STEPH JUDGEMENT: Good food and friendly service. A friend and I came by for lunch after a hike in the area. Neither of us had been before, but it was conveniently located and looked nice--clean, open, airy, and not too crowded on a Thursday around noon. We sat at the bar, but didn't actually end up trying any of the beers (although I thought about it). We opted for Diet Cokes instead--maybe next time. I had the veggie sandwich with fries, and my friend had the cheeseburger and fried cheese curds. All were really delicious, the fries being especially good. We agreed that the cheese curds might've been too much for us. I don't know what we were thinking, ordering DEEP FRIED CHEESE--maybe that we were still teenagers?! They didn't have a ton of vegetarian or vegan options, but I really enjoyed my sandwich. Our server was genial and efficient, and we had a lovely time. Still no improvement on getting parents to controls their children so people who want a childfree zone or properly look after their children or leave them at home can enjoy their time. The brewery can put unruled and controls that parents should follow, or set up a family area. Staff does their best to keep the outside area clean but, they appeared to be short staffed during our visit. There were also long lines at the register to order more drinks each time, no table service. They do have a cute feature - they offer postcards for free, fill them out there and drop with the cashier before you leave and the mail them for free! A group of us went here on a Sunday afternoon to watch games. There are a limited amount of TVs, however the food and beer were both great. I ordered the fried pickles, nachos and Birria egg rolls. (BUT I did have leftovers from the holiday party after my department chair expressed his concerns for me after I talked about hole-digging behind our building as a team-building activity for 15 min... but I'm also a 5th year PhD student, so you can't really blame me for being enthusiastic about everything not-my-dissertation) That said: Excellent West Coast beers. Crisp and clean. The kind that revives you after too much small talk and forced cheer. Dog friendly. Emotional support dogs everywhere. Morale improved instantly. Healing occurred. I think even my dog healed. Kind date. Noteworthy. Handled my exhausted, mildly feral energy with care and grace. (he bought me beers) I was gifted a Mexican lager from a kind beertender after closing. Unexpected. Generous. Tear-inducing. It was the plot twist that redeemed the entire evening. Despite the hunger, fatigue, and being one mild inconvenience away from ghosting the whole night, this ended up being a genuinely lovely experience. The beer, the staff, and the warmth of the place did all the heavy lifting. Would absolutely return-- But next time, I'm making very sure the kitchen is open :) P.S. Great local brewery with good food, good beer and a relaxing atmosphere. Came here with the family and the dog. We had the birria egg rolls (terrific) and fried pickle chips (amazing). I started with the pickle lager beer - it was refreshing and good. For my main, I had the cheeseburger (great with a little kick) and I chose the side salad with Asian vinaigrette. I also tried a couple bites of the fried chicken sandwich (really good) and the ban mi (just ok). Also tried another of their lagers but the pickle beer was better. Definitely glad we came this way. They participated in the beer passport which was cool. Except the service at the beginning seemed a bit cold because we were there for the passport. When we ordered our second beers and food, service seemed to change drastically. I guess sometimes you can help it as a human being. Anyhow, bedsides the point, everyone there was nice. The French fries were some of the best we've had in a while. The cheese curds were decent - and I've had legitimate cheese curds from Wisconsin so I feel like that's saying something! I love that they host a wide variety of events, like trivia on Wednesdays, the SC Art Crawl (on the last Thursday of the month), live bands, comedy and much more! They have good beer, great service and surprisingly the food is pretty good. I tried "Czech Out That Saaz" Czech Pilsner, and wow so crisp and refreshing, absolutely delicious! I also had the Peach Sing Seltzer, which was sweet, juicy, and super tasty definitely a one-and-done kind of treat. My friend went for the Surf Ghetto and said it was perfect for a hot day. I love the chill, local San Clemente vibe at Los Molinos Brewery it feels super welcoming and laid-back. Plus, their wings? So tasty and flavorful! So my wife and I are in CA to celebrate her sister's marriage, and decided to take a stroll down to this gem of a find, Los Molinos Beer, I saw while we were in an Uber our way to our hotel. Lemme just say we were very happy and satisfied with our visit here! Their selection of brewed-in-house beers are amazing! My wife had the Cutie, and I had an IPA (apologies, forgot the name, but ask them for the locals' favorite!), which were refreshing, ice cold and delicious! Then came the food! Deeeeelish! Their birria egg rolls were nothing short of ah-mazing!! Who would think, Mexican-braised goat meat, stuffed in an egg roll! My wife had their chicken tender and fries, again the Mmmmmm a great selection. What may seem basic was also very well prepped! The chicken was actual chicken, not some compressed pieces of who knows what, and the fries were crisped just right! Lastly, the staff and ambiance were great! Very friendly, and willing to answer questions about their beer, and sampling said beers too! The outside seating was very clean and refreshing! A great break from the madness of NYC (though I will always love NYC thee most, I did really enjoy such a wonderful eve with my wife amongst palm trees and a setting sun!)
