Italian Cravings has decent pizza, but it's nothing to write home about, and the prices are on the high side. Good for a quick bite if you're nearby, but not worth going out of your way.

Pretty tasty pizza! We got a combo small. It had a thin crust, which I like! Ingredients were pretty fresh. It's just pretty pricy. I'm sure it's because of the location. The service was decent. It's a cute spot with plenty of seating. It was a hot day. So it was empty. It was nice to sit outside after a walk from the beach and back.

The pizza made us cry because it taste so good! Highly recommend the spaghetti with meatball. On Monday they have a special of $10.99. The margarite pizza was outstanding. Service was quick as we were the only customers on a Monday afternoon. Place was also well kept with some nice italiano music.

Went here on a Monday afternoon, no one else in the restaurant. Server was nice, but food was average. Location is good, this was just an ok pizza.

Hidden Gem Italian Spot - Worth Every Bite Stumbled upon this cozy little Italian joint and honestly, it blew me away. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food speaks for itself. The pizza came out hot with a crispy, golden crust and just the right amount of char--chewy, flavorful, and topped with fresh, quality ingredients. The meatball sandwich? Unreal. Tender, juicy meatballs in a rich tomato sauce, tucked into perfectly toasted bread that held together without getting soggy. Comfort food done right. And don't skip dessert--the tiramisu was light, creamy, and had that perfect coffee kick. You can tell it's made in-house. Service was friendly,chill--no frills, just good vibes and even better food. Definitely a go-to for a laid-back but satisfying Italian meal.

Tried this place for the first time. They do have a parking lot and when we arrived there was plenty of parking which we were happy about. When we walked in we were greeted by the waiter what I assumed was the owner since he on the chef were the only ones there. We had our choice of seats as it was empty (maybe a sign). We were given water, menus and with very few words asked what we wanted to eat and drink. We order ice tea and a wine to drink. After sitting there it, I start to sweat and that's when I noticed he had the door open with no AC. It was very uncomfortable the whole meal, as there was no ventilation or air. For the food. The appetizers we ordered the Cajun Shrimp and the Bruschetta to start. When the appetizers arrived it included a lot of beget bread pieces. The bruschetta was not was I was expecting as it was more of a dipping sauce in a bowl and the menu did not give details about all the bread you would get with these two appetizers. The shrimp was delicious though. For dinner, I ordered the chicken picatta and requested it not to be breaded which was off menu but the waiter said they could do it. I should have maybe got what was on menu as it had a funny taste to it. We also got the eggplant parm which was okay but the sauce was bland and the breading easily came off. The waiter never offered to fill up our waters or tea. Overall, I would not eat here again due to the vibe and quality of food.

    Tiramisu - yummy!!

Excellent spaghetti and meatballs, anti pasta salad and the best tiramisu I've ever had....a hidden gem in San Clemente.

The interior is clean and welcoming. My pizza was slightly undercooked; it wasn't too bad, but it wasn't good either. The place was completely empty during the lunch time.

Chicken Milano is what's for dinner!

Everything worked well together, and omg that Cheese pull. What this place IS, IS because of the details. The setup, the décor, the AMAZING workers and how cheery and helpful they were... the cucumber/lemon water, the samples of yogurt while you wait, and the hot sauce options, all make for an enjoyable experience. Good food can be found anywhere, but when you pair that with an atmosphere that is both soothing, welcoming, and charming... you've got a home run. Oh speaking of details? WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE MUSIC? I don't know if it's like this everyday but the oldies playing ties everything together. Summers here have got to be magical that hit on beach city nostalgia. They've got alcohol. What? So you know we had to try what they had on draft. This Active Culture location is pretty popular too, because as I write this. Sweet, creamy, and citrusy with a subtle tang that nailed the nostalgic creamsicle flavor. Highly recommend! THE PARKING. Street parking was available nearby, but we had to pay attention to the posted time limits because it seemed a little complicated (to me, at least). THE VERDICT. Loved the orange creamsicle shake, but I also spotted a date shake on the menu, which only means another visit is needed!

