So, we decided to cater food from Jacks for my daughters Baby Shower last weekend and it was fabulous. I'm always worried about the food being dry, over cooked or not seasoned well for large parties. Was recommended to this place by friends who picked me up to take me here! We intended happy hour and glamour the minute you walk in! This place is amazing, white table cloths with black napkins, dogs on the patio, wonderful quiet postured and polite service. We ordered drinks and the the bruschetta, shrimp scampi and shrimp risotto. All of was delicately flavored with all the Italian flavors, olive oil, tomatoes, garlic, just exquisite! Then, had to try the desserts, we were set on spumoni, but the waiter recommended the chocolate cake. It was served with vanilla ice cream, yum. The chocolate was moist had walnuts and like a brownie and not too rich either. Perfect! Certainly will be going back here and bringing the pup with us. We loved the open air and breeze and the walls are high enough to block the sight of cars. Twinkle light up above add a nice touch. They also had a separate water boy, impeccably dressed and well mannered. So nice to see staff so attentive to really good service with kindness and caring tones. Can't wait for the next happy hour! I am very grateful for Jason and the entire staff at Jack's. We booked a table for 2 on a Friday evening effortlessly. My wife had a raspberry lemon drop, and I had a refreshing soda water with lime. The Caesar salad was very green with light dressing and a generous amount of anchovies. My wife was hooked on the Calamari, and I really enjoyed the Sand Dad's with Rice Pilaf and mixed vegetables. The ambiance was bright yet low-key, the service was very timely, and the attentiveness of Jason with our requests put our minds at ease. You should definitely stop by Jack's! read more

This is a very easy business to review because everything about it was 5 stars: Excellent Food Excellent Menu Excellent Atmosphere Excellent Service Reasonable prices for what is offered. If you work in the restaurant industry and want to learn how to operate a great fine dining restaurant, come and get a job here. The Salmon dish (34) was excellent--came with great veggies and pasta. I eat Salmon all over the world and at home and this was one of the best. The Eggplant Parm Appetizer (18) was a bit on the overpriced side for it's size like Appetizers tend to be but was excellent. The free water and bread was also very good. They have a free parking lot on the side or else park on the street for free. They have indoor seating and a covered patio. Great place for everyone: Date night, birthday celebration (there was one going one), Girls dinner, guys night out, business dinner, or dinner on your own on the patio. Expect to spend about $50 a person for dinner with Apps, more if you order alcohol. I would come back for the Salmon dish again. read more

Such a cute little Italian spot! More on the pricey side, but it felt like a nice place for a date night or special dinner. The inside is pretty small, but our waiter was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming which made the experience even better. Their patio/outdoor area was adorable too -- I'd love to go back and sit outside when the weather is nice. I ordered the Rigatoni Amatriciana and really enjoyed it. Looks like it was gonna be a nice place. We are excited about going to a nice restaurant. We especially love Italian and we enjoy eating in nice restaurants. This one looked promising except when the waiter brought us our bread he said are you ready to order? I said no, we'll wait till we get our appetizer we're still Looking, he walked away came back a few seconds later and said, and I quote "just so you know next time we'd like to take the full order and we'll bring it out accordingly. We went with a friend's family for mother's Day, and there was a special mother's Day menu, so I don't know if any of these items are available on the regular menu. The restaurant decor was very nice, though or table for 6 was pretty cramped. The service was very good and the manager/owner (I don't know, but the guy seemed to act like an owner) personally came over and was very accommodating to special requests. The food overall was ok, but not great. I had the cioppino which had a generous amount of fish and clams, but the broth lacked flavor and the fish was definitely overcooked. My son had the seafood pasta and he had the same impression. My wife had the lobster ravioli and said it was bland. (But, in my opinion, lobster ravioli is just a bad idea -- lobster has a great but subtle flavor. Unless you dump a ton of sauce on it, stuffing it into pasta is going end with something bland.) My son's friend had the osso buco and he said it was very good. The shrimp scampi was also overcooked. Again, the service was very good. I would rate the food at 3 stars but I'll bump up to 4 because of the great service. read more

I did write a review on Jacks Woodside Grille ever time I went, but if you're not sure yet, let me tell you their service help and their chefs are fabulous. Their soup is delicious. That barbecue ribs are tender and juicy and wonderful. I love the zucchini, fried zucchini, breaded delicious and of course the peanut butter chocolate pie. It's like eating a cloud on a sunny day you can't live with it and you can't live without it. Take some home because it's always good during the week when you can't get to Jack's Grille but you need that sensation of swallowing a cloud that's tasty. Don't question it go eat there. We stumbled across Jacks while waiting for our takeout order from another restaurant near by. We decided to go in and get a few drinks and maybe some appetizers. We sat at the bar and got some drinks. We didn't realize they had such a great happy hour menu! Monday through Sunday! That's amazing not many places have that. I ordered a Paloma which was not on the happy hour menu . My mistake which I had seen the menu first. My husband ordered a whiskey sour . We also got some appetizers, Fried artichoke hearts and the meatballs. Mario the bartender also got us some bread. The bread was nice and soft it was a delicious focaccia. I had never had fried artichoke hearts and they were delicious! The tangy sauce they are served on it amazing I was even putting it on my bread.Then we had the meatballs and those were delicious as well. Perfect size meatballs and the delicious sauce . Our guests absolutely loved their meals -- the portion sizes were generous, and everything was delicious. The service truly stood out. Our server was attentive from the moment we arrived and continued to circulate throughout the party, making sure everyone had what they needed without ever being intrusive. The space itself is fantastic. It offers the perfect indoor-outdoor feel -- a tented setting with cozy heaters that keeps everyone comfortable, but without that stuffy indoor atmosphere. It created such a warm, celebratory vibe. I also appreciated being able to bring in my own cakes. What a happy and unexpected surprise to find this little gem! We drove hours to eat at Truly Pizza next door. Once we arrived, there was a 2 hour wait to sit at the counter only! We were hungry and tired of driving. In the adjacent parking lot we found Jack's! We wanted to stick with Italian since that was our original plan. It was delicious!!! We walked right in. We're immediately greeted by two friendly gentlemen. We sat in a quaint dining room. After hearing the specials and ordering our drinks we were ready to order. We got the complimentary bread basket. It had foccacia bread and crispy bread. Both were yummy with balsamic. We ordered garlic bread. I didn't see it on the menu. But the waiter mentioned it. Perfect crispy and crunchy oven baked garlic bread! We ordered a pizza, spaghetti bolognese and a filet mignon. All of them were very good. The classic pizza had the sweetest and freshest tomato sauce! We all loved everything! My mom's jack and cokes were only 10 bucks! The service was very attentive and friendly. I would like to start with the friendliest service we received while making a reservation on the phone. We request for a table for six last minute and the restaurant was very accommodating giving us a high bar style seating. Table service was excellent. Our waiter was friendly and made a note to speak about all the specials and the dinner prices. Our group ordered a wide variety of dishes from a Greek Salad to Chicago Style Pizza to a Pollo Chicken Marsala and potato Gnocchi alla Genovese ! The Greek salad was a tad overdressed but well seasoned and produce was fresh. I especially loved the pollo Marsala because the chicken was well cooked and seasoned lightly. This was the first restaurant I had that the Marsala sauce was not overly salty. It was so good. Company was good and drinks were very delicious.
