ZERO broken plates/bowls/glasses after full service packing and moving. This was a roller coaster ride of an experience. I wasn't impressed at first with their packing, but they know they're stuff and in the end, all that mattered was that my items appeared intact and they did. The packers came and spent hours packing everything down to my toothbrush, as I instructed. They labeled the boxes pretty decently so unpacking was a breeze. Use their boxes, they're much higher quality. On moving, our team was extremely positive, motivated and friendly, even after filling up an entire truck. I watched them pretty carefully and they took care handling the fragile items. All of my furniture was delivered with zero scratches in my new home. I was impressed. Some feedback: -would of been helpful if they provided the wardrobe boxes the day before -Mr Rosado had lots of "warehouse emergencies" so watch out for him using that line on you -the insurance is ridiculously expensive. Their competitors charge $10 per $1000 with a $50 deductible. Rosado has a $500 deductible! Would I use them again? Yes. Because of something goes wrong, they will make it right. We were moving from one house to another within the area, but it was a big job because we have children and all the gear that comes with that. We opted for the three-day service where a team helps us pick the day before, another team executed the move, and the first team unpacked. While not inexpensive, it was definitely good value (we got other quotes and this was in line or better), because their teams were certainly more efficient than we would have been in getting everything done. Being completely unpacked the day after the move was an incredible feeling. Everyone was careful, considerate, proactive, and communicative. We used the services of Rosado movers to move from our one bedroom apt in Sunnyvale to our 2 bedroom apt in Cupertino. The guys that came were very polite, efficient, and punctual. My experience with previous moving companies was that they never arrived on time. These guys came at 8AM on the dot and even finished the move within 3 hours. They helped us move our boxed items to the truck and also our big furniture. Our bed frame was too large to exit our bedroom so they quickly took it apart with their own tools. From my first inquiry through the end of the move today, these guys did an amazing job. I moved from Los Altos to Santa Cruz, placing all my things into a Storage unit. Robert Rosado came to my home to see what I was moving so he could give me an accurate estimate. The estimate was fair, and the follow up very professional and thorough. When Anthony, Anton, and Debi arrived at my home this morning (on time), they were courteous and professional from the moment they introduced themselves. They worked efficiently and cooperatively to get my things moved out and onto their truck. They wrapped my furniture in plastic wrap, and even thought to use some of my excess moving boxes (taping it on top and around the sides) to protect the furniture I was placing in a storage unit, since I would be storing boxes on top of those items and they were at risk of being scratched. Upon arrival at the storage facility, Anthony, Debi, and Anton got to work without delay, loading my things in expertly, and in a way I could still easily access everything. Moving can be stressful, but this part of the experience was really easy. I spoke with an extremely rude person at this company just now. I was simply asking questions as nicely as I possibly could. Earlier in the short conversation the man (don't know his name) had briefly mentioned a possible range time frame from 7-10 hours or more. I was trying to narrow down the quote just a tiny bit, so as not to waste our time or theirs (they wanted to give an in-person quote). When I mentioned the words "7 hour minimum" in my question (again, I couldn't have been nicer) he cut me off and had an extremely rude and irritated tone of voice. He said "Ma'am, I never said seven hours!" without even hearing the rest of my sentence. My husband and I were both so shocked, because we both had been there for the entire conversation, so we reminded him that he had mentioned "7-10 hours..." It was very strange. He continued to behave as though we were accusing him of saying something wrong or untrue, but all we were trying to do was get a ballpark figure to start with! Maybe this guy was just having a bad day, but there is SO much competition out there, I would NEVER hire these people, solely based on this atrocious first-impression and despicable customer service. read more

