    Taco Tuesday menu
    Sean D.

Stopped here on "taco Tuesday" where they have a special food and drink menu...sat outside on the front "porch" area that must be a byproduct of Covid...it was nice, great night with a slight breeze...service was very good, she took our drink orders and returned a few minutes later when we ordered food...the tacos are small street style and you get two for the $7, we ordered two of the ahi tuna and one each of the fish and carne asada...the tacos are served by themselves with no sides so if you are really hungry you may want to go in a different direction...the ahi were the best imo, nice chunks of tuna and a somewhat spicy dressing...the fish and asada were also very good but not as filling as the ahi....the Mexican beers were $5 today as well so à corona was in order....other drink specials were the margarita for $9 or $10 depending on the style...my son was still hungry after the tacos so he ordered a small clam chowder which he really liked....the full menu is also available but happy hour does not take place on Tuesday's....all in all a good experience, nice to sit outdoors and eat and San Clemente is a nice small town without a lot of drama...would return again in future, RECOMMEND

Great place! We came for a birthday dinner and I had a great salad. The music was super loud inside but luckily we sat outside and it was perfectly fine!

We stopped here for a quick dinner. Ordered the blackberry salmon and filet mignon medallions with seasonal veggies. Our waitress was great very attentive. We sat outside because there was a live band and it was a bit loud inside. Guy with a guitar he was pretty good. The food was cooked perfectly. The salmon was sweet and sauce was a little seedie. The mashed potatoes were tasty. The gravy was on point. Totally worth the trip.

We love everything about this place! It is our family's go-to lunch spot on our trips from LA to San Diego for over ten years. The service is always amazing and friendly and food is fantastic. The best fries, ahi tuna sandwich, lobster and shrimp tacos, burgers, sandwiches and drinks. Elijah and Chelsea thank you for the wonderful service! We will always return here!

Great atmosphere there are so many beautiful art pieces and the band the Lovelies was playing and they were incredible. Great Shirley temples, the Brussels sprouts tastes very good the edges were crispy and sweet and the spicy ahi tuna was so so good.

Fantastic service at Beach Fire! I came during the later afternoon and enjoyed a meal on the patio. It was such a beautiful day and once it got a little breezy, we got the heaters turned on and it was perfect. The food was delicious too. I highly recommend the cauliflower appetizer!!

We went here Friday evening. They had live band playing. The place was busy. The vibe and ambiance was great. We enjoyed our time here. All the 3 items we ordered were very flavorful and tasty. The wonton mentioned in the Spicy Tuna was not really wonton but nonetheless it was yummy . Blackberry Mojito Salmon was absolutely mouthwatering. Little bit of blackberry jam, lemony and minty.

Tonight I was able to be sat right away and it was super cozy right next to the fire place. The fish and chips were good and our waitress was very nice and attentive.

4 stars because I would go back. Some STRONG margaritas and mojitos. Maybe we are just light weights. I enjoyed my ahi tacos, rice was a bit dry. Also enjoyed to s'mores special dessert, wishing for a bit more marshmallow to gramcracker ratio. Sat outside and was able to have my pup with me which is a plus. Good service.

Sean was our server today. We sat at the bar. Completely different experience than two previous times we tried this spot. Everyone was really nice. Good food. I ordered the steak and eggs and my boyfriend got the buffalo cauliflower. Sean looks like he could make drinks with his eyes closed. He was on it. Checked in with us. Brought us drinks, refills, made recommendations. It's a very relaxed vibe. Tons of locals. The place was busy and everyone was having a good time. We will be back for sure.

    Always good love the soup

It feels like a local spot with endless options to enjoy. Their baristas (Lucy is the best) can make everything but also don't shy away from suggesting something new. I've recently fallen in love with an iced flat white with vanilla for a little summer sweet treat. Their drip coffee is divine too! Talk about range... we frequent for brunch/lunch/date night too. Their wine list is truly endless. You can sit inside at the bar, at a gorgeous table with air conditioning, under their adorable pink-striped umbrellas on the patio, or in an extended patio off the sidewalk with plenty of seating. You will be treated with exceptional service regardless of seating. Their brunch menu is delicious. Their chive biscuit breakfast sandwich is incredible, as is their breakfast burrito, chilaquiles AND biscuits and gravy. To be fair, we visit most regularly for a cheese board and meat with a glass of wine. Recently enjoyed the ceviche and smash burger with side-winder fries which was hand crafted and filling. Even our young boys enjoyed every bite. On Sunday's (1st and 3rd of the month) they have live music which is wonderful. Last thing, the cellar cookie is incredible. It's hard to just drop in for a coffee and not leave with one when available. You will never regret a visit to The Cellar! One of the best places in San Clemente.

The food was good. A few surprises My sister ordered the Cali eggs Benedict the potatoes wee supposed to be smashed, they were halved. There was supposed to be sour cream on my chilaquiles and there wasn't any. It would have cut some of the sourness of the chile verde sauce. I chose poached eggs in stead of fried ones. He sadly passed away recently and his memorial is this weekend, so we tried to go to Lost Inferno to celebrate him with all his high school and college friends. We called in advance and the person we spoke to said we couldn't make a reservation unless we could guarantee 20 people, but we could walk in with a smaller group no problem. Of course we got there right when they opened and they told us they couldn't seat us for an hour. We joined the wait list and walked to a bar a couple doors down waiting for the text that our table was ready. We received a text that our table would be ready at a specific time and then 2 minutes before our table was supposed to be ready we get a text saying we were removed from the wait list with no clarification or follow up. I understand being busy/booked up, but I would have liked to have received accurate information. We could have made reservations online if we had been told. I wore his favorite Goonies Hawaiian shirt and everything expecting to have a nice time talking about my husband. I guess I'm glad we never had the opportunity to experience this level of service with my husband, and guess I won't be back seeing that he's dead and all. Edited to add tips - don't believe anything they tell you on the phone and if you really want to go, make a reservation, and apparently they will close for you if you can guarantee 20 people.
