Pizza Port creates unique and flavourful pizzas with fresh ingredients. The portion and toppings are so generous that one larger size is enough for a group of six people to share or quickly grab a snack. We are from the central coast. This was our second time having Pizza Port. The Morro Bay location was our first pizza dining experience. Both locations are great. This location has an urban feel mixed with a cozy ambiance. The Morro Bay location is more beach-friendly with an open space outdoor patio. Speaking of Pizza Port, while we were at the Los Angeles International Airport, one security officer looked quite serious. I assumed he was a fan of this place or at least a Pizza aficionado, because when he saw my husband wearing the Pizza Port T-shirt he flashed a very sweet smile with satisfaction.

Very cool design place, has two floors with a bar on each floor and arcade upstairs. Surf ambiance. Pizza was delicious and so were the teriyaki wings. Food was very fresh. Only complaints are that it took 20 min to get my wings and another 25 min to get my pizza. Also, it was very busy as I went in on a Saturday for lunch. Seating was very limited. Overall was great experience since I was not in a rush.

10/10 would recommend! They sell slice of pizza until 3 everyday. Cheese pizza is $3 and pepperoni is $3.50. It was pretty fulfilling and pretty good! They also have a bar and an upstairs area! Seating outside and inside too. Staff were super cool and helpful.

I've visited this location once before. It's the only Pizza Port outside of San Diego, glad it's here. Food is fantastic and great selection of beers. Staff are friendly, Professional and provide fast service. Really glad the food is made fresh to order. The interiror is a little messy but that's part of the aesthetic so it's ok. The restrooms look decently clean so that's a plus. Parking is a little tough sometimes but a walk never hurt anyone. Definitely will be coming back, one of my favorite spots to come to visit.

4 stars due the food being bomb I'd give less for the wait time. We ordered wings and two 10inch pizzas. One cheese and one cheeseburger. We waited one hour for our food. Even the wait for our other friends salad was 45min. But unfortunately there's wings were amazing the pizza is great. They had a $5 pint of one of their beers so that's fun, at least you can grab those without waiting hours.

Order of 12 wings. Flats. Only received 8 drums. Husband ate 1 that's why there's 7.

Service at the bar was amazing, however I ordered 12 wings and only got 8...asked for flats, got all drums...would've been ok with mixed, but literally the opposite of what I asked for and missing 1/4 of my order.

Im on the side of 5 stars for this spot. The pizza is awesome and well priced. I love that you can hop in and grab a slice or two and a beer without breaking the bank. Pizza style is thin, and they usually have a daily special by the slice. A slice will run you around 3 or 4 bucks. There beer is great, obviously. I tried the German pilsner and it was refreshing and crisp.

First time at Pizza Port. Decided to meet here with some friends in town. Seems like a staple in the San Diego area for both pizza and beer. The San Clemente location is a two story brewpub with many benches, outdoor seating, and even arcade games. We decided to get half Pizza Monterrey and half Pizza Bressi Ranch. I had low expectations but the pizza was honestly good! Hefty toppings. Good sauces. The Bressi Ranch is super unique and delicious. Location is a little busy. Also gets really hot inside. Beer is okay. Overall seems like a place you can't go wrong with but by no means best pizza in town.

I ain't gonna talk about how legitimately legendary the beer is. I ain't gonna talk about how I was raised right in between their two most classic and bitchin locations (Solana OG and Carlsbad effing village) I ain't gonna talk about the memories, the nostalgic moments post surf / skate and blenders. All I'm gonna say for now is TRIPLE BAKED WANGS. TRIPLE 3 !!!! BAKED WANGS !!!!!! That's all you need to know yelpers. You're welcom

Pizza Port is always solid for lunch. They have a good deal where you get two slices of pepperoni and a craft beer for $13. Pizza is tasty and beer is always cold. Bartenders are cool and will let you sample the beer before deciding. Upstairs and downstairs bars with TVs at both. Also have an outdoor patio on both floors if you would like to take in the San Clemente views.

First time at Pizza Port San Clemente and we were seriously impressed! From the moment we walked in, we loved how spacious it was--plenty of tables to sit and enjoy your meal. We ordered two pizzas and a salad, and everything came out fairly quickly, which was a nice surprise. The pizza was delicious, loaded with flavor, and definitely lived up to the hype. The overall vibe of the place was super chill and welcoming. Great spot for casual dining with great food and good energy. We'll definitely be back! .

The pizza was delicious, no greasy fingers, no burnt dough. Solid pizza and the crust was perfect! The vibes and service were great, after the pizza you can walk it off and stroll around the area!

