Place was a joke. I will never go there again. Round Table used to be good, but now apparently expensive, basic, cheap ingredients, and sloppy work. I ordered a turkey sandwich, worker took order, then came back and said no turkey. Ordered meatball sandwich, it was small, tasted cheap, put together sloppy with meatballs falling out and cheese on the bottom of the bun. I'm surprised this establishment stays in business. Ugh. Just.....ugh. This place is right down the street from my house. It is the closest pizza delivery place. And in the almost 6 years I have lived here, I have not been able to force myself to try it more than twice. And really....that was generous. Experience 1: Just moved in (the fact that this happened almost 6 years ago and I STILL remember it should be a warning sign). Everything I own is still in boxes....pizza is the way to go....right? WRONG. I called for delivery; pepperoni, mushrooms, and olives, extra sauce, and a side of breadsticks with ranch. After an hour, when it hadn't arrived, I called....they said it would be right over. Please keep in mind that I live about .2 miles from this place. It finally comes, it is cold and hard. I take one bite and I'm like....dude, this is horrible. I decided not to eat it. Thank GOODNESS, because about 15 minutes later, the guy comes back and says, Oh, sorry, that pizza was from yesterdays deliveries...it was left in my car. Here is your pizza. EWWWWWWWW. Stupid me tried this place again about 4 years later. It wasn't much better than the day old pizza. Suck it up, drive to Aliso Viejo, and go to Papa Johns. I grew up enjoying Round Table, but the lady who owns this franchise stinks. Pizza is standard Round Table which I like, but the service Stinks (with a capital S!) They hang up on you multiple times. They have no patience. They deliver to the wrong address, and when you communicate to them their errors; they just don't care. Sorry for the young people who work for her. Well, good luck. November 20th 6:45 I ordered two pizzas...expected delivery time 7:25. I call at 7:45...I was told "they are on their way." 8:15...no PIzza...now I'm embarrassed because my guests are hungry. I call back again..."It's on the way...Nice and Hot..we lost your order." No one ever asked me to recall my order...so how did you lose it and then find it again. I told the woman on the phone with an accent (important, as I will speak to the same woman again 3 weeks later), that this was unacceptable. I then preceded to remind her of what happened a few weeks ago...she says "I have nothing in the computer, what do you want to order....can you hold" Puts me on hold before I can say anything. Have you ever been to a place where you ordered and they said 20 minutes and a whole 45 minutes to an hour later your food is ready? I have its called San Clemente Round Table. This place is gross, the boss/owner Lady is yelling at her employees in front of customers, they run out of product and cant make my order correctly, and last but not least your salad that you order for delivery is made by your driver whom has not washed his hands in the 30 minutes i have been there. I love this place. Have been going for ever. The best pizza and best staff. We went Friday evening and ordered and there was a birthday celebration going on and the owner was given some cake. The owner asked if we wanted some cake while we were waiting for our order and we said yes! She gave us a big slice and wrapped it up for us. She is so sweet and nice. Every time we come in she has a big smile and makes us feel like family. Thank you for always treating us so kind and the cake was awesome! read more

Stopped in on my way to San Diego and got the last take out order of the night. Staff was prompt and courteous. The female cashier even complimented me. Well, after having a great run with this location, my pizza had some cardboard as an extra topping. Called the store, they answered by saying " we are closed "; but how is that I ask, "it's our company holiday party" And thus, the drunk employee tells me that their hard working employees (who by my pics, do an outstanding job!) Deserve a holiday party. I agree. And my children deserve dinner and I deserve to, but the drunk store manager felt the need to, rather than offer a solution, tell me how it is what it is, and do you want me to just send a other one - ya, to eat 90 minutes after my first order was delivered, and was hung up on. I called back and asked for a manager, and then is seems as Judy, with an accent I could barely understand, tells me to go f@ck myself. Wow.....this places warrants our business...good luck! San Clemente has many pizza options and I'll gladly drive down to La Roccos than deal with this cesspool of a restaurant. A shocking and vile display of Brand representation; the only best team practice I experienced was to be a crude and rude as possible to guests. I finally received a message from Round Table's social media which offered me a voucher for a free 2 topping medium pizza (see attached photo). I just came back from driving to the establishment and trying to redeem this coupon and it was an even worse experience than the first time. First the young man who was taking my order was confused about the voucher so he went and got the Manager. She took one look at the email and said something about the "Yelp issue is not resolved". Now if this is implying that I need to remove my Yelp review no where in the email I got does it say I need to resolve or remove the review. In fact if the manager would have asked me to do it right there I would have but she just walked away and said to not honor this voucher without even trying to resolve the issue. If you are reading this do not give this establishment any business, drive to the Dana Point one instead. read more

What you would expect from a Round Table Pizza Restaurant. Food is average pizza fare. They have a dinner buffet that is priced great and for the price it is good, unfortunately the food on the buffet usually goes faster than they can put new pizzas up and it is generally full of screaming, crying, unruly kids running around. I have to hand it to them though, catering to the kids, they have face painting and a raffle drawing for candy and board games out. Plenty of video games in the arcade as well. Don't get me wrong, I love kids, but not having any small children of my own my patience for screaming and disobedient children is too short to really deal with this place. When I do go there now, it is usually about a half an hour before the buffet is over. Fewer kids and less noise.. read more

This is my first time ever ordering/ eating here, I tried ordering my food on the website but it would not accept my card and that's fine I had no problem ordering over the phone, prior to that I signed up for the rewards program and it said I was going to get 6 free bread twist but since it was not allowing me to check out online I was going to ask them to add it over the phone. I called and right off the bat the lady was rushing me, got all my contact info and asked for my address I couldn't even speak to let her know my apartment number because she kept interrupting me and talking over me. The first thing I tell her is what pizza I wanted and she again she doesn't let me talk and she tells me "okay your total is $24" and I continue to tell her no I'd like to order more and she says "what do you want" I continue to tell her the rest of my order and she continues to interrupt me and talk over me, I was beginning to get irritated, then I ask about the bread twist and AGAIN she interrupts me and says "You have to order that online I can't help with that" and I say back to her "well if you would let me finish I can explain, it will not allow us to add anything online, it's not working" and she talks over me while I'm trying to explain "I can't help" literally two second later she says "ok you want breads twist fine I'll give them to you" so I say thank you and she asks for my card number, I tell my roommate I'll read off his card and SHE SAYS "wow bossy lady" and is laughing. Now.. I did not hear what she said because once again she was talking over me while I trying to give her the card number. So I did not say anything back, after I'm done reading the card she tells me they're under staffed but the food will still come hot and ready and tells me thank you, I was mad so I did not say anything and I expected her to hang up, she said again "ok thank you" and hangs up. THIS WAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, I am not ordering from this location again. I was expecting good customer service from all the reviews I was reading and this was just bad. For me, Round Table is the best/my favorite pizza chain currently in CA. Despite being a bit pricy for pizza, it's well worth it. What I really like about the San Clemente location is that it has that "old Round Table" vibe to it. So you got great atmosphere, great pizza, and great service from the employees. She's never happy, never a smile for most anyone- except maybe her regulars. I come in every once in a while cuz, lets face it, I crave this pizza sometimes.
