment. She was probably about 5'2" with strawberry blonde hair pulled back. Good vibes overall although the volume can get a little loud at times. Caesar salad salad was heavily dusted, and fresh graded Parmesan, which was hilarious to us. And the prime rib entrée was delicious although overly salty on some of the crust. The roast of vegetables are always good. Honestly, I think it's enough for two people to share. We did not have dessert this time. I think next time when we come back, we'll probably go back to some chicken Parmesan and a pizza there is street parking and a few city lots although Parking can be difficult overall.

Parlor is such a cute spot in San Clemente. I was so excited to try for a date night. The services was excellent and kind. I had even forgot my left overs and they gave me a call and I was able to come right back and get them. I had the bronze cut rigatoni, and it honestly was not my favourite, though the meatball appetisers were great. I'm excited to give this place another shot and order something different.

Their website teases that food is coming soon. It is a fairly small place and I would definitely recommend making a reservation on Yelp. If there are no reservations available when you want to visit, they also have a Yelp live waitlist. The building has its own parking lot with about ten spaces and is shared with the sushi speakeasy upstairs. We arrived around 6:30pm on a Sunday night, and luckily there were still quite a few spaces available. A half hour later, the place was packed. The outside of the building is not marked. Enter through the red double doors in front, walk to the right, and the entrance will be easy to spot. Seating options include eight seats at the bar, four high-top tables in the main area that seat four people each, and a slightly raised grotto area with one four-seat table and two two-seat tables. We often like to sit at the bar, but I reserved a table in the grotto so we could get the full experience and I'm glad I did. The interior has great décor with a mix of tiki and pirate ship elements. The walls are wooden plank, with cargo netting, ropes, and tiki lights above. The walls have portraits of Goonies movie characters. Take two steps up to the grotto area, and you are inside of a cave with skulls, shells, and treasures embedded in the cave walls. There is also a small waterfall in the corner. Scan the QR code on the table for the cocktail menu. It is colorful and many of the drinks have names tied to The Goonies. Each drink also has zero, one, or two skulls next to it to indicate the booziness factor. They have quite a few original cocktails as well as classic tiki drinks, a few mocktails, spirits, beer, and wine. I started out with the Ash Landing (Hamilton Pot Still Blonde Rum, Hamilton 86 Demerara Rum, Hamilton Pimento Dram, Angostura Bitters, Pineapple, Lime, Ginger, One Skull booziness, $14). This was definitely a little on the boozy side, with good ginger flavor and the pineapple and lime in the background. She started out with the One-Eyed Willy (Pou Vodka, Lychee, Guava, Coconut, Sweet & Sour, $15, keep the mug for $65). It is rare that a vodka drink is my favorite of the night, but this was both of our favorites. It was very balanced and juicy, and not boozy at all. The guava, coconut, and citrus from the sweet and sour were all there. We bought the mug, and they bring you a new one in original packaging. The purchased mug is colored a little differently (blue instead of black) than the mug the drink is served it, but it still looks great. While walking around taking pictures, I ran into our server and mentioned that it was my girlfriend's birthday. He kindly brought us some shots on the house. He said it was a recipe they had for shots during Halloween, and it tasted like a spin on a kamikaze. It was very good and much appreciated. I have a hard time resisting a cool mug, so for my second drink I ordered the Slick Shoes (Planteray Pineapple Rum, Worthy Park Rum, Bounty Dark Rum, Strawberry, Papaya, Lime Juice, $17). It is served in a cool sneaker mug with a flaming lime half on top. It was nicely balanced and just a tiny bit boozy. It had a nice light fruit flavor, not overly sweet at all. I think it is sometimes served in a regular glass, so if you order it, be sure to ask for the sneaker mug. Her second cocktail was the Never Say Die (Producer Mezcal, Kiwi, Lemon, Mango, Grilled Pineapple, $14). The smokiness of the mezcal was on the hairy edge of being too smoky for me, but she loved it. She could taste the kiwi and mango. We shared one last drink, the Garden of Eden (Papa's Pilar Blonde Rum, Lavender, Lemon, Elderflower, Cucumber Bitters, One Skull booziness, $17). It had an interesting (good) floral flavor profile, and didn't strike me as boozy at all. I could definitely taste the cucumber notes from the bitters. There was good 80s music playing in the background. It's a Goonies themed bar, I get it, but we would have enjoyed a few tiki songs in the mix too. There is one unisex restroom out in the lobby area. It is nice that they also themed it with wooden plank on the walls and ceiling, and some nautical décor. Daniel was our server and was very friendly and provided great service. Thanks again Daniel for the birthday shots! Bartender Felipe also delivered one round of our drinks and was also very friendly. All of the drinks were good and there are definitely more on the menu that we would like to return and try. We had a real fun time, thanks Lost Inferno!

It ranges from street tacos to some fun jalapeño poppers and various enchiladas and such. Salsa is red and tasty and chips are fresh. Margaritas are well-made and there is a good drinks menu at pretty standard $20 and under dollar prices. Service was polite, and we asked at the beginning of the meal to split the check because one of our friends is being cautious about funds and it was not a problem since we asked at the beginning of the meal. Prices sit restaurant level for this area, which means dinner for two with two margaritas each is $100. As per all main San Clemente, parking is extremely limited and usually not directly in the attached lot. Bathrooms are also part of a plaza system so much more shared and informal. This is a fun little spot and we will probably be back again.
