We ordered the Philly's pizza and it took about 25 minutes to get to the table which was not too much of a surprise considering how busy the place was. Susie was our server and was very lovely throughout the evening! However, the quality overall of the pizza tasted okay at best. The slices were burned, so at most I can give a 3/5...Susie was very kind and offered to make us another pizza to-go, so that is definitely to note! But we were so hungry that we ate it anyway lol and we did not want to wait any longer. The presentation was also a 2/5 at most. Unfortunately, I would not stop by again.

OMG what can be said that hasn't been said already. I love this place. Tonight was a takeout order which was perfectly prepared. We ordered the highway one pizza, garden party and the chop salad. I think it's the first time we've had the chop salad and it was phenomenal. Lots of ingredients lots of Parmesan cheese. Both pizzas also had plenty of toppings. Great crust. Very helpful service over the phone to place the order. And pick up was also very Easy. There is street parking but also a small lot behind the building. Outdoor seating as well. Just a cool vibe for South OC. Always come back and recommend.

    Small vampire pizza

Stopped in for dinner, we ordered a small vampire pizza and it was delicious! With big dollops of cheese on every slice. We opted for the small which was still very filling for two people! The crust, cheese and sauce were all fantastic and I would highly recommend this place! Good service too!

I drove past this place about 4 times in a week until finally I said ok it's always busy so it must be good. We got really lucky that it was actually not too full. We got sat right away outside. Given that it was not too busy we did not anticipate to wait very long for the waitress to come and attend to us. She really took too long to take our order and drinks. Pizza was out of this world though. I would definitely and hopefully we have better service. I would skip the cesar salad.

Came here for a quick lunch before heading to the beach. We ordered 1 pizza and the crispy zucchini. Both items were good tasting and came out quickly. The service was also quick, friendly, and efficient! The restaurant itself is very fast-casual. Overall a pleasant experience with quality food!

I wanted to order a pizza in Dana Point to watch the sunset nearby and found APizza Doho when I was searching on Yelp and so glad I did! We ordered The Bee Sting pizza and we loved it! I loved how they packed the Burrata separately for to-go orders. The flavor was amazing and we really enjoyed it and would get it again, although we want to try other pizzas. We also got the Zucchini Chips - such incredible flavors but the only bad thing is that when you get it in to to-go boxes, they become soft and not crunchy. I will say that I ordered around 4:30-5pm online and my order was not ready to pick up till 6:45 on a Friday! So just be aware! Overall, great flavor and would come back!

    Southwest Swell with "1000 steps"

One of the best pizzas I've ever had. We are talking about driving up from San Diego just to have this pizza again. We had the southwest swell pizza and ordered it with "1000 steps." Amazing. The combination of spicy chilis, sweet pineapple and savory red onion was perfect. The crust was thin and well-done on the bottom. Portions were huge too, but we were so happy to have the leftovers. I also recommend the zucchini chips. They were the perfect snack with a glass of wine while we were waiting for our pizza. Super thin, salty and addictive. Service was lovely too!

    Great location

First of all, the prices and lines seem to coalesce. When there is a line, it is because of great value and that is the intersection of the ultimate dinner venue. I don't mind spending for a good dinner and I prefer to find a place like this where the food is amazing, the service is prompt and the value is beyond. At a time like this, when times are uncertain, you want to go to a place where you feel happy because the location is amazing, ambiance is great (acoustics were good) and the value is best! Diana was a pro! Come here and keep coming. Restaurants like this deserve to be great because they encompass what is great, great food, location and good memories.

Very good pizza! We got the "original." Sauce was sweet, mozzarella was flavorful, and the crust was super thin and crispy. The service was great.

The pizza was really good but I just wish they had better veggie pizza options. The crust is fermented for 24 hours so it's much easier to digest and it was such a light and airy crust. Outdoor seating is nice but it was easy to get a table on a Sunday night despite them being super busy.

So good I did the original with jalapeño

Some of the best pizza and meatballs you'll find in Dana Point -- definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. And ask for Jakob -- he's the best server there!

    The Vampire with mushrooms

Service is great. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Ordered a bottle of the red blend and it complimented our pizzas very well. Ordered the Bee Sting....so good! The hot honey is actually spicy, so FYI. We also got the Vampire amd added mushrooms. Was not too garlicky at all. The crust is kinda their "thing" and it does not disappoint. If you like a thin crust, you get it...and if you like a thicker crust, you get the chewy too. Best of both worlds. Try it out. The vibe is super chill. Great date spot.

What are the gluten free options? Do they now carry gf crust?

I think they do but best to call and confirm

    Do they take reservations?

They do, but only with parties of 8 or more.

Do you offer gluten-free dough plus non-cross, contamination cooking?

I'd like to know the same thing. However I doubt it. Let's hope I am wrong.