Ordered were a Pepperoni pizza and the Margherita pizza. Margherita is always too bland for me no matter where I have it. I have to go for pepperoni always on my pizza, and it was tasty. I would've added mushrooms, but it wasn't my turn. Nice crust, flavorful, very thin Woodfired pizza. Just a note-share and eat it there. Too floppy for leftovers. My preference. Tagliatelle Bolognese was upscale flavor with the right spice and totally 100% agreed with my taste buds. I am a fan of thinner pasta, but this is how it's done at Parlor. Funny, it was extremely long strands of pasta so have your knife ready. Unlike the pizza, it made great leftovers, and I thought it tasted even better the next day. So I don't recommend sharing it. My tall Sequoia of a date did the classic awkward shuffle at the front like, "hi, can the dog come through to the patio without causing a federal incident?" The guy we asked looked like we had just asked him to solve climate change (bc he was a customer...), but he very politely redirected us to the cashier, who was lovely. So: Kindness: 10/10. Confusion: also 10/10. ~Balance~ Now the food. The Boulder orders a fish burrito. I go for the chimichurri salmon bowl with quinoa because I, too, enjoy pretending I have my life together. BUT. The boulder also then orders clam chowder--a surprise, a moment of elation, but at the same time... skeptical? Sir? I have lamented over my favorite chowder like a woman waiting for her husband to come back from battle. Were your ears too high in elevation for my voice to reach? ANYWAYS. Let's talk about the clam chowder, because this is where things get serious. I have grown up eating clam chowder in Santa Cruz (my hometown, my birthplace, my origins). I have known greatness (shoutout to Stagnaro Bros., the downstairs fish market). So when I tell you I approached this chowder with standards, I need you to understand the weight of that statement. I put my spoon in. It did not sink. At that moment, I knew. This was not soup. This was a lifestyle. A structural entity. And it was GOOD. Creamy, thick, unapologetically clam-forward. Not quite Santa Cruz enlightenment, clouds-parting-angels-singing, but honestly? Strong contender. We're talking solid top 4-5 chowders of my life, and I do not say that lightly. Now, my salmon bowl? Good. Respectable. Salmon = crispy, quinoa = doing quinoa things (why is it always slightly annoying to eat??). Chimichurri good. The fish burrito (from my observational research + dog validation panel): packed, flaky, generous. My dog approved, which frankly is the highest honor available. Overall: Great food, great vibes, excellent chowder, and quality time with the Tall Sequoia Boulder Man™ on a random Monday. Plus points--chips looked fried on site :D

Nick's hostess called me an hour before to confirm which was comforting. There is street parking which can be challenging as in any coastal community. I believe there is a close by public parking lot. The hostess was very welcoming and sat us right away. A.J. was an awesome waiter. He did not rush us and checked on us regularly and kept our water glasses full. Between the four of us we ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, three fresh Mahi Mahi blackened fish sandwiches. There are many side choices. We had the very yummy crispy fries and the tomatoes with blue cheese - so good. The sandwich and side was a huge portion. I had to eat it deconstructed as it was piled high with blackened fish, coleslaw, tomato, onion rings, fresh micro greens, tartar sauce all on a fresh grilled brioche bun. The sliced prime rib French dip was a home-run. The roll was toasted yet soft. The prime rib tender and flavorful served with Au jus (good enough to eat with a spoon or sip from the bowl). AJ made sure we had plenty of ketchup and ranch for the fries and creamed horseradish for the dip sandwich. My father was given a dreamy chocolate cake and card signed by everyone to celebrate his birthday. The dreamy cake was moist filled with chocolate chips and covered it a to-die-for chocolate ganache. We had an 11:15 reservation and the large restaurant and bar was filled up by noon. There were many celebrations going on around our table.
