LADIES WATCH YOUR PURSES HERE! The bartenders and wait staff were great! Management is amateur hour. We had to move 3 different times for the VIP customer. Move 1 - I did deserve this move, I sat at a reserved table because I was tired of standing and when asked to move we did to a small tabletop with no reserve sign. Move 2 - The beautiful people arrived and we were asked to move again. (FYI - the beautiful people never used this tabletop) It's very late and knew the band was ending soon, so we went inside and found a table again with no reserve sign. Move 3 - We go out to dance and start to head back to where we were sitting and all our purses were gone! But guess who was at our table the beautiful people. I go up to ask where our purses are at and they send me to a pole, where they had moved over 10 purses. I was lucky my friend had picked up my purse, we found my other friends purse at a table all by itself! To management - 1. Don't ever touch a woman's purse, the song was maybe 3 minutes long you could have waited. 2. If you are stupid enough to move a purse, be apologetic and help us find our purses. Or offer to replace our drinks you tossed. I should not have had to ask. What if my friend needed her EpiPen? 3. Everyone in your establishment is a customer, we were buying drinks and food. If I could it would be a 3.75 star review. My friend and I came here for dinner while staying down the street. It had good reviews so we gave it a shot. A wild card game was playing and the bar was about half full. We walked in from the street entrance and were told we could sit wherever we wanted. They had tvs in every direction so if you are here to watch the sport they are showing, you are in luck. We figured out our order pretty quickly: 1. Kalua pork taquitos (order of 6) - these were delicious! The pork was so well flavored. I didn't get much sauce on my taquitos as they were on the bottom but even without the sauce, they were really good. I added some tapatío which complimented it well. 2. Ahi Poke - This was a deconstructed bowl with rice, seaweed salad, poke, pickled ginger and a dab of wasabi. The amount of poke was somewhat disappointing. Considering it was $20, the fast food poke bowl places put this place to shame. The pieces of fish were tasty but I've had much better for less at other places 3. Angus beef sliders - you get 3 sliders that have avocado and a platter of fries. I added some chalula to the ketchup for the fries and some to the burger too. This was tasty as well. The crowd was very animated as their team had an incredible game so at times the place roared with excitement so my friend and I had to pause before speaking. They have outdoor seating that faces the ocean so on warmer nights I'm sure this place is packed. Overall solid experience. read more

Love this place in Dana point! It's best to visit after 4 PM then you can sit out in the patio and watch the sun setting over the water. It's a bit noisy out there, but you can do a lot of cars/people watching and you can take your dog. If you're camping at the state beach, you can almost walk here or it's a quick two minute drive. It's pretty busy on the weekend, but this is plenty of seating inside and outside. read more

Shrimp tacos ordered after, took 20 minutes and the shrimp were mealy, powdery and tasteless. No salsa, no limes, nothing as well. They're forced thawing it or something, the shrimp was awful. Heard they had $5 Mai tais and the view was nice. Looks like Mai tais are $5 all day Monday. I had two since they are pretty small. For dinner, I had the seared Ahi sandwich and Zucchini fries. Both were delicious. The zucchini fries were crispy, but yet soft. They were seasoned well. The ahi sandwich was big and it came with fries. They do put a sauce in the sandwich that is sweet and can get messy since it also has slaw. I just used a fork. We sat outside and had the best view of the sunset over the ocean.