    Is your restaurant dog-friendly?

Outside on our patio dogs are welcome always!

What style is the pizza? Thin? Thanks!

Gino, thank you for inquiring. Yes, I would say it is definitely on the thin side, with purposeful charring around the crust. New Haven style is our "North Star" which is their version of Neapolitan in Connecticut.

Is this New Haven style pizza?

Yes, it is in the style of New Haven, in that, it is thin and does have purposeful charring around crust.

Will you ever sell white clam pizza or a variation of?

We do have a white clam pie on the menu, its called "Littleneck".

Do you sell slices anytime?? I want to try so many!!

Hi Rich, unfortunately we do not sell slices, but at lunch we do an 11'' inch pie ( equivalent to two good size slices ) paired with a Caesar or Simple Salad, as our "Lunch Box" special.

Do they serve gluten-free pizza? Or gluten-free pasta?

No, currently we do not serve either.

How big are the pizzas? Individual size or 12" or ? Thanks.

Hi Travis, thank you for the inquiry. Our pizzas are 15 inches, eight slices.

What times and days are least busy? If I bring my family of 5 to eat in?

I would say lunch time or until 5. they usually get a big dinner crowd :)

Are dogs allowed on the patio?

Yes, dogs are allowed on the patio

    Do they sell dough?

    Yes we do!

    Is there a happy hour?

Currently, Apizza Doho does not have a Happy Hour.

The only downside was it was a bit loud when cars passed by. Restaurant is beautiful, love the vibe. Our server Sean C. was very pleasant and attentive. I want to start this review off by saying THANK YOU to Blake, Kelly and all the Craft House staff…read morethat had a hand in our wedding reception!! It was truly such a beautiful night that went off without a hitch. Because of YOU GUYS. Beginning of Planning: My husband and I were on the hunt for the perfect "alternative" space to a traditional wedding venue due to time constraints of planning a wedding in 4 months and also budgetary constraints (not willing to sell our souls for a 40k wedding in South OC). I came across Craft House on Yelp (another beautiful couple held their wedding there) and knew the space would be perfect. I emailed for a week or two with Kelly before deciding to see the space in person. Late November/early December we met with Blake to show us the space. We knew it was the place for us when we were explaining to Blake our overall goal we were trying to accomplish: We wanted to throw a nice dinner and dance party for the people we love the most to celebrate the love we share. And we wanted to do it our way. Blake's response: We can do it all. No constraints. Basically no "rules", do it your way. We immediately put a hold on the space for our wedding date. December-March: Kelly was the perfect person to connect with and kindly answered all the questions that come along with planning a wedding. She was efficient with answering emails and following up with us (I'm type B, I love a follow up). We went to eat at Craft House a few times during these months and we able to figure out what we loved the best on the menu and each experience was fantastic. 10/10 drinks, food, and service. March: We started finalizing all the little details, food and drink menu, decorations, table arrangements, day of timeline. It was easy, efficient and there was a confidence from both Blake and Kelly that made us feel extremely confident and grateful to have our reception at Craft House. Wedding Week/Day of: Blake kindly allowed us to bring a load of decorations the day before the wedding to help the set up efforts on wedding day. We dropped off boxes of candles with a bartender (possibly a manager) the night before and he was extremely sweet and helpful by carrying boxes inside for us. The day of the wedding, our DJ and friend who was helping with set up were able to go in a few hours before. When we walked into the reception for the first time, we were blown away! I was in true awe at the space. It was exactly how we envisioned. The beautiful wood interior and 3/4 walls of windows with plants inside and outside made it feel like we were in a green house. I was met with a drink in my hand immediately from the bartenders and I was never without a drink (they would find me every time my drink was empty and give me a new one... THAT'S TOP TIER SERVICE). We ate, we drank and we partied with the people we love the most, exactly how we wanted. Things you should know: Particulars- We had about 90 guests, 4 vendor meals and had the private space from 12 PM (set up time) to 10:30PM. Price- THE BEST DEAL YOU CAN GET. Rental for the space, food and open bar(!!!) all bundled into a great price. Best bang for your buck. Price included gratuity and a small percentage for service fee. UNBEATABLE. Service- As someone who worked in the restaurant industry for many years (and close friends who are bartenders and servers)... we all agreed that the service was top tier. One of the biggest stand outs for me was the smiles on all of their faces during our reception. There is nothing better than seeing employees genuinely smile while they are working. It really makes the whole atmosphere a million times better. Some videos that we got at the end of the night, you can see the bartenders dancing while serving guests, it made my heart happy to know that there was some enjoyment while working their butts off for us. Thank you all so much!! We enjoyed ourselves and so did all of our guests. The next day people were stunned that we had been at a restaurant and not a wedding venue. This review is well deserved. *Pictures to come!
