    new siding, trim

Long overdue review, but I would definitely recommend Winfield Builders! We had them replace the roof, gutters and siding on our rental property. Pricing was by far the most competitive and transparent and they helped us figure out financing too. Zach was a great project manager: very personable and excellent communication, especially important since we set everything up long distance from where we live on the west coast. He was great scheduling around our tenant, as well as some additional repairs needed to the chimney before we could start. The house looks great!

    New roof.

Did an excellent job on a roof for a great price. We needed a new roof to get insurance on a new home, in order for the financing to close, so we appreciate their speed and communication. Did the job in a day and cleaned up well.

American Window undercut the estimates of the other two vendors by a substantial margin. We also really liked they only asked for a modest down payment. Jay was our sales contact at American Windows and he was absolutely great. He has an engaging personality, and kept all his commitments to us. We appreciated that when installation day came, he swung by to ensure all was going well. Oh, how did the installation go? It was fantastic. Not only did the windows and door come earlier than promised, the American Windows crew came on time and worked quickly and professionally. We were amazed that the whole job only took 4 1/2 hours to complete. The windows and door materials are high quality and we are very satisfied with the results.

We decided to drive an hour out to their showroom without calling first. Even though they weren't open yet and are by-appointment-only, Phil greeted us without hesitation. It turned out they couldn't take on our small window sill repair since they didn't install the original window, but Phil helped us anyway! He gave us repair ideas, explained potential causes, pointed us toward the right tools, and gave us contacts who could help. To top it off, his cuddly dog Wilson kept us company, and Phil even recommended a local spot for lunch since he knew we had a long drive. We are completely speechless at his kindness and support, despite not even being paying customers. Based on this first impression, we would work with Phil any day. The world needs more people like him!

The biggest issue was the rot at our dormers, leading to insects getting inside. Our gutters were also not draining rain well and needed to explore larger/better gutters as the rain in some parts came down hard close to our foundation. This was a costly project that we knew would have to take priority. I messaged Dream through Yelp, and though I was hesitant since there weren't many reviews here, I took a chance since Google showed quite a few excellent reviews. To my surprise, someone responded and called me immediately and was able to send someone out the same day for an estimate. Sean, who worked with us on our estimate, was on-time, friendly, and low pressure. He provided an estimate to repair all of the original wood trim and recommended to encase it in aluminum. The contract was very well outlined and we felt it was a fair price. The most important part for me was that it did not feel like there were any games to play, as I was expecting/fearful of this from researching window related jobs. The work team first dropped off supplies -- everything was organized so cleanly on our driveway. The next day, they showed up before 7:30am and continued to do so the rest of the week. I have never seen a team to dedicated and punctual. They showed up early DAILY and left late DAILY, were polite, and even came on the weekend to wrap things up and clean up. Everything was done with great detail and they even helped us put up our new house number plate without hesitation. I could tell from that they care about their clients and their happiness. The gutter team finished their work within a few hours... so under a day of work! Also, Sean showed up personally a couple of times to talk through our contract and estimate when we needed clarification; we appreciated the efforts he made, without any second thoughts, to visit and explain everything face to face. Because of their proven, trustworthy work, consistent follow up, and honest pricing, we will definitely use them for windows as well. They never let us down and delivered everything on time which is rare for large projects. We really look forward to working with them for all future exterior needs -- they've won us as customers for life!

Mr Kim and his partner are very polite, keep the site clean, finish work in three days before the rain came. Happy customer here. Custom Concepts Construction (CCC) did two major jobs for us in late 2025, mostly involving…read morereplacing wood with James Hardie fiber-cement materials, other carpentry work, and gutters. We are extremely pleased with their work. We chose CCC for three reasons: 1. They are Elite Preferred James Hardie installers who carefully follow the Hardie standards of installation. 2. The co-owners and lead carpenter are experienced with all aspects of residential carpentry, having built homes and additions in the past. 3. The co-owner in charge of sales, Michael Swank, gave authoritative, unpressured advice and presented a masterfully written, detailed proposal with a detailed description and all charges. The price of their proposal was similar to, or lower than, those we received from other exterior contractors. One of our jobs was to replace all wood siding and trim with Hardie siding, trim, and panels on two three-story towers. I expected some difficulties with scaffolding over a stairwell, but the lead carpenter Kerdy and his assistants did the job masterfully, resulting in carefully executed, beautiful results. The second job was to renovate our 100-year-old garage by not only replacing sheathing, siding, and trim but also installing new interior wood beams (rafter ties and collar ties) and additional studs recommended by an engineer to stabilize the sagging garage framing structure. They skillfully manipulated the framing to straighten out the rear garage wall and front central post, which were bowing outward, as well as to straighten out the sagging ridge. During this process they erected temporary support posts inside the garage. We were glad to have hired a team who knew what they were doing with framing as well as exteriors. They also installed a new Pella window and figured out how to do the problematic moving of our shed next to the garage. Their subcontractor competently replaced all of our gutters and downspouts with larger ones. The project manager Daniel Harper, a co-owner of the company, directed the carpenters, handled the logistics of the job, and ensured the high quality of the finished product. We found CCC to be a well-organized and responsive small firm that is easy to communicate with. It was a particular pleasure to interact with Kerdy, the lead carpenter, who always provided clear and polite explanations. Billing was expertly handled by Katherine, who took our credit card payments without charging a fee. In summary, we highly recommend this company for exterior work!

