The sandwiches were very fresh, savory, crispy, flavorful, cheesy, and delicious. Also, the nacho cheese Doritos were super tasty, crunchy, and the pink lemonade was really sweet and refreshing, too, good service, nice atmosphere and I had an excellent experience here today. read more

I've lived in Dana Point for my whole life, 51 years. I'm also a local business owner and very well connected in this town. The people running this Jersey Mike's operation have horrific customer service skills. There is a high level of arrogance and disdain for the # one asset, YOUR CUSTOMER!!!!!!! I'm not going back to pay $12 for a sandwich that I could make for myself. It's shameful!!!! read more

The food is great and I love Jersey Mike's but the lady in there was so rude and had an attitude when we asked for a California chicken. She said we don't have that. We explained that it's just cheesesteak with tomato and lettuce and mayo. She proceeded to correct us with attitude saying it's called the cheesesteak. But on the MENU it says California chicken cheesesteak sub. Unprofessional to argue over name technicalities especially when we took the time to explain how it is made esp since we know they have a lot of subs but that attitude was crazy hope she has a better day cause I shouldn't have to deal with that rudeness to get a sub. read more

Placed a togo order on the Jersey app, but it said it would be ready in 45 minutes, while we were just 10 minutes away from the store. Even though we got there about 30 minutes earlier than pickup time and they were quite busy, the staff made our order to get us going so we didn't have to wait long. Thanks to these guys all working hard on a Sunday. Appreciate ya'll! Sandwiches were solid as always. Devoured by the beach on Doheny. read more

I love Jersey Mike's and I love that they cater to GF, but this is by far the worst Jersey Mike's I have ever been to! We had walked in right when they opened and was instantly turned off by the lack of acknowledgment or greeting from the one person working there. And then it just got worse. I asked him since I do have a gluten allergy if they can prepare my sub gluten-free, which a more appropriate response should've been yes of course we can prepare a GF by changing gloves or using a different knife however, he literally replied " well I can't change the area." sir, I'm not asking you to do that and definitely didn't appreciate the sarcasm. Since we put in another order for a different sub, I chimed in and said they would also like these toppings, to which he then responded if I'm speaking for the other person?? But asked in such a rude manner. The whole experience was offputting and put a really bad taste in my mouth and it was all because of his customer service. Will never be back to this particular location and hoping they trained their staff better on customer service. Ps I was glutened. read more

Yesterday I pre-ordered 8 subs and added 2 more at the store. The guy behind the counter was absolutely rude and arrogant not only to me but also to the two other customers who came to pick up order while I was there Luckily I don't live in this town only visiting for a few days, if I lived here I would never come to this location. Absolutely the worst service and rude behavior I have ever seen. read more

This Jersey Mikes is in a prime location but unfortunately customer service / order accuracy and quality is lacking. Sandwich was made with the wrong bread type and bacon on the sandwich was extremely fatty & left hard fat chunks throughout the sandwich which was gross. I ordered the BLT made Mikes way with the works - too much olive oil / vinegar was used in my opinion. Left the sandwich soggy after only 5 minutes. Not sure why this sandwich got so popular on social media / why it was recommended - it was not good. I'd recommend ordering something else and ordering in person to ensure order is correct and to your liking. read more

I have no complaints about Jersey Mike's. I like ordering ahead online and picking up in store. I often come on my lunch break. This location has a decent indoor space with places to sit, as well as a nice small outdoor patio. The parking can be a bit tight sometimes. All the staff are friendly. Another plus is that they participate in a lot of fundraising! read more

Needed to eat after fasting for 16 hours. On my way to Dana Point harbor to do some work on my boat. Jersey Mike's to the rescue. Grabbed a mini #8 club sandwich to go. Reasonable price, quick, efficient, and healthier than most fast food options. Order at the counter and your sandwich is assembled right in front of you. When you get to the end of the counter pay the cashier and you are good to go. read more

While I appreciate that they prepared my sandwhich correctly this place is quite dysfunctional. The employees made me (and others in line) feel like we were inconveniencing them by doing their job. When I told the employee that I had a severe gluten allergy, her exact words were "Oof, that's gonna take a while." The food is good, like always but go to a different location. Who would have thought making a few sandwiches was so complicated! I was there for almost an hour to order 3 sandwiches. read more

Food: The Sandwich was extremely salty to the point that we just threw it away. Service: The two guys behind the counter were VERY proud to be Mexican and had to make sure you knew about it, whether you asked them about it or not. Overall experienced a pretty weirdly unpleasant vibe and quite a badly made sandwich at this store. I like Jersey Mike's but won't be going here. The owner needs to attend to their store more. read more