My roommate and I needed help with moving within a one-mile radius between apartments. Our previous apartment was a ground floor unit and we knew we'd need heavy lifting help with our large furniture, piano and way too many weighty boxes up a flight of stairs at the new apartment. This was the first time either of us hired a moving company, so we weren't sure what to expect. My roommate handled most of the scheduling arrangements but everything she mentioned about the process was positive. The first half of the crew arrived for our four hour time slot and immediately proposed the best strategy for getting everything loaded into the truck for one trip. Robert (company owner) actually showed up about half way through the loading process to expedite logistics and brought more moving help with him. Everyone ended up being so efficient that they completed the work about 30 minutes ahead of schedule, and this was even after putting my bed together for me (seriously unexpected bonus). We had a very good experience with Robert and the movers who helped us: Hernan, Carlos, Freddy, Juaqin, Ussen, Jason, and Filo. They were respectful, efficient, and friendly. Life in Silicon Valley is often transitional and our belongings aren't particularly sentimental or highly valuable, but it was amazing to arrange and unpack everything and see that nothing was broken or damaged: our crew did such a lovely job handling all of our belongings. I was in moving love when Roberto asked, "What else can we do? We'll do anything to make your life easier today." I moved from San Jose to San Francisco on April 4, 2019. So this review is long overdue. But because I had such a great experience with Rosado Movers, I just have to make sure I submit this review. Better later than never right? Robert (the owner) personally came to survey and provide a cost estimate. He was courteous, professional and very personable. Through conversation, I find him to be of great family values and genuine. I can't neglect to mention Brianne -- she was my first contact with the company. She was so nice and worked hard to secure my preferred move date (I was picky). She was also very patient because I told her I wanted to pack my house myself. Mind you, I am moving from a 3-bedroom in San Jose to a 1-bedroom apartment in San Francisco. It was a stressful week prior to my scheduled move date. In the end, I had to send out an S.O.S to Brianne because I just couldn't finish packing, leaving the kitchen for Rosado Movers to pack. Lucky me, she was able to accommodate. On move date, Chris, Anthony (Robert's son), Soa and Toni showed up on time and ready to go. Later on, Robert came by to check on progress. He also brought his mom (!) to help with packing the kitchen. I think her name is Susan. The team was again very professional, clean, quick and STRONG! They were careful with packing and moving the furniture and fragile items. It certainly was not an easy move -- I had a ridiculously large amount of stuff (200+ boxes! ... plus furniture). Everyone was very patient through it all. I'm sure it was very hard full day of work. It was a pleasure to work with Rosado Movers. Look no further than this excellent company. Right from the beginning, which was a phone call to Robert and Brianne in May 2016 for a quote and next for their availability.. they were polite,kind and professional. Also very accommodating and flexible. The guys they sent were exceptional.. fast, focused, professional and efficient! The move went without a hitch! My husband and I were impressed. Come August 2019, we needed to move again this time into a tri-level home from an apartment, this was a sudden move for us, but when i called they accommodated us again...and made it happen. This time with all the furniture and my million (heavy) boxes we were done in ..in my opinion record time. Haha! They asked us for every box..where would it go so that we dont have to lift a thing. Very polite guys too. This move too went great! For the junk removal.. kid you not I dialled their number and boom it was done in a couple of hours! They made some mistakes...and I would STILL hire them again. That is because their honesty and integrity really shined yesterday when they made some mistakes. To me, that is worth more than a "perfect" move. I would like to thank Robert, Geo, Havey, Nifi, Jason, and Igor for helping us move yesterday. This is our third move with Rosado (1 business, 2 personal). Both of the previous moves were excellent, no problems. For our move yesterday, most things went really well: the team arrived promptly, they were efficient, took extra care loading and unloading our TV's, and navigated really tight stairwells at our new place with great skill, etc. There were two issues with our move yesterday: 1. For a past moves, they would load then go immediately to the new address and unload. We always appreciated this because it also helped optimize my husband and my time so that we could start right in with unpacking the same day of the move and get a chunk of unpacking done that night. For this move, they loaded, then went to another job, then arrived at the new address. Normally this wouldn't have been a problem because they estimated a 1 his gap, but the time estimates were off and it ended up being 2 hours. (Robert of course stopped the clock and did not charge us for that 2 hours that they were on different job.) Robert called and apologized for the delay and sent over an additional mover to help unload, which I very much appreciated. 2. After unloading the dining room hutch there was a chip in the wood on one of the feet, possibly damaged on the truck. I want to compliment Geo especially here. He pointed the chip out to me right away, took a photo of it, and also showed it to the rest of the team so as to use it as a learning opportunity. Robert and Geo offered to repair the chip at their expense. They handled it all extremely professionally. There you have it. I will be hiring rosado for future moves and I really appreciate how they handled everything with our move yesterday, especially the mistakes. Our experience with Rosado was excellent. We were in the middle of a stressful time and didn't have bandwidth to pack ourselves.
