I called in my order for pickup and got the Stuft Special 7" and Spicy Wings. The woman that took my order said the buffalo flavor wasn't that spicy, so I chose mango habanero. There were 3 flavors to choose from, but I forgot what the 3rd flavor was. I'm guessing it was bbq? Anyway, when I got there, service was just meh. The pizza was decent. It was very "bready" if that's even a word.. like it strives to be a deep-dish pizza someday and is almost there. I ordered extra cheese, but it was difficult to discern if there was extra cheese on the pizza at all. I was pleased with the toppings, especially the sausage. I was not offered Parmesan or hot peppers when I picked up my order and forgot to ask. The "Spicy Wings" were not at all spicy. They should just call them "Wings" in my opinion. read more

I am visiting my parents in Dana point and they did takeout at stuft pizza for dinner. I am so impressed! The candied walnuts are absolutely unbelievable on the blue cheese salad and the pizza is so fresh and fluffy. I wish they had one of these in Newport Beach. I bought a Groupon at 11:00 a.m. went in at noon to get pizza and calzones and they refused to accept it. The gentleman would not take the Groupon. He should not be rewarded with any more business by anybody in any way. That he would allow a Groupon to be posted and then not honor it is ridiculous. read more

The pizza is so good! We ordered a medium gluten free Chef's Pizza and a small pepperoni and pineapple-the cost was $59 before tip. The gluten free crust was surprisingly good! We've had many gluten free pizzas and this was in the top half for sure! But... The service is terrible. The girl that helped us was so rude. We ordered quickly, said thank you several times and asked for a refill once. None of our thank yous were responded to. Also, the inside is disgustingly dirty. Solid pizza with the same great crust. I came here after many years away and I was happy to find that the pizza was just as good and the crust was the same. We had the BBQ chicken pizza and I was pleasantly surprised. It has regular pizza sauce on the crust, cheese and then chicken chunks and some saucy BBQ and cilantro on top. What a great combo. The BBQ was sweet but the final bites of crust were tangy with the regular pizza sauce. This was a nice touch and balanced out the sweetness, which is usually too much for me. Excellent! read more

My family and I went here for YEARS and loved it until one day multiple members got horrible food poisoning from the ranch, throwing up for days. We thought that maybe it was a stomach flu or fluke, so we went there again and then everyone got it again! We asked some questions and found out that only the people who had the ranch got it. Have been going here close to twenty years. The pizza is fantastic, incredible crust and great toppings. Love that they've added a gluten-free crust, which is also pretty solid. Can't speak to the other entrees, this has always been a pizza joint to me. They have absolutely let the interior go, which is a bummer. There's a reason people get the food to go, and it's a strange contrast to my memories of the restaurant being absolutely packed. Hope they put it in some effort to re-vamping the interior and reconnecting with the community. Food is fantastic, but I wouldn't want to stay in and eat. read more

Amazing pizza at Dana Point. Came here after walking around the harbor after work and it was so good. The dough and the crust are what make the pizza. Service was fast and friendly and there was a good amount of people there watching football. Has been our go to in town for 10 years. It is not fancy, artisan or wood fired. Just classic puffy crust with all the usual toppings. Also a fan of their antipasta salad. Worst customer service ever - do not go here! I have been a long time customer and it's been going downhill for a while (e.g. forgetting a salad I ordered and the driver having to go back and retrieve which took forever so we didn't end up eating it and was still charged). but tonight was the straw that broke the camel's back. I always get a half and half pizza. I knew my family was not super hungry so I ordered a medium this time. The checked out gentleman who took the order instead ordered me two medium pizzas. I thought the price was high, and questioned it - he said $57.93. Well, when the driver finally got here (they were late), the charge was $67.93. I called the restaurant and explained the issue to a girl which then transferred me to the guy who took the order. He stated he repeated the order back to me which he did not. He was completely rude and made zero effort to try to rectify the issue. Shame on you, Stuft. I will never go back here and will make sure to tell everyone in town what my experience has been. read more

This place is quaint. It's a hodgepodge of beach themed pieces in terms of decoration. The pizza was wonderful. The service was a brief interaction at the cash register which was friendly enough. Leaving Socal tomorrow and decided to stop by here for our last night! Couldn't have been a better decision, this is some of the best pizza I've ever had. It felt beachy inside, tons of cool prints and TVs all over. The service was great and the food came out pretty quickly! I ordered the individual sized (7") stuft special pizza and asked for basil on it as well. It was less than $10! I like my pizzas heaping with toppings, and this didn't disappoint! The sausage was delicious and the veggies all tasted so fresh. THE CRUST. I've never had pizza with a dough this thick before! So fluffy and an amazingly chewy and crispy crust. I would say the pizza is pretty average, now the salad and cheesy breadstick on the other hand were absolutely garbage. Tasted like frozen food that's got frost bite was thrown into a microwave nd the just served it to use half way cold. And for the pizza I got Cesar dressing and the salad was served plan with a hint of lime juice. Would not recommend waste of money. Service was exceptional read more

The manager (can't remember his name) was polite and helped with my difficult decision to choose my lunch. The food was delicious and timely. Plus, the selection of beers was excellent. Best Stuft Pizza location. I lived in San Clemente for 24 years. Born and raised. My family always ate stuft whenever ordering pizza. San Clemente location is good but over the years ive (personally) noticed the difference at the DP location. Not to mention, they sell 32 oz beers on top of draft beers ;).