Not all mozzarella sticks are created equal and the ones at Pizza Port are top tier. The breading was light with just the right amount of crunch. And the cheese pull was insane. The texture and flavor is similar to Oaxaca cheese which I absolutely love. Okay, can we talk about the marinara sauce because jar marinara, who? This shit was tart and straight from someone's garden. As for the pizza situation, I finally broke up with pesto and ventured elsewhere. We split a medium pizza into two halves ($24-$25ish): -Pizza Lahaina: Canadian style bacon, pineapple, bell peppers, and onions -Pizza Roma: Canadian style bacon, pepperoni, sausage, salami, onions, olives, bell peppers + mushrooms Order the Lahaina if you love a good pineapple pizza. The version here includes bell peppers and onions which breaks up the usual ham/pineapple combo. It helps break up the sweetness and gives the slice a little more texture. Crust and toppings = *chef's kiss. Pizza and beer is queen at Pizza Port. Pizza Port post pandemic was everything I thought it'd be: lively and family friendly. I'm entirely here for the vibes.

Ask the Community - Pizza Port

    Do you serve wine?

    Yes

    Any gluten free dough options?

Gluten free is an option but it only come in the small size.

Hi everyone do they have outside dining & are dogs allowed?

Outside dining is available on the upstairs and downstairs patios. It is preferred if they are outside on the patios downstairs, but yes dogs are allowed.

Does their phone number not work that is posted? I've called several times & it just rings & then says the call cannot be completed

They're just to busy to answer, no idea why they're busy lol

Is the number disconnected? There is a Verizon error message

I had no issues, they answered.

Do you order at a counter/bar or are there servers?

Order at the counter or at the bar. It is seat yourself. And they call out your name when the food is ready

Are they social distancing well or is it packed like it use to be?

Depends on the holiday but yeah over the weekends it is back to being packed.

Do they sell their pint glasses at the restaurant?

    Yes, they do!

    Open for dine in?

    Yes, it is!

Do they have cauliflower crust pizza? Thank you.

Nope. And I don't think that there are any plans to offer one in the near future.

Do they accept phone in orders to go?

Always best to go in person and order to go. It takes a little longer, but the results are better. You're welcome.

Is there any vegan options for food & beer?

There are, but they are limited. They have salads, hummus, soft-pretzels, tots, etc. They also have beer buddies which are just dough. I would just check the type of oil they use on the tots and make sure they don't share it with anything else.

Pros: This place has a really good overall vibe half restaurant, half bar which makes it feel more like a night-out spot than just a pizza place. The atmosphere was fun and energetic, especially with live music starting around 7pm on the Saturday I went. Staff were friendly, and the bar side added a nice social element if you're just hanging out with drinks. The pizza itself is a Detroit-style deep dish, and I got the pepperoni with hot honey. The quality was solid cheesy, thick, and filling but a bit more oily than expected. Still, the flavor was good and it felt like a heavy, satisfying meal. The beer selection was also good and paired well with the food. Parking is actually a strong plus here. There's a dedicated lot for customers that's free, which makes things easy if you're able to get a spot. Cons: The biggest downside is the menu structure--you have to order full pizzas only, with no slices or half-and-half options. That makes it harder to try multiple flavors. I wanted to try the mushroom truffle pizza but couldn't without committing to a full pie. Price is also on the higher side at around $26 for four pieces. Verdict: Overall a really solid spot with great vibes, good drinks, and quality pizza. I'd definitely come back, especially to try the mushroom truffle pizza next time.

It was a little chilly to fully enjoy the big open space of the big main room and the large windows. The big doors are likely open on a warm summer night. The design elements gave an intentional feel as though you are eating in a friend's Italian garden at a farm house table. Boxes of wine bottles stacked neatly against the wall added to the charm of a "local Italian business" nothing pretentious about this place. We had fast and friendly service and our food was prepared quite quickly despite a nearly full restaurant. Everyone in our party loved their menu choice but I only got to photograph my Margherita pizza and our surprise birthday dessert. The pizza was perfectly cooked with a nice wood smoked scent to the slightly chewy crust. A few of the bubbles on the crust were also a nice blackened char that added to the overall flavor but didn't detract from the sweetness of the sauce. My mouth is watering just thinking about eat bite as I write this. Our server knew we were celebrating two birthdays and brought us a surprise Panna Cotta with fresh berries and a sparkler to top it off. Surprisingly, I have never had Panna Cotta before and it is such a lovely treat. Not overly sweet and something everyone can enjoy. We had a pleasant evening and will definitely return. We look forward to tasting more items from the menu but as a Margherita pizza lover myself, I will find it hard to stray from that selection now that I've tasted how fresh it is! Thanks Buona Forchetta for welcoming our families into your "home" tonight.

The dough was nothing like the authentic thin-crust style; instead, it was thick, burnt, and strangely covered in butter. The Margherita sauce was essentially tomato sauce and lacked balance. The Clam Pizza was the biggest disappointment--it was buried under so much cheese and garlic that you couldn't even taste the clams. It was so greasy that oil was running down our hands, tasting more like a heavy, cheesy garlic bread with overpowering chunks of raw garlic than a refined white clam pie. To round it out, the zucchini chips were flavorless and mostly just fried breading. The only silver lining was the calamari, the cherry peppers were a nice touch and it genuinely reminded me of Rhode Island-style calamari. That said, I definitely won't be back for the pizza and do not recommend this place if you're looking for New Haven style pizza
