I requested a free estimate on the company's website, because my flat roof retains water puddles after it rains. The owner, Chris Onoffrey, informed me that they were busy that week but would perform the inspection as soon as their schedule permits. The inspection was conducted the following Monday. Chris called to tell me that their inspection shows that I don't need a new roof. My roof is in good condition. He wanted to know why I was so concerned about the roof. About a year after we had solar installed we developed a leak. When the solar company came out they spent a couple of hours locating roughly where the leak was--said it wasn't related to their installation--and basically they really didn't know how to patch it. They used some black gunk all over and crossed their fingers. No luck. Then we called the GC that oversaw our renovation a couple of years earlier because he was reliable and his company generally did a lot of roofing. Very underwhelming. They complained about some loose nails but ultimately just sprayed some see-through barrier all over the area. No luck. Complete Roofing Solutions is a rare bird indeed. Most roofers these days (like most HVAC companies) won't do repairs and worse yet don't seem to understand how to go about doing them - they just show up and try to sell you a whole new roof. Chris's operation is something else. The home we just bought had numerous holes in the roof left by old satellite dishes and the like, many of which those who came before us didn't even do the courtesy of leaving the screws in. The wood paneling underneath had become rotten, and parts of the attic were clearly leaking when it rained. Chris was very responsive on the phone, and his crew, headed by Louis, was timely, professional, and extremely thorough in their work. The replacement shingles they installed were an exact match for brand and color with the original off-brand shingles (though being 7 years newer they will take some time to blend in). We also needed caulking done under the eaves, and the work done was very clean - they even left an unopened tube of the caulk they used so that we'd know what we're working with when we repaint over it. All in all, a fantastic experience. Can't recommend them enough - Chris will be the first person I call for anything related to my roof. read more

I needed to replace the roof on my home and did due diligence and gathered about 4 estimates from highly rated companies in the DMV area. Complete Roofing Solutions was the least expensive and the customer service experience was the best. We agreed to move forward with the project on 5/11 with the understanding that they had about a 2-week backlog. By Monday night, 5/14, we were experiencing pretty severe leaks through duct work and vents below where sections of the existing roofing material had been degraded or fallen off. I called Complete Roofing Solutions that same night and asked if there was anything they could do to temporarily cover the problem area until they could do the full new roof installation. Chris Onoffrey, their project coordinator, instead cleared their installation schedule for 5/15 and told me they would be out Tuesday morning and I'd have a new roof by the start of predicted showers Tuesday evening. He was true to his word. By Tuesday evening I had a brand new roof: shingles, underlayment, ice shield, flashing, ridge vent, and a few sections of sheathing.