Horrible customer service . It was 10:30 store supposed to open at 10:00. They left us all standing there as the door was still locked and then came out. Pushed the door open and said it had been unlocked the whole time. It wasn't four different people tried to open. It knocked on the door and they just stared at us and nobody did a damn thing. Horrible read more

Service was horrible couldn't get sand-which right Mixed bread and sandwhich had to make one sandwhich 2 times notice the people behind me had made a sandwich wrong as well they didn't even say sorry nor discount wouldn't recommend franchise all employees can't handle a simple task read more

Super bummed that the worst run Jersey Mike's happens to be in Dana Point. I've always had great sandwiches from them, but this location is unlike any other location I've been to. The girl making the sandwiches was great but the guys were not. Food was 4*, service was 2* read more

Ordered a Philly cheesesteak with modifications. The guy working the counter did great and didn't forget any of them. Super fast service! Good location for a sandwich shop; inside had beach vibes. Food was super good! My sandwich was a 10/10 :) read more

Terrible Management here. Sandwiches are great but came and ordered a large sandwich for $22 and tried to pay with a Fifty dollar bill and was denied saying "we don't accept fifty dollar bills" I asked if they had a sign stating that and they do not..come on dude. Seriously. Then I come in today and order two sandwiches and ask for a water cup..."sorry we are all out of water cups they tell me" Ummm ok, it's 90 degrees outside and I just spent another $40 here for lunch with my wife and they don't even offer a regular cup for water due to thier shortcomings on keeping up with thier supplies. . Management here is failing miserably. read more

So I've driven by this place and never stopped in, but an amazing coupon deal showed up in my mailbox and thought I'd stop in and try it out. I ordered the #43 Chipotle cheesesteak sandwich. The staff was super friendly and helpful. You can tell they enjoy working there; so rare these days. The sandwich was amazing. So much so that I decided to write this review to let everyone know...give this location of Jersey Mikes a try. I'll definitely be back. read more

We stopped here to get a sandwich and only realized after we left that we'd stopped in 5 minutes before they closed. You'd never know from the service! The guy who made our sandwich was so polite and genuinely interested in chatting with us. Great spot and thank you so much. read more

Great place with many choices for a delicious sandwich! I've had many JM sandwiches over the years and this place recently have very good service and are wearing masks and following COVID safety measures. We ordered the Kahuna cheese steak sandwich this last time which is sautéed roast beef with lots of cheese sautéed onions and mushrooms and we had the jalapeños on the side. I recommend you order extra meat...it's worth the extra couple bucks! This sandwich is so filling and full of flavor. I also love the Italian sub filled with salami, ham, and cheese that I got at another time. They use top quality meats, and make your sandwich as you like it! Try it Mikes way the next time you get one here, you won't be disappointed. I'll be back! read more

Ordered two wraps for an overnight fishing trip, to be stored in a cooler, and explicitly stated that they should be wrapped in plastic! A simple request that was even printed on the receipt when I picked them up. However when I unwrapped them later to pack them in the cooler, they were in the standard paper wrapping!!! Why can't some employees follow simple instructions? The next day they both were soggy and nasty. I complained to customer service on the corporate website, and one week later I have yet to receive any reply back! I have reservations about returning read more

Very typical sandwich shop. It's an upgrade from subway in terms of meat but doesn't have e lots of toppings. Which is a good thing! A nice typical good quality sandwich! The service was friendly and they were quick and helpful. The restaurant was clean as well as the bathrooms. I got the number 8 with everything and it was delicious! read more

Opened just shy of a year and half , this JM location off PCH in Dana point is a prime example of "location, location , location"! I always drove past and today said, I'm going in! You have to slow down because the entry is kind of tricky and one may miss it. Pros, parking is abundant so don't be fooled by the minimal spaces directly in front of the store. Insider tip: there is more parking top level around the shop, at the point parking. Thank you John for giving me that insider scoop! When I stepped into this location, I was greeted by Matt (Mathew) who is one of the managers and after a brief chit chat was greeted by John a NJ transplant who made my sandwich. Loved it! He was super nice, chit chatting and comparing notes about East coast and West Coast . I joked that if it wasn't for OSHA, he could literally come to work in flip flops do his thing and go surfing after work. This location is super close to the water that it is ideal spot to grab your lunch , and head out to the pier, or surf . I will be coming back to this location again based on customer service, quality of sandwich made (Fan Favorite): CALIFORNIA CLUB, mikes way, bacon, extra lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, onions, the works, and easy on the oil and vinegar not to get the sandwich soggy.) For traveling, I usually get the giant sub, wrapped individually, oil and vinegar on the side, cut into 4s, put in my jersey mikes phone number to get rewards after each purchase and redeem for sandwiches when the time comes and head off to the next adventure food in tow inside my cooler ready and ice packs waiting. Pro tip: down load the JM app, and on your birthday you get a free sandwich. Thank you John for your laughter and smiles. Welcome to OC, and I look forward to seeing you soon. Overall, I would recommend JM Dana Point for a solid sandwich food choice if in the area. Grab your food and enjoy the beach! read more