Hello yelp! This review is based on my experience with Angel…read moreand his family. This is a true family owned and operated business. Since moving into an older single family home from a newer condo. I have also wanted to make updates to my home to feel more modern and enjoy some of the simple things I have been accustomed to such as filtered water from the Refrigerator. So after having Angel over for the initial consultation. We agreed on this method of installing a new water/ice supply line in a way that is not intrusive and also they were able to run the line with out needing to take any walls minimizing cost and time. So Delivery day comes when I ordered my new Samsung Refrigerator and new dishwasher. They come and "install" my new appliances by bringing them in and placing them into the kitchen. They tell me you need a plumber to finish the install because they cant do plumbing work. As the customer they did tell me they will only hook up the appliances if there is an existing line and if no modifications are needed. Well my dishwasher is like 15 years old and i didn't know that my old dishwasher was installed in a janky DIY fashion. So I called Angel to explain the dishwasher situation and they were able to update the services and Temo and Alan were absolute pros. They saw the prior work and told me we can get that updated to code. So after the big brand installers bring in the dishwasher and new refrigerator. The real work happens when Temo and Alan from Munoz home services were able to run the water line expertly, install the water filtration system that I saw on Shark Tank, and resolve the janky water supply line from the prior dishwasher install. The team were respectful of my home and my parents. And we are excited to have them back for more impactful projects throughout the property. 5 out of 5 stars!!!!! Excellent service and lots of TLC for our older home.

My insurance company wanted to just insert new siding strips in the areas where the siding fell off. This would have been a disaster as the remaining siding was 25 years old and there was no exact matching of the siding. It took several months of negotiating with the insurance company but both Mike and Jason stayed on it and today we have our home repaired to better than new condition. The two gentlemen who worked on the siding were very patient and careful. The work was completed at the highest level with clean neat caulking and siding that fits snugly against the wall. I wanted new frameless…read moreshower doors, new grout, new cabinets, new shower floor tile, and new hardware including a filtered shower head with a separate wand. You would think such a small and easy job would take no more than 2 days, right? It took TEN DAYS!! TEN!!! They originally estimated 2-3 days for the remodel. The lack of professionalism started on day one. The day they were scheduled to start the work, they show up in a regular car and just looked at my bathroom and left 4 minutes later promising they would come back the next day. There was never a question asked about what days worked best for me. They never showed up the next day. In fact, no one came anytime that week. I got a call from June the CEO (allegedly) who told me the cabinets were on backorder. After a 3 week wait, Four Seasons scheduled my job. The day they were to begin, they brought the supplies and put them in my garage. No one ever asked me were all the items I wanted correct. NO quality check--nothing. Then the workers asked me what I wanted done. They were sub-contractors and Four Seasons management never BOTHERED to tell them what the job entailed. These subcontractors were FAR more professional than Four Seasons and they even felt frustrated by the unprofessionalism and lack of communication. Although I kept asking them was the shower door frameless and a pivot door (the box had no pictures or description), they told me yes because they assumed it was. When I was busy working, they put an old-fashioned, FRAMED, sliding shower door up. I was horrified because it was NOT what I requested. To make it worse, it was below the quality I had in there before they started the job. At least mine had a pivot door. Who does a bathroom remodel to put a door from the 1970s in??? Just Four Seasons, apparently. The subcontractors explained they could not take it down because they had drilled holes into the stonework to put it in. It would destroy my stonework to take it out. They also said Four Seasons had not provided the frameless door I wanted anyway--even by day Ten. They told their boss who told Four Seasons. June, the alleged owner called me--not to apologize about how long this simple job was taking, but to complain to ME (who had taken off of work) about how long the job had taken (10 business days) and that their employee who made my contract had "really done a lot of bad things and was fired" and the job had taken "longer than we expected" and he was "not making any money" on my job. He demanded that I pay extra for a frameless door because they could not spend any more money on my job. I wrote him an epic letter in response telling him that I was disgusted by his ask when they had purchased inferior, bottom of the barrel materials for every part of my job (Home Depot variety) and I did not appreciate it (from a cheap towel bar and shower head that was not filtered like I asked to a shower head without the separate wand as I requested to the $40, 1976 shower door). Everything about the materials were cheap and discount basement. They also subcontracted the job out to another company that I never vetted. Four Seasons did not give a damn about whether I wanted that to happen. I did not. Four Seasons issue was with that company that they hired--not me. If they took too long, how was that MY fault? To add insult to injury, two weeks after the job was "complete" (allegedly), the sliding 1976 shower door they installed came off track. We called and called Four Seasons and they promised to come fix it on Tuesday, then Wednesday and then Thursday. They never showed up either of those days and failed to return my calls. I definitely need to sue them. If you are on the fence about a bathroom remodel, I hope this review convinces you to RUN! It would be better to just go pick up some day-laborers outside of Home Depot. They would do a better job and care about the finished product unlike Four Seasons.
