After a really bad wind/rain storm, the ceiling in my in-law suite began to leak. I called Roofer 911 and spoke to Steve on a late Friday afternoon and he scheduled me right away for Monday morning. After looking at the roof, and using his trusty laser, he was able to inform us that 1) the leak is an easy fix (caulking) that we could do ourselves, and 2) there's been a leak for awhile because the laser he uses detects moisture in the ceiling. Plus, he informed us that we are missing some insulation in the ceiling too. Not surprised that our contractor that built the addition made this mistake. No wonder my daughter always complains about how cold her room is in the wintertime! Steve saved us money by telling us that we could fix the roof ourselves, and we will follow up with a general contractor to fix the drywall and add insulation where needed! I am a realtor/broker and this was on my own personal home. He came to my home yesterday on Monday, July 23 sent me an estimate within 15 minutes. Great quote and he came to my home and fixed my roof at 8:15 a.m. today. I was the second job of the day. He was on time and I always received a call when he was on his way. I got before and after pictures and he also went above and beyond what was expected. He replaced 2 missing shingles and nailed down the loose shingles. I called Steve right after the storm and he told me they were 3 weeks out but was kind enough to give me a few referrals for other companies. When I called them I didn't have much luck so called back and decided to wait the 3 weeks based on the reviews. Steve was able to get us in much sooner than I expected which was great. Once we had a signed contract a team was at my house about 4 days later. Unfortunately the crew that came was awful and extremely unprofessional. I immediately called steve and not only did he apologize but came to my home to discuss what happened. Turns out it was the first day for this crew and he fired them on the spot. Steve made arrangements for his full time crew to come to my home a few days later and was personally onsite to inspect the work. He was in constant communication with me to ensure I was satisfied and was completely happy in the end. I would saw that the end result was 5 star service especially the way Steve came through in he end but could only give 4 stars because of the issues I had at the beginning. We woke up on a rainy holiday Monday to find water dripping from the wood slats on the ceiling of our kitchen and onto the floor, and with rain in the forecast for the next 24 hours at least. I tried to find a roofer via a contact and other means, but because of the holiday and emergency nature of the repairs needed, couldn't find anyone open/available. I resorted to Google for an "emergency roofer" search and came across Roofer 911. I called not expecting much, but got Steve on the first call. He said he'd come by the next morning and most likely do the repair that day as well. He gave me an 8am-noon arrival range and said he'd call 40 minutes out. Sure enough Steve called the next morning and arrived about 40 minutes after that. He did a quick, non-intrusive inspection of the ceiling and then the roof, came back and told me (and showed me on a video he took while on the roof) the various things previous contractors had done wrong. Said he'd send me an estimate via email within 15 minutes and send a crew to do the work that day if I OK'd the work. I did so, and the crew came that afternoon and did the 3 or 4 different things to make sure this leak doesn't come back (and that others that looked likely don't occur). He sent me photos of the completed work the next day, as well, and talked me through what they all meant by phone so I understood what they had done. The roof looks exactly as it did before they arrived, if not better, and no leaks since. Of course there's also been no heavy rain since, so I guess I won't REALLY know the results of the work till that happens a time or two. For now, though, I'm thoroughly happy with the work. The cost seemed a little higher than I anticipated, but I guess I also expected it to be somewhat high under the rushed circumstances. In the end, I'm not 100% sure whether I paid low, high, or about right for the work done, and short of having another competent roofer come look at the work, likely never will. From a quality/timeliness/customer service perspective, though, I couldn't have been happier with Steve or Roofer 911. read more

Called Steve late in the day and he immediately answered the phone. He actually offered to come out the very next morning which was great but I actually asked he if could come out 2 days later which worked better for me. He had no problem at with that and noted that he would give me a call on the way to my house. As promised he did call when he was on his way and it was towards the beginning of the time window he offered me. Steve was very quick in determining that our leak was active and came up with a plan of action. Roofer 911 uses infrared during the process so you can see where the water actually was coming in. He also checked the next room over to verify nothing had made its way over that way. He provided an estimate within about 15 minutes with color photos of the area that needed to be repaired via email with a link to accept or decline the work. I thought that made it very convenient as I could easily approve the work and had a digital copy of everything. Roofer 911 completed the work the very same day and Steve called to follow up to make sure I was happy with the work. Highly recommend Roofer 911!! read more

I have been dealing with a water leak for the past 3 years and had hired 2 contractors to fix the issue. Each time the issue was "fixed" it would reappear several months later. I called Roofer911 this past week to look at the problem for me and spoke with Steve. He fit in an appointment within 3 days and showed up on time (calling before he came by). I explained the problem and showed him the damage. He got on my roof and within a couple of minutes found holes in the roof which were clearly the cause of my water damage (the other contractors could not find any issues with my roof and had obviously not checked properly). Steve was able to seal up the holes with a little caulk and was finished in less than 15-20 minutes. Steve was on time, professional, polite and extremely kind. While the initial call for an estimate is free, I fully expected to be charged some amount for the work he did. Steve did not charge me a dime and would not even accept a tip I offered him. A truly magnificent human being. I cannot find enough good things to say about my experience with Roofer911 and specifically Steve. I will need to replace my roof in the coming years and will most definitely hire him to do the job. read more