Sandwiches come out right majority of the time but have had a handful of mess ups as well. Workers are incredibly slow and even if you order online don't expect it to be ready. Several times I've ordered 15-20 mins prior to arriving and they still haven't started my order. There's not an issue being busy since there's usually no one else inside and no orders being printed so I don't understand. Pick it up guys! read more

Personally, my sandwich of choice is Banh Mi but given a second option, it's Jersey Mikes. As the ol' saying goes, you get what you pay for and here, it's very good sandwiches. I do not frequent JMS too often but when I do, both the sandwiched and service do not disappoint. Yes, it's a tad more $$ than most sandwich places but this is not your middle-of-the-road sub shop. I used to come more often when a friend of mine, DK and I would periodically meet for lunch; JMS was his sammie-making place of choice. DK had the menu dialed in and would often order sandwiches that were a bit more custom than straight off the menu board. (There's also a "secret menu" as well.) Secret Menu - https://junkfoodblog.com/jersey-mikes-secret-menu/ When I arrived, I was the only customer in the shop, perfect. It gave me plenty of time to browse the menu. I was craving a simple sandwich so I opted for the Classic Italian. I was picking up a second sandwich for a friend who was going to meet me @ the boat. I thought I'd pick up a Cheesesteak Sandwich; sounded good @ the time... 'And looked good as well. Both sandwiches were good and the customer service was even better. Kristine & Aaron were awesome! Jersey Mike's relatively new location near Dana Point Harbor is great; nothing makes easy boat food like a good sandwich. (String cheese & jerky also work.) Kristine: great service! - https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=SCSPLYq4JjMsQuQgr38UPw&userid=O6EBodP3Fgu_n67efSKnBQ Aaron: sandwich architect @ work - https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=-Ry3o6v-rESAVfpdY8kcKA&userid=O6EBodP3Fgu_n67efSKnBQ JMS can get pretty busy, I just happened to be fortunate enough to walk in with no line @ the counter. However, I highly suggest calling your order in ahead if you're able. The last time I was here, there was about a half dozen people in line but thankfully I called my order in. I was in & out within five minutes. Easy puh'cheesey! In addition, the parking lot on that side of the plaza is not very huge and can get crowded quickly. JMS also had a sandwich rewards program, called "Shore Points." You can earn free subs but you will need to create a JMS, Shore Points account. First time at Jersey Mike's plus also been craving for a Philly cheesesteak. I don't remember the I had one--maybe 5 years ago in North OC at Charley's. JM definitely delivered, I definitely would not add avocado to it because it was an additional $2.75 8~} that I could've saved for a bag of chips. And I should've gotten a mini sized sub because they definitely filled it up with meat and cheese. Idk when I'll crave another Philly cheesesteak again, but I would definitely recommend trying theirs. read more

What's the point of mobile ordering 15 mins before picking up my order, if I get there with 2 customers inside and 3 employees making sandwiches, only to wait 10 more mins? Seriously?? Wasted my entire lunch break on waiting to make a 12 inch sandwich? Something is wrong!! And if you are looking for this location, it's at the south end, poor visibility and signage to help you find this store.. I tried calling this store so someone can help me find it, if it went to voicemail!! What's the point... ? Terrible first experience, going back to Jimmy John's from now on read more

I love Jersey Mike's! They have my absolute favorite sandwiches (#97 chicken philly with chipotle mayo yum!!). All the staff here are very warm and friendly. I placed an order online last week to have a quick pick up on my way to work. I later realized it was completely wrong, but at least the right meat type so I ate it, and thankfully don't have any allergies. The employees were very nice and it was ready before the time quoted so that was great. But if I ever go back again, I'll have to go there in person to ensure that my order is made correctly. I only made a couple of modifications, so it's not like I was being difficult. And I tipped. Looking at other reviews complaining about the same thing makes me wonder if maybe there is something wrong with the app and perhaps the employees aren't receiving the order modifications properly. Just a thought... I didn't ask for a receipt when I picked up my sandwich, so I don't know what they saw on their end. read more

**Attention Jersey Mikes Management- you have an employee working at this location that sees no problem with slamming chairs and tables around the restaurant.
