Came back to the Shore last Sunday to watch my Seahawks game with some buddies. They have all the NFL games and solid TVs. I ordered the steak burrito wet with green sauce on top and grilled chiles . It is the best wet burrito in South OC hands down! They actually use real steak and it's plentiful. So tasty the chef came from the Ritz Carlton I believe. Bartender Colleen is an absolute sweetheart and the owners are very warm and gracious. Bar chairs are very comfy. This is now my go to spot for football and when I want a great meal as their menu is solid! Would recommend anyone to stop in for a bite and good vibes. read more

What an amazing little restaurant and bar! Definitely make sure to eat here. My boyfriend and I stopped in here before we went golfing. Awesome place! We live locally and went down to try the cocktails and have dinner. We met the owner and servers - all were fantastic. The food was delicious- we ordered the chips and guacamole and both are made in house - super fresh (and I'm a chip snob). I had the shrimp tacos (delicious) and my husband had the French dip which was served with French fries and two sauces- au jus and a horseradish sauce. I don't eat red meat but the shoestring fries in the horseradish sauce was crazy good. They even have a mini lounge in the back (where we sat and watched basketball). Really comfy and fun. Under new management, the Shore Kitchen Plus Bar was a pleasant surprise. Friendly crowd, full bar and a new chef in house that is delivering the goods. We enjoyed the Asian Persuasion Salad with grilled chicken. Super fresh and more than enough to share. Our neighbors at the bar ordered the Shore-Cuterie plate. Thunbs up all around! 5 stars A couple of weeks ago, I found myself in a really stressful situation--my car broke down right in front of this restaurant, and to make things worse, my phone battery had died. Desperate and in tears, I walked into the restaurant to ask if I could charge my phone. Brie and Blu, two amazing staff members, welcomed me with kindness, calmed me down, and helped me charge my phone. Not only that, they both came out and fixed my car! Afterwards, they brought me delicious food and a margarita, which truly lifted my spirits. They made sure my car was working before warmly walking me back to it. Their kindness and hospitality turned a terrible day into a beautiful memory. Thank you, Brie and Blu--you're truly angels! read more

Such an amazing new locals spot.... Staff are super friendly and drinks are heavy. Their food is off the hook. I've been there about eight times in the past four months. Could not speak more highly of this neighborhood establishment. Ownership is extremely involved and super kind to every patron who walks in the door. Their live music is off the hook. Mediocre service, lack of variety on the menu, dirty exterior and interior, low-quality food, long wait times due to being presumably understaffed. There are many flies in the restaurant (yuck), their menus are stained (yuck!), and the meal was sloppily put together-- my burger practically falling apart due to how soggy it was. On top of that, they were completely unable to make a third of their menu, as they were out of shrimp. How does one run out of one of three major ingredients used in such a large part of their menu by afternoon? Bad experience, would not recommend to anyone. If you want a meal in that area, just eat at Surfside Pizza. Or, if you really want sandwiches, Beach Hut Deli is just a little further down. read more

Alright so the service is incredible, genuinely the service itself deserves 5 stars. However their most popular item has to be one of the most mediocre tasting items. The "Not So Skinny Dip" is a take on a French dip sandwich. However the sandwich itself is small for the price point, the brisket was dry and completely unseasoned, the au jus was tasteless and watery, the pepper jack cheese tasted processed with no spice to it and the horse radish had zero punch at all. The fries were actually really solid but there is not much fries can do to save a sad un seasoned sandwich. I really like the vibe of the place, again the service is outstanding and the staff seem absolutely great. However it is hard to get around how mediocre that sandwich was. read more

Reviewer Diego X is actually bad fr. I'm here with my mom and dad right now. I've been coming to this location since it was Corky's in 2010. Been 3 different restaurants come through here. This may be my favorite version of it. They have live music. They have great seating. The vibes are incredible. The owners are friendly. They come chat with us every time we come in to eat. The chef is the same one from the previous Shorecliffs Bar and Grill. The food is awesome and the drinks are great. This is a community staple. "Just go to Surfside Pizza". Yeah right, Diego X! Maybe if you want to talk to people who don't know anything about their menu and can't accommodate allergies. Maybe if you want to grab and go your food. If you want to sit and have a great social experience, this is the place to be. Im 25 and I seriously would have a hard time choosing whether to come here or Beachfire. Peak bars.
