We haven't ordered food here yet but it looks fantastic when we've seen it coming out. The service has always been great! The decor and feel is warm and welcoming. I truly enjoy every time we visit and look forward to the next visit!

Went last night to The Station for live music and drinks/food. Wow everything was awesome! Service by Dustin was really great! The band called Mike Staggs & The Soul was off the charts!!! Such a great selection of rock classics, bringing the folks to the dance floor! Ryan was behind the bar and made delicious cocktails! Highly recommend!!!

This bar restaurant is a vibe! It's right next to the train tracks so you can see the train come by every so often. There's also a couple train cars with comfy seating inside. The staff are friendly and stop by often to check up on you. We ordered a couple drinks. I got a lychee cocktail and it was pleasantly refreshing.

Alright people... this is a South County hidden gem with TONS of potential. Looks like this place is going under NEW management and heading in the right direction. This was my first time trying this place out and I enjoyed my time there. With this restaurant being in the heart of San Juan Capistrano, I'm sure this place will thrive. The restaurant it self is built around a train perfectly made for its location. The inside is beautifully designed and decorated in theme with this vintage shabby chic vibe. A place you Instagram lovers would love to take those "look at where I went" photos. There are a couple of things I would update, however at the end of my visit I ran into the new owner and he was 12 steps ahead of me and read my mind! We came in specifically for the live music which was such a surprise to hear how good they were - "Love Covers" from HB, check out their Instagram! No cause by the band, but this place was Dead. I'm not sure if it's cuz it's a Thursday, or perhaps because it as left a bad taste in the local's mouth (I read some of the reviews), or if it's just a transitional period for what it will become. So the first thing that I would make sure you're aware of is that this place goes by multiple names on different sites depending on where you're looking. "The station" "Paddy's at the station" and it also comes up, depending on where you're looking, as an Irish bar. If they are shooting for an Irish bar, I got every vibe except for that. When we walked in, we were greeted by a server and by the new owner. Very welcoming very educational, very friendly. I feel like this place took me back to a vintage lounge and definitely has the feel that they could have a speakeasy somewhere hidden in that location (which they don't, but man that would be a money maker!) some updates to the menu are coming this week, as well as to the drinks and spirits thy serve. Overall, I would definitely check this place out, regardless of what some of those locals have to say. Although I am coming from barely north Orange County (almost LA county) I feel that sometimes locals take for granted a good thing. Make your way down there. Check the spot out give this new owner a chance. I'll be going back this Friday to watch a cover band that they are promoting. I'll definitely update this review. Should I need to, and I look forward to eating off of their new menu and ordering from their updated drink list.

Visited The Station for a date night. Have always been curious to dine in due to the train look. Visited on a Friday night and they had a cover charge of $20 for the band performing for the night. However watching the performance was optional, so was seated away from performance area. Which had a more private cozy feeling with window view from booth. From the hostess to the waitress received friendly service. I had my appetite set on the shepherd's pie but found out that due to new management that was no longer on the menu, so I went with one of their brisket burgers & side of coleslaw. The burger overall was good just a bit of a dry patty for being brisket but still flavorful. Cocktail drinks were delicious.

Beautiful ambience and the best BLT sandwich and truffle fries I have ever tasted! Also, excellent service! B.L.T.A. SD Truffle Parm Fries

My family and I love this place! We used to come here back when it was Paddy Station and always appreciated the fun vibe, especially the free arcade games, which my husband and son loved. Fast forward to a few weeks ago: my husband and I returned for a long-overdue date night, and we were blown away! The place has been beautifully renovated with stylish furniture, a great ambiance, and that night they had amazing DJs Bobby Mac and Malia Ward, spinning tracks that took me straight back to the good ol' days of Sunset Strip nightclubs in LA. I danced like Britney Spears in her IG videos! We loved it so much, we came back with our son a week later for dinner. The food did not disappoint, highly recommend the pretzels, wings, and truffle fries. That night, we also had the pleasure of meeting the owners: Randy, Luke, and his gorgeous wife, who was so sweet and down-to-earth. They made us feel incredibly welcome. What we love most is the vibe: during the day, it's a laid-back, family-friendly restaurant, perfect for kids and casual meals. But at night, it transforms into a lively bar and club scene with great bands and DJs,adults only! It's the best of both worlds. This place is friendly, has great food, music, and service, just bring back the old arcade games, please! That was such a fun touch. The live bands are top-tier, the service is outstanding, and our favorite waitress, Lili, always takes such great care of us. We showed up to what's now our new go-to spot, and we'll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend!

AMAZING FOOD. AMAZING DRINKS. AMAZING STAFF. AMAZING AMBIANCE. We went to The Station to start our date night. I feel as though it can go overlooked since it is directly next door to Trevor's on the Tracks; however, this restaurant is so cool as is in the middle of a train station so the decor/ vibe already 10/10. We sat in the bar since it was a childless date night for us. Our bartender/ server was absolutely amazing and personable and I wish I could remember his name but he was a taller African American man who was dressed so nicely and had beautiful longer braided hair. I was so impressed how no matter who walked in, he knew his regulars and their drink orders and remembered details about their lives. We love a personable, caring server/ bartender. With that being said, we had amazingly made drinks and well as indulged in yummy appetizers and entrees. We will be back and I highly recommend.

Every time l've eaten here, the staff has been so friendly and accommodating! I really enjoy chatting with the sweet, attentive servers and friendly bartenders. I love the salmon and halibut, farmers market salad, and sweet potato fries. I don't eat red meat and the kitchen is always great about adding extra veggies for me. When my daughter is visiting from college, she always gets the flat iron or Boursin chicken with garlic mash and cleans her plate! The ambiance is that perfect mix of clean, spacious and nice but not ever stuffy. Love the couches and palm trees and the patio on sunny days! It's also a fun live music venue and a great place to meet friends for a game of pool, drinks and apps. They've respected the history of the building while making it welcoming and accessible to everyone. Watching the train go by from their huge dining room windows is amazing. It's tucked just beyond the chaos of River Street in a perfect spot! Enjoy!!