I'm giving one star as this shop is using bait and switch to get clients. Tactic 1: I needed a couple things done but had an urgent leak that needed to be addressed. The roofer came, they fixed the leak, but all the other things I asked for they "didn't do". This was not at all clarified until after the inspection was already done. Sure, I am free to reject them, but I don't have a million hours to spend finding someone and I would not have had them come over had they clarified that. The work itself was good, but was overpriced, and I basically was left with having to call someone else to get the rest of the job done. Tactic 2: After the work was completed, I received a thank you email from the owner. The email lets you know that you will get a ~15% discount if you post 5 star reviews to multiple websites. The owner then says "this is not a bribe, just a token of our appreciation" but that's bending the rules. With that discount, the price is around where it should be at, but I have to provide 5 star reviews in order to get it. It's white lies like these that chip at the ethics of doing business, and I'm not giving any five star review for that. read more

Steve and his team did an excellent job repairing my roof. I found them though Yelp and was impressed by all the five star ratings and client comments. I reach out to them through Yelp and heard back within a couple of hours. We scheduled an appointment for 8am Friday, 7 Aug 2020. Steve called on his way over an arrived as promised at 8am. We talked through the issues about my roof leak and he told me what was needed to make the repair. He emailed the proposal before he left my house, then called soon afterwards to ensure I could open the document. Steve's team completed my roof repair with 48 hours of signing the contract. They also found some rotted wood under my siding and repaired that at no additional cost. The very next day it rained like crazy and there was no leak to be found. Steve made a follow-up call to ensure we were satisfied before charging my credit card. This company understands customer service and worked hard to make me feel like I was their only customer. I noticed moisture around am upstairs bathroom vent. It was raining that day and i was expecting company and wanted the leak fixed. I emailed ROOFER911 and Steve got back to me quickly and we arranged for him to come check it out and give me a quote to repair the next morning. Discovered a small stain on ceiling in a spare bedroom and called a couple of roofers to get someone to look at the problem. None of the roofers could come out for several days, except for Steve who came out next day on a Saturday morning. He quickly determined the leak was coming from the ridge vent and attic fan area. He emailed a quote in about 10 minutes that seemed reasonable. His crew came out a few hours later and discovered that a small section of plywood had to be replaced also due to it being water damaged. His crew made all repairs in about 90 minutes. I'm waiting for the next rain just to confirm leak is gone, but I don't expect any issues. The whole process was easy since Steve is extremely friendly and explains in detail what's wrong and the fix. His crew was also friendly and answered my questions. I hired Roofer911 in a pinch to fix some shoddy work from the builders of the townhouse I live in, despite a few problems on the initial work done not being to my standards the owner Steve was quick to resolve the problem and is a stand-up guy. My only advise (and this goes for any contractor in any line of business) is inspect the work done, while Steve is great to deal with in resolving the problem he obviously does not have total oversight or every job done and needs to be made aware of any problems that occur and I can guarantee that he will be quick to resolve it. read more

We had them tack up a wind blown aluminum fascia that came loose in a windstorm. Their use of technology is great (i.e- email a photo of the problem and they email you back a quote). But buyer beware! The work order said they would replace the panel which is why I was willing to pay more as this had occurred before. However the workmen had a work order to simply tack the existing panel in place and glue it down. After calling the owner he said the price is the same. I explained that had I known that I would have shopped around a bit. Of course he was a bit defensive. Also note that they require a credit card on file and charge directly after the work even though the contract states a thirty day window. You know I am not a complainer but I didn't get a warm and fuzzy with this company. Just think twice and read the contract carefully. read more

We had a leak during the heavy down pour rain last week. We called Roofer 911 and got an appointment for an estimate. Steve, the owner with 40+ years of experience, came by to give us an estimate on Tuesday. It was 15-30 minutes from when he arrived to when he left. He went around back to walkthrough and identify the problem. As soon as he was done, we received an email for the estimate before he even came back in to the house to explain the problem and present the solutions. He showed us a video he filmed as he walked through to identify the root cause of the leak. He estimated one day, 4-5 hour work and no later than Thursday (he told us we don't even need to be present). We decided to hire him to fix the leak and his crew showed up this morning (Wednesday) and were done by 1pm or so. He then followed up in the evening to make sure we were happy with the work and assure us the problem will not occur again. Overall, he was very professional, great customer service, prices were very affordable, the entire process was very efficient and we were very happy to have hired him!
