The owners are so wonderful and the vibes are so great here, I would definitely recommend stopping in for a drink, I made some nice friends here tonight! They do their best to make everyone comfortable

Our server Claudio at Brio made the entire experience exceptional. He was incredibly personable, kind, attentive, and genuinely warm. His hospitality was outstanding, and you can tell he takes great pride in what he does. It feels like he's been here for a long time, and that level of experience really shows. The food was wonderful, but the service is what truly made this meal memorable. I'll absolutely be coming back because of him. Thank you for such a great experience!

Hubby and I tried this place for the first time and it was amazing. There's live music tonight which is a bonus because the food was delicious! Claudio took excellent care of us while we were here. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Claudio was an amazing server. He greeted us and took care of us every step of the way! All the recommendations he gave was perfect. Delicious food! Lobster bisque, spaghetti, tortellini... wished we could have tried more! Next will be coming back!

We enjoyed a quiet dinner at Brio, after seeing a movie across the street at Cinépolis. Our waiter was friendly and professional, he knew the menu well, and wasn't pushy about ordering the priciest menu items like many servers are. We split a Caesar salad with added anchovies. The chopped romaine had a lot of stems and pale leaves, too little green on the plate which was a little disappointing. Sole Piccata, a soft fish, was perfectly cooked with a tasty sauce, capers and colorful vegetables. As it was a Tuesday, we also had the Pasta Fromagio (sp) special which was equally delicious. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back to Brio as they have live music on Friday and Saturday nights.

Excellent food and service! Claudio is amazing as usual! Great live music and would definitely recommend.

Claudio is the best, he made us (and our dog) feel SO welcome

Claudio thank you SO much for the hospitality. We truly love eating here...from the food to the environment, we have no notes. I'm currently enjoying the Tiramisu and so happy about my decision ;) My wife and I cannot wait to return

First off, it has a great vibe inside with large booths, a bar, and then on the other side more of a dining vibe, and an outdoor patio. I went on a Saturday night around 6:45 and there was plenty of seating available. We started with some complimentary focaccia with olive oil and balsamic, and then I ordered the cheese and spinach ravioli, that comes with a small side salad. My friend ordered the chicken Parmesan and I highly recommend. That one also comes with a baby side salad as well as broccolini and a small portion of delicious fettuccini Alfredo. It was quite the meal. We finished dinner with one of the best pieces of tiramisu I've ever had. The portion was huge, enough to have some left over for later. I wish I could remember our server's name...she was wonderful! Super friendly and helpful. She also gave great recommendations on what to order. Looking forward to coming back soon!

The service was fine overall, but we didn't feel particularly welcomed. The complimentary bread was good, although I wish it came with salted butter instead of unsalted. We also ordered the garlic bread, which was more like a garlic pizza crust and was a bit dry and lacking in flavor. I ordered the Margherita pizza, which was probably my favorite part of the meal. The sauce and cheese were delicious, and the crust had a great texture. My only complaint was that the dough could have used a little more salt. My friends ordered two different pasta dishes, and our waiter strongly advised against one of them, saying it wasn't what people usually expect. We found that a little odd because, after trying it, it tasted like a fairly standard pasta dish to us. Overall, Stella's Italian was just okay. We enjoyed some parts of the meal, but nothing really stood out.

Wednesday night, dead quiet. Most of San Juan was a few blocks away at the concert, leaving us with the rare luxury of a peaceful patio and a little breathing room. We found a beautiful bottle of Italian wine, listened carefully to the specials like civilized adults pretending not to already know what we wanted, and split a Caesar to start, solid, classic, no nonsense. Then came the real business. Sylvia went with shrimp and angel hair. The shrimp? Perfectly cooked. That elusive sweet spot so many kitchens miss by a mile. Not rubbery, not underdone. Just right. I went for the Osso Buco, boldly promised to rival my grandmother's. Dangerous claim. But they backed it up. Deep, rich, slow-cooked soul food, the kind of dish that tastes like somebody's been standing over it all day, caring. They even brought the marrow spoon, which tells you everything you need to know about intent. Food? Five stars. Wine? Five stars. If I'd tweak anything, it's the details. The waiter and bartender were both in oversized black T-shirts with the logo. Functional, sure, but swap those for black collared shirts and the room instantly feels more polished. The patio could use a little love too. Nothing dramatic. Just tighten it up. Because in this business, especially now, the margins between good and unforgettable are razor thin. Crivello's already has the hard part nailed. A little sharper presentation, and they're dangerous.

We came into Homeslice today to watch the USA v Belgium World Cup game. We arrived around 5:10pm…read morejust after the game started, and were seated at a table on the patio. There was a large group of people (started as a group of five but grew to about 10-12 people) who ended up bleeding into the table next to us and asked if they could take our two extra chairs. Being friendly, we said "sure, no problem!". Shortly after, Marc came over and asked if our chairs had been taken and we let them know that the group next to us asked for them. In response, with deep condescension he responded "No, that isn't okay we have a lot of people waiting", which we understood but we also don't work there and aren't going to be rude to fellow patrons. He then told the group next to us he needed the chairs back only to not actually use said chairs for seated guests. It left all of us very confused for the unnecessary interaction. About 15 minutes later, my husband was looking for our server to order another drink and close out, when Marc came up and told us he needed the table. Mind you, we took time out of our evening to get there early for the game (as did everyone else that evening) and there was no signage nor a heads up from the team onsite that there was a limit on the tables, especially as we weren't the only people there for the very same reason. We had been there about 1.5 hours at that point and there was only a little bit left in the game. The group next to us who had also been there the entire time, and got sat before we did, weren't told they needed to get up, but we were given the third degree for our two spots. When my husband asked if he could get that next drink, Marc responded "I don't take orders" and walked away. Our server then proceeded to not check on us for an additional 20 minutes (we were trying to close out as requested), which ironically made it so we took up their table for the remainder of the game. He also mentioned that he ran into a similar issue with guests the previous week for the game, which sounds to me like an opportunity for better problem-solving skills and coaching amongst the team, not a customer-issue. All of this, only for there to be NO wait when we left AND open tables. Being that my husband and I are both in hospitality management, we were extremely frustrated by the lack of respect and embarrassing customer service by none other than Marc Sullivan, a co-owner of Homeslice. I think it's a bare minimum ask that the management and ownership, have the same decency and respect for paying customers that they expect of the rest of their service staff. By the time we got to our car it was 7pm and hadn't even been two full hours, all for our table to not even be needed. Totally understand it being a busy night but highly recommend that the team game plan better rather than making it the customers' responsibility to highlight where this situation could have been improved. Really bummed to have this experience as we're DP locals and love coming to eat/drink here!