First, there's the sophisticated bar, which is smoke-free and the perfect spot for high-end spirits and amazing cocktails (The Gov'ner Old Fashioned is a must-try!). The staff are welcoming, friendly, and always smiling! They've started adding some events to the schedule, like Whistlepig/Cigar tastings, Cajun Boil, Macallan tastings, and wine tastings. They're also introducing a late-night happy hour with food and live music, which is a great way to enjoy a sophisticated drink when most restaurants have closed in the area. The second part of the lounge is the two cigar lounges: the day lounge and the VIP lounge, which has lockers. Both lounges have high-end luxury seating and lots of screens for all your favorite sports. The staff keeps the lounges clean with friendly service. At the back, there's a walk-in humidor that's well-stocked with a great selection, including Davidoff, Padron, Opus X, Fuentes, My Father, Foundation, and Placencia, just to name a few. The Winston House stick blended by Placencia is an incredible stick for an exceptional price! Both lounges have a bunch of friendly regulars, so it's always easy to find conversation, or you can just relax and enjoy the moment! This place is a hidden gem that I consider to be the best cigar lounge in SoCal!

Over the course of almost 5 months, they did NOT grant the refund, in fact, I'm being charged more now for my membership even though I am grandfathered in. Once I posted this review, this is the response I received via email. From Rick (CEO and Managing Partner) "NO that will not happen. No one promised you a refund to October. Their behavior is that of a company on the verge of closing.

Their website teases that food is coming soon. It is a fairly small place and I would definitely recommend making a reservation on Yelp. If there are no reservations available when you want to visit, they also have a Yelp live waitlist. The building has its own parking lot with about ten spaces and is shared with the sushi speakeasy upstairs. We arrived around 6:30pm on a Sunday night, and luckily there were still quite a few spaces available. A half hour later, the place was packed. The outside of the building is not marked. Enter through the red double doors in front, walk to the right, and the entrance will be easy to spot. Seating options include eight seats at the bar, four high-top tables in the main area that seat four people each, and a slightly raised grotto area with one four-seat table and two two-seat tables. We often like to sit at the bar, but I reserved a table in the grotto so we could get the full experience and I'm glad I did. The interior has great décor with a mix of tiki and pirate ship elements. The walls are wooden plank, with cargo netting, ropes, and tiki lights above. The walls have portraits of Goonies movie characters. Take two steps up to the grotto area, and you are inside of a cave with skulls, shells, and treasures embedded in the cave walls. There is also a small waterfall in the corner. Scan the QR code on the table for the cocktail menu. It is colorful and many of the drinks have names tied to The Goonies. Each drink also has zero, one, or two skulls next to it to indicate the booziness factor. They have quite a few original cocktails as well as classic tiki drinks, a few mocktails, spirits, beer, and wine. I started out with the Ash Landing (Hamilton Pot Still Blonde Rum, Hamilton 86 Demerara Rum, Hamilton Pimento Dram, Angostura Bitters, Pineapple, Lime, Ginger, One Skull booziness, $14). This was definitely a little on the boozy side, with good ginger flavor and the pineapple and lime in the background. She started out with the One-Eyed Willy (Pou Vodka, Lychee, Guava, Coconut, Sweet & Sour, $15, keep the mug for $65). It is rare that a vodka drink is my favorite of the night, but this was both of our favorites. It was very balanced and juicy, and not boozy at all. The guava, coconut, and citrus from the sweet and sour were all there. We bought the mug, and they bring you a new one in original packaging. The purchased mug is colored a little differently (blue instead of black) than the mug the drink is served it, but it still looks great. While walking around taking pictures, I ran into our server and mentioned that it was my girlfriend's birthday. He kindly brought us some shots on the house. He said it was a recipe they had for shots during Halloween, and it tasted like a spin on a kamikaze. It was very good and much appreciated. I have a hard time resisting a cool mug, so for my second drink I ordered the Slick Shoes (Planteray Pineapple Rum, Worthy Park Rum, Bounty Dark Rum, Strawberry, Papaya, Lime Juice, $17). It is served in a cool sneaker mug with a flaming lime half on top. It was nicely balanced and just a tiny bit boozy. It had a nice light fruit flavor, not overly sweet at all. I think it is sometimes served in a regular glass, so if you order it, be sure to ask for the sneaker mug. Her second cocktail was the Never Say Die (Producer Mezcal, Kiwi, Lemon, Mango, Grilled Pineapple, $14). The smokiness of the mezcal was on the hairy edge of being too smoky for me, but she loved it. She could taste the kiwi and mango. We shared one last drink, the Garden of Eden (Papa's Pilar Blonde Rum, Lavender, Lemon, Elderflower, Cucumber Bitters, One Skull booziness, $17). It had an interesting (good) floral flavor profile, and didn't strike me as boozy at all. I could definitely taste the cucumber notes from the bitters. There was good 80s music playing in the background. It's a Goonies themed bar, I get it, but we would have enjoyed a few tiki songs in the mix too. There is one unisex restroom out in the lobby area. It is nice that they also themed it with wooden plank on the walls and ceiling, and some nautical décor. Daniel was our server and was very friendly and provided great service. Thanks again Daniel for the birthday shots! Bartender Felipe also delivered one round of our drinks and was also very friendly. All of the drinks were good and there are definitely more on the menu that we would like to return and try. We had a real fun time, thanks Lost Inferno!
